Cabin holiday rentals in Plainview

This cabin is perfect for a peaceful and private getaway. Even though neighbors are close you cannot see them from inside the cabin nor hear them. It is the perfect size for two and has all the necessary amenities to make it a relaxing and cozy stay. The hosts had a sweet welcome present for us upon arrival. And a wonderfully extensive local guide book which made our outing days easy and fun. Check in was simple and checking out wasn't a long chore list. This cabin will stay in our 'return to' list. Thank you guys for making our stay just what we wanted.

Jessica is a great host and her place is awesome, especially if you have an active dog. He had more fun than me exploring the property and adjacent trails. The cave is very cool, and has a natural spring running out of it. Overall everything was as listed and I would definitely stay here again. Hot tub was a plus, especially as the rain got the weather cooler.

This place was a dream, my husband and I loved every minute of our stay! The only thing we wish changed was the length of the trip! We should’ve stayed longer!

The stay at Ryan and Genette’s cabin was amazing! My wife and I were stopping in on our way down for our honeymoon! The cabin was quiet and peaceful, easy to enjoy the night we had. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Unbelievable cabin!! I took my wife here to celebrate her 40th and reconnect from a busy life with three kids and opposite schedules. Words are not enough to describe how amazing our stay was. Farm fresh eggs, a fire ready to start, and even a special literary surprise were just a few of the little touches that brought our stay to another level. Thomas and Mallory were always available, checked in on us to make sure our stay was smooth and provided wonderful recommendations for the area. We hated leaving but cannot wait to return one day!

We wanted a place to get away for a long weekend to relax and do some fishing. The home was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed! Beautiful lake for fishing and fire pit including fire wood! We had some rain one afternoon, but that was ok because we got to spend that afternoon on the super comfortable couch and watching movies!! Great place! We would absolutely return! Thank you Linda!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The Moonshack was amazing! It was serene, peaceful and the best place to unplug! We didn’t get any cell service (we think it’s a T-Mobile thing), but we didn’t even mind. The dogs were living their best lives and we were just so impressed with everything from the construction of the Moonshack to the amazing Ozark views. Make sure you read the history of the place in the welcome book! We loved our stay and plan to be back to see the fall colors!

This was such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! We wish we could have stayed longer. The place was exactly as described. We enjoyed sitting by the pond and even playing a few rounds of cornhole before the rain started. Also, we loved the decor and thought that was put into this home! We will definitely be back!

If you are wanting a cabin on the creek surrounded by beautiful nature this is it! Our stay and experience was simply beautiful.

Beautiful riverside cabin with a lot of private space indoor. The kids loved the loft area and jacuzzi tub, and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms for getting ready in the morning. The porch connected to the master bedroom made mornings more relaxing as the wife and I could enjoy our coffee while viewing the river. I would highly recommend this location for a fun family weekend getaway!

We had a wedding in the area and Michael’s cabin was very convenient for us! Aside from us getting a little lost trying to find it, Michael came to find us and we followed him back to his driveway that we passed! The cabin was clean, neat and great for our little getaway! Michael and his wife were very nice to us as well! We will be returning in the future, 100% recommend!! 😄

Absolutely loved everything about this place! Beautiful scenery, very responsive and helpful hosts, clean, and when they say fully stocked they mean it. The kids loved the board games, the boys fished all day, our dog had the time of her life! Cannot recommend enough, we will definitely be back!

Amazing stay in a private and peaceful location! The large covered porch was perfect for enjoying the peace and quiet and also some rain and thunder. The Hemmed-in-Hollow trailhead is just four minutes from the cabin - it’s a grueling hike to get back out, but so worth it. The Antenna Pine trail (located on the property) was stunning! Also did Lost Valley Trail which is just 10-12 miles away. Tiffany provided a detailed list of local trails, floating, swimming, etc. Would highly recommend this AirBnb!

We had another magical stay, this time at the Groundkeeper’s Hut! Me and my friend are huge potter heads. So when we saw this place after visiting the Burrow two years ago, we knew we had to come book a stay! Highly recommend staying here if you want an authentic magical experience!

Words can’t begin to describe these incredible and amazing people. My husband and I were at Chimney Rock celebrating our honeymoon at Brett and Pam’s place when Hurricane Helene hit. Unprecedented isn’t the right word, but all I can think of. This cabin was literally our shelter from the storm and Pam and Brett were there for us every moment as they were going through their own devastation. The people of Chimney Rock are the most special community you will ever meet. We will do everything we can to support them and will be back as they begin to rebuild. We were just visitors as the whole town went through a catastrophic event, but feel forever connected to and invested in the town of Chimney Rock. Brett and Pam, thank you for opening your beautiful home to us, and for creating a sense of safety, community, and care. You are forever friends and will forever be a part of our lives.

My family and I stayed at Misty Bluff in celebration of my retirement. The best part of the entire experience for me was waking up every morning seeing the sun rising above the mountains from the master bedroom. The house was very clean and the decor made it feel like home. Karla's response time to any question was prompt. I could not have asked for a better experience to start this new chapter of my life.

Another great trip. This time I shared my secluded space with my daughter. Books, sunshine and Marg made for complete relaxation. 😊

We have stayed here a few time now and love this place. We will always stay here when we come to area. It is well worth the money and is very, very clean and feels like home. We always hate to leave.
