My family and I came up from Friday to Tuesday for my birthday. It was the perfect getaway. We took advantage of all the wonderful recommendations that Meng and Andrew gave us. All of the restaurants and shops were fantastic. The home is set in front a beautiful peaceful creek, we had the windows open and enjoyed the beautiful sounds of nature and the fresh air. My dog loved running around the property and drinking from the stream. The sauna and the hot tub where the perfect treat after our adventurous days. I could not have asked for a better getaway. The home is thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Thank you!

The A-Frame on Pudding Hill was everything we were looking for — cozy, private, and super romantic. It had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was a little tricky to turn on at first haha, but once it was going, it was perfect. Thank you, Lenny, for being such a thoughtful host. We felt truly cared for, and we’d love to return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dreamy getaway!

House sits right on the lake, beautiful property very private but close to town. The open floor plan is so comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need. The house was well organized and very clean. Communication with Anna was easy and very responsive. The hot tub was such a nice treat at the end of the day. Would highly recommend this home.

Great place to visit. The host was super responsive and generously left fresh farm eggs for us! The place is cute and comfortable and on a farm. We booked this super last minute and they were beyond accommodating! Allowed flexible check out and was really helpful with local recommendations. The bed was really comfortable and the place was spotless. Only a 5 minute drive to Watkins glen! Highly recommend!!

Rena was an amazing host we were running a bit late to check in due to car problems she was very caring and always responded quickly. Checking in and out was super easy. Her place is beautiful and peaceful. Even though it rained during our stay the place still looked amazing! The sounds of nature were soothing, and the views were breathtaking. At night the stars looked remarkable. My girlfriend and I will never forget The Roost. Thank you for having us rena. We really appreciated how understanding and responsive you were during our stay. Beautiful scenery and a lovely house, we had a great vacation and enjoyed both staying in house when it was rainy and easily reach hiking and rafting places when the sun came out; Maxwell was very friendly and responsive, we warmly recommend this place

We had our micro wedding here. It started out as a rainy day. Right before the start of the wedding the clouds broke and sun came out! Made this moment even more beautiful. The rental had plenty board games to keep the kids busy. The wheelhouse is very beautiful and with the amt rain we were able to see it fully at work. The scenery is very cozy and relaxing. The kitchen is fully stocked with every amenities you would need. They even had spices and coffee supplies which you don’t often see in many Airbnb spaces. The beds were very cozy! I had back surgery 2 months ago and slept so comfortably. The master bath is very romantic. They provide you with laundry supplies as well which is a huge plus.

We had a great stay fishing, walking and just relaxing. Did some driving to Speculator and Indian Lake too. Good plan when it’s buggy!

Our 3rd stay on the property - first time in the A-frame. It was a wonderful 3 days! The cabin is cozy, comfortable, has everything you need and is right on the St Regis river. The whole property is beautiful and has lovely, walkable trails. Thank you Sandy for maintaining this very special place, providing the perfect cabin setting and sharing it with us. We will be back in 2026!

My wife, dog and I stayed four nights over Memorial Day. The home/cabin, was private, secluded, well-maintained, clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately, we had four days of rain and cool weather, but we never felt confined, bored, etc. The outdoor grill, inside wood burning stove, privacy, tv streaming options, large table for games, etc. made the trip very enjoyable, relaxing and fun. Also, it goes without saying, our AUD cattle dog, seemed to enjoy himself and there were many places on the property for him to explore. Finally, it was very quiet during the day and evening; whereby, there were no distractions or obstacles to relaxation or sleep.

I know the area super well so have a good perspective on location and quality of available accommodation etc. Mark and Lori’s place was standout on all dimensions. Close to both Woodstock and Saugerties which is great for dining and social options. Location is safe, pretty, peaceful and convenient. The house itself is immaculate and charming with a lot of nice character touches. It’s well appointed, and even if you choose to dine in, they have supplied all that one could need. A special place and if I need accommodation again I would book in a heartbeat.

Desma's cabin was the perfect getaway for us... tucked away in the woodline with a small stream running through the property. Peaceful, wonderful. Comfortable. We highly recommend Desma as an excellent host and her lovely cabin as an excellent place to stay for a week to unwind.

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem Over the Water! This over-the-water bungalow in Otego, New York, is by far one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever experienced. The peaceful and quiet setting made it the perfect escape, and being able to fish right off the deck was a huge bonus. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the place had all the creature comforts of home—cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. Michael and Courtney were amazing hosts—warm, welcoming, and responsive. You can truly tell they put their heart into making this place special. We’re already planning our next visit!

My favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed at. And that bed! So comfortable. If we didn’t live in the area I would stay again!

This was our fourth time at the cabin and we just love it there. It has its own magical feel and charm. Clara is great and we always look forward to catching up with her. Even though the weather was lousy, we still had a great time making fires, listening to the rain and enjoying the quiet time with our pup. We will definitely be coming back for a fifth time!

Kathy’s cabin was a wonderful, serene getaway. Kathy gave us a heads-up where the nearest markets/restaurants were and provided all the kitchenware we could want. It made for a very memorable weekend for my girlfriend and I. There is even a cute little pond where we saw little lizards and tadpoles! We will definitely book again, thank you Kathy!

We had a great time at Jill’s place! The house had everything we needed and was super clean. The views out to the lake were beautiful and the paddle boards were a lot of fun! The nearest grocery store is about 8 minutes away, and the town of Liberty isn’t much further. The check in process was easy, and Jill is a great and responsive host. Also, there’s a sweet vinyl collection with a great sound system! Would definitely stay again!

Such a lovely space with everything you need to settle in and relax away from the city, and so close to two wonderful towns in Woodstock and Saugerties. We had a lovely stay and hope to come back soon!

The cabin and surrounding area were beautiful. Cabin had everything you could need and there is loads of nature and natural beauty to see. Perfect place to go to and be away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The home is truly beautiful and the host were amazing and responsive. this is a great location and a wonderful getaway from the NYC area if you're looking for something relatively close by but that feels like it's very different and distant. I am hopeful of the opportunity in the future to visit again because I truly enjoyed the stay

Kevin's stellar reviews are a testament to the thought, care and quality of his property. I would say the pictures themselves don't even do the property justice. The property itself is beautiful, spacious, wonderfully designed, incredibly well-equipped and set against the backdrop of serene surroundings; featuring streams, quiet country roads and ample wildlife. Kevin was also friendly, responsive and accommodating during our visit. My parents were incredibly impressed with the thoughtful touches Kevin had included in and around the property, as well as his incredibly detailed instructions and recommendations. This would be a great place to stay for a family or large-ish group of friends looking for a serene escape in the Hudson Valley area!

I so rarely actually write reviews, but I had to for Orphy and John's place. This is hands down best Airbnb experience I've ever had. Every detail is so carefully thought out in the place - from the thoughtful welcome basket and slippers, every single coffee apparatus a caffeine junky could need, high end kitchen appliances and barware...the linen sheets, the comfy beds, the towels, the soaps, the fireplaces...I'm obsessed with this place and me and my girlfriends are planning to make it an annual retreat. It rained the weekend we were there so we barely got to experience the grounds (but they are gorgeous), and we almost didn't even care because the house was so perfect alone. Thank you so much Orphy and John for giving us such a perfect weekend. Book this place; you will not regret it.
