House holiday rentals in Lucca

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

Breathtaking location with views that are exactly what you want in the Chianti region. It was a beautiful place and was very nicely setup. Extremely responsive and helpful host. He provided recommendations and was quick to respond to questions. The house is centered nicely within the region and allows access to many different villages, wineries, and restaurants. An amazing experience and I highly recommend!

This is a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. It is well located to visit the ocean, the old city of Lucca, and many other areas around Lucca. Serena and her family are wonderful hosts.

Everything was absolutely perfect! ⭐️ Location: Ideal base for exploring Tuscany — you’re right in the heart of it all. Whether you’re heading to Florence, Pisa, or the charming hill towns, everything is within easy reach. House: Well-equipped and comfortable, with all the listed amenities in perfect working order. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

Ilaria's home and garden make you feel like you are "Sitting on Top of the World". Like in the Walter Vinson and Lonnie Chatmon song. Time flew in Perpoli, like the swallows in the clear blue sky that embraced the mighty mountains at the horizon. The house is intimate, like the village whereas the garden is a never ending story. Ilaria is a super friendly host who was easy to communicate with and (together with her father's art) has given this place a piece of magic. No doubt we would love to come back

The main thing is Nada' s attention to every communication you sent, she responds the same day. Anything you asks for within reason, you get from Nada. It was a new experience for us in Tuscany but her property is combiniently located within 40 minutes to an hour and 30 from all the Tuscany turistic places.

Everything is great! Dieter reception, the apartment, the whole thing... everything great! Lucca is definitely worth a visit. By bike from the house to the city - everything great and in the shortest time. Parking your bike at the house is also no problem. However, everything: excellent!

Very easy to find and close to funicular that ran every 30 minutes on schedule. At least 5 restaurants for lunch and dinner. Small store for basics. Terrace facing northeast was wonderful in the morning. Umbrellas for shade if needed. Washer with folding clothesline to dry inside or out. We only used the main bedroom and bath - both on second floor. Very nice. The second bedroom was on the second floor and second bath was in the basement - did not use those spaces or the sitting room in walkout basement. Kitchen stocked with basics for electric coffee maker (a bit noisy) and hand brother. Gas stove for heating milk. Toaster oven. Large grid freezer with many ice trays. Enjoyed the cat that showed up A few times. Easy 20 min walk from main train station (not Centro) to funicular. Main station also had many bus connections like to Grotta Giusti but only to swim in outdoor pool. You can’t swim in the cave - too bad. Would love to come back.

Once over the train station bridge and you are in the old town of Lucca, with all its beauties, its flair, but also with its tourist character. Then you can look forward to the tranquility and seclusion of the accommodation. Another advantage is the parking if you arrive by car. The place is charming and spacious for two people. The high ceilings and room layout are really so well done that you can feel right at home. The bed was comfortable and a small study is also provided. Theoretically, you can even sit outside, but you prefer to do that in Lucca in one of the beautiful places. Communication with the landlords was always very pleasant and fast. You can definitely trust the restaurant tip from the Da Vasco handbook. We would book here again immediately for our next visit to Lucca. Lucca is always worth a trip.

Our stay at Casa Diva was amazing! Lia, Vicki and family are so welcoming, helpful , and went above and beyond. We were traveling with our toddler who was in heaven with all of the fun activities and toys. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and serenity outside our windows. It was easy to get around. We walking to Lucca many times ( about 50 min) and drove around the area. It was the perfect home base! Highly recommend.

The host’s here are the best. Kind, responsive,and helpful. The home was quiet, clean, large, well equipped, and safe. The home is beautifully furnished and we would like to go back every year!

Very comfortable and beautiful house in its being small,I fell in love, a quiet place, friendly neighbors and Pier Giuseppe, a very kind person and immediately ready to run to help if you call him... I highly recommend it

What touched us even more were the lovely welcoming gifts from his wife – such a sweet surprise that made us feel immediately at home. It’s rare to meet such genuine and caring people, and we’re so grateful for the experience. The home was just as described – cozy, clean, and full of warmth. Really nice place to be with beautiful surroundings and very clean. A short drive to Lucca centre and far enough to be away from the busy centre. Finally, Baloo the chocolate labrador adds to the list of pluses 😁

A relaxing place to stay with . sofa and bed were very comfortable. good showers, loved the piano. you can reach several free all day car parks into Lucca within 10 min. i would also recommend the Park & Tram service into Florence. i would book again if the need arises.

Highly recommend this gorgeous house as somewhere to stay in Lucca. Elisa has been the best airbnb host we’ve ever experienced, so helpful and supportive. We traveled with our 18 month old toddler, the house & gardens were so spacious which was ideal. Plus our child loved the chickens at the end of the garden! The location was perfect in our opinion. A very short easy drive into Lucca, and close to free town parking which was a very short walk into Lucca centre. We loved the comfortable large beds and ensuits in every room. The factory opposite didn’t cause any disturbance, a very slight humming sound during the week but it is really nothing to worry about. We can’t wait to return! 10/10

A truly wonderful place to stay. The only sounds you’ll hear is the singing of the birds. Extremely clean and stocked with everything you will need. The property is beautiful and the pool is a fantastic way to end your day of exploring. We highly recommend. We know you won’t be disappointed.

Our family needed a house to be near family as well as the city of Lucca, but we wanted the peace & quiet of the hills. This house was perfect for us, even with all the stairs! In fact the stairs were great conditioning for all the walking we did. There were 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which is great for a family of 4 (Mom, Dad, and 2 kids over the age of 8). Everything was as pictured: towels and linens were clean, kitchen spotless, and yard was beautiful. We did not have time to use the hot tub, although it looked very inviting. We did enjoy the amazing views from all the bedrooms as well as time spent sitting outside on the terrace. Igor was a great host and the Welcome gift was enjoyed. Although we were somewhat familiar with Lucca, Igor was able to provide us with more local information that was extremely helpful (grocery stores, parking, restaurants, and sites to visit). He greeted us when we arrived and was there to say Goodbye. Definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful place. Clotilde is friendly and helpful. Tranquil large garden and fantastic pool. Great for kids, our one year old loved running around in the grass. Excellent kitchen for cooking at home. Location is very convenient to Lucca and some charming small towns. The Esselunga in Pescia (10 min drive) is one of the best supermarkets I’ve ever seen.

How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!
