“I came here for a small getaway, and man, was I NOT disappointed. It’s exactly like the pictures, the place is beautifully done... and with the exception of the occasional plane overhead, it’s surprisingly quiet. Jonathan and Maggie thought of nearly everything to provide a comfortable stay... the guide book is very helpful, the WiFi is strong, the bed is comfortable, the place was very clean, the AC/fan efficient at keeping the place cool, maps and simple snacks were available... and the location is close to shops, restaurants (5 min by car), and the subway is a 5-min walk... you really can’t beat it. I would definitely recommend to anyone!!”
Welcome to my cozy, quaint and quiet 2 bedroom apartment in Bed-Stuy!
“We had the best time in New York and we loved staying in Brooklyn . It’s slightly outside of the centre but very easy to get too especially if flying from jfk airport. Also easy to get into central New York . We used the A subway train which would get u to Brooklyn. ( 10 walk from appartment) We walked across the bridge which was a highlight absolutely loved it . The appartment was perfect . So comfortable and the bedrooms were so cosy. Esp loved the front bedroom with the beautiful windows to sit and relax and look out too. The kitchen was small but enough space for what you need . Can cook yourself or lots of restaurants and takeaway places to eat . The supermarket was one block across then take a right and then u are there on the corner. The appartment was very clean and tidy and can see it is well maintained. Would recommend this place to friends and a family of 4 . The hosts were helpful and quick to respond . Thanks for a lovely stay joy and Step”

“We had a lovely time staying at Charlie's place on Fort Salonga! The space is a cottage, but they have done a great job with updates and making it feel upscale, comfy, and homey all at the same time. We loved the location. It is tucked away off the road and feels like a small slice of heaven. There was a tree swing that overlooked the ocean, a firepit, and just 10 steps down from their yard to the beach. The covered porch extends the indoors outside with seating, a new grill, and additional burners for cooking. There was even backup propane for when we ran out! There are so many small, but thoughtful, touches that really elevates Charlie's place! There were games, a Roku and big screen tv, a bluetooth speaker, large beach umbrella, fishing poles, and beach towels and chairs. Even just many practical things that other AirBNBs often don't provide including basic seasonings and other cooking essentials, soap/shampoo/conditioner, bug spray, etc. I would not encourage you to take advantage of or rely on these things being there, but it was nice for any forgotten items! The only thing that I had wished we had more of was kitchen dishes/utensils/tupperware/cookware, but we were able to make do with what we had. As advertised, the beach was rocky- glad we had water shoes. The ocean seems to wash up a bit of seaweed onto the shore, and in the afternoons when the tide goes out, the water gets a little murky. We were able to go out into the ocean during the daytime (with our shoes of course) and enjoy floating around with our noodles. Charlie was very responsive with any questions we had- both before and during our trip. We also had the pleasure of meeting his sister, who stopped by to introduce herself in case we had any additional needs. Charlie's dogma of trusting those staying in his home to be respectful (without imposing a slew of rules which you would probably follow anyways but feels burdensome) is rare these days. So PLEASE, if you plan to stay at Charlie's place, be respectful of him and his place and don't ruin it for the rest of us. This place is a GEM!”
