Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Lucca

I studied abroad in Florence and stayed here at the end of my semester with my parents. This apartment is in a PERFECT location. Everything is genuinely 10 minutes walking distance away! The place is very spacious and we loved our stay here!

We felt very comfortable. The location of the accommodation is great, you have a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside. Certaldo and a supermarket are 7 minutes away by car (which you also need here!) The room was large enough for 2 people and everything you need was available. A bonus is the pool and the other options such as table tennis, billiards or the gym. We would definitely come back and had a great time!

The appartment is as the description and photos. The check in was very easy as we had instructions to follow. 💙 It was perfect for our short stay and had everything you may need to cook a breakfast and go to explore Florence. Tram and bus pass closed by so it was easy to arrive to the city centre.

Paola was the perfect host. we had some travel delays the day of our arrival and she was flexible and helpful. The apartment has a balcony you will fall in love with. Best place to start your day watching the sun come up and a stunning place to enjoy wine at night. the bedroom has great a/c and even on the 90 degree days you could easily get comfortable. The bedroom also was farther inside the apartment and so the sound of the bells was not a problem for us. the location near the train station was wonderfully convenient. There are plenty off cafe spots within the block of you and markets. If we get the chance to return to Florence we will most definitely stay here again.

Wow it’s an amazing place for a family or friends group trip to unbound to the nature. Amazing borderless swimming pool. Very beautiful area around and BBQ zone. There is a lot of fun around like a tennis and running stuff.

Amazing apartment in an amazing location. Fantastically appointed and designed. So comfortable and beautiful, with so much character. We LOVED our stay here and would stay here again in a heartbeat if we return to Florence. Slight downsides to know about: the kitchen is not near the living room, and there is definitely noise at night as this is right next to a bus stop on a busy main road in the ancient city center (we use white noise at night, so it wasn't a problem). Also, the water pressure in the showers is a little light, and the ceiling in the shower in the back bedroom is very low. Lastly, the bathroom for the "master bedroom" is not ensuite--it is only accessed by walking through the living room and past the entryway. But the other two bedrooms are just as comfortable and both have ensuite bathrooms. And honestly, all things considered, an apartment this size, this immaculate, with so much character and good design in the city center is amazing.

Nice location if we can keep luggages would be much better as Florence is a tourist city.

Excellent structure. Really comfortable and impeccably clean house. Large bathroom with window. Beautiful bedroom. Very comfortable beds (even for 4 people). The living room and kitchen are also spacious. Super-equipped kitchen, nothing is really missing. A kit with breakfast and water is also provided. There is also coffee, salt and oil. You can also enjoy a nice porch and outdoor area. Strategic location in a quiet place with the possibility of reaching all the attractions of the area in a very short time. Parking inside the garden of the property. There are also modern and well-maintained bicycles. Very friendly and always responsive host. He was able to satisfy all our needs, always with a smile. He also gave us great advice on places to eat or visit. In short, without exaggerating, I can say that it is highly recommended.

I was relieved that the landlord told me in detail how to check in using what app before check-in. He answered my questions quickly and was very kind~ I was so comfortable that I thought, 'I wish it was my house.' The location was nice because it wasn't too noisy, and there was a conad nearby, but if you walk 1km, there is a big esselunga, so it's nice to shop!

I had to stay at Federico's accommodation at two different times, and he was very attentive from the first contact. The description of the accommodation matches the advertisement, easy access to all points of the city due to the means of transportation near the apartment (tram, bus and train). I hope to stay again one day.

We have just returned from a great holiday in Tuscany. Our first visit to the area. Eleanors place was as described, was clean and comfortable and has been the perfect base for what we had planned, visiting Florence, Sienna and other villages in the area. We hired a car from the airport and the directions to the property were good. We had good communication with Eleanor from booking to arrival and during our stay. The property is sitiated within a family owned olive grove with lovely views from the estate over Florence and the surrounding area. We would recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you

Dina was a wonderful host! Upon checking, she gave many local recommendations and was so helpful! The place was exactly as described and looked like the pictures. Very walkable everywhere!!! The backyard was so private and great to have a patio. Will definitely come back!

Andrea is a great host, the apartment is equipped with everything you need, nothing is missing, clean and fragrant sheets and everything taken care of in detail. We were impressed by the wide and extensive selection of coffee pods. Thanks Andrea, see you next time ☺️

Fabio's accommodation was lovely and the description corresponded exactly to what I found: cleanliness, tidiness, perfect placement of spaces. Conditioned with silent and efficient air conditioners. The location offered restaurants, supermarkets, bars near the house and a large shopping center. Fabio was very kind, helpful and very present even at night. I felt at home! Very kind also with the check in for the luggage storage. If I were to return to that area, I will definitely try to stay in this very welcoming apartment.

An absolutely stunning place! Despite all the glowing reviews, they can’t fully capture the experience of staying here. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a luxurious estate. The grounds and pool are breathtaking, offering a serene and relaxing escape. If you're looking for peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of Lucca and Pisa, this is the perfect place to unwind. Alessandro was very responsive for early check in, met us at the door to give a Tour, helped us book a taxi for our early morning flight and recommend a dinner restaurant. 10 minute walk to train station into downtown Florence for the day 1.60 euro each way.

Cozy house, well furnished, with spa and gym, equipped with every comfort, everything manages to make even the days of bad weather spectacular! Andrea is always ready and available for any need, he made us spend a memorable weekend. Highly recommended!!

We were there as a group and had a wonderful vacation. The single location is very idyllic with fabulous views of the valley and over the olive trees. The villa was very well equipped( kitchen everything you can imagine, additional fridge, washing machine +dryer...) you noticed that the house is also used privately and was therefore also decorated with a lot of love for detail. The style is very comfortable. Beds very comfortable, screens on all windows. We were very enthusiastic about the pizza oven, as well as the pool. We spent most of our time at the house due to the heat and the very steep driveway (gravel path, partly rinsed out, two sharp turns). A car for activities and shopping is a must-see.

We stayed at Patricia's beautiful property which is a lovely old farmhouse, set in a peaceful countryside location but which is walkable to a town with shops, bars and a restaurant. The property has plenty of space and is filled with character. There was pleasant outside seating, a bbq with additional seating area, pool, gardens and off road parking. Patrizia was very helpful and kind and always on hand/email to answer any questions. The property was good value and we would be very happy to return to the property again.

Our stay at Veronica's was absolutely fantastic! We were a group of 5 friends in Tuscany for a local wedding. The villa was exactly what we needed, quiet, clean excellent views and a great hot tub. Veronica was extremely friendly, helpful and only a quick message away if we had any questions or concerns. During our stay we were offered for a private chef to come to the villa to cook for us. We chose the Tuscano menu which was delicious! Roberto and Lorena cooked us a feast which lasted for days! Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for something easy one night. We hired a car during our stay which made it easy to get about. The surrounding roads were a bit hit and miss in terms of width, traffic and gravel, but we managed!

We were four girls on a girls’ trip and had an amazing stay! The house was exactly as described; spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. Louise was a fantastic host: super friendly and always quick to reply to any messages. She welcomed us with such thoughtful touches; wine, water, coffee pods, and even a light breakfast for our first morning, which made us feel instantly at home. The pool is just a short drive from the property and such a lovely spot! There are sunbeds, chairs, and tables in the pool area, and we spent a perfect afternoon there relaxing snd soaking up the sun with wine and snacks! The hot tub at the house is also a big plus, the warm water was ideal for a chilled late afternoon or evening. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we’d absolutely return. Highly recommend for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway!

Our stay at the Antico Podere Sant'Anna was very pleasant. We were looking for a quiet place where we could stay with our little girl but that would allow us to reach the center of Pistoia in a short time, and so it was. Sara was super helpful and met our needs. For those who love tranquility, being surrounded by greenery but still enjoying the proximity of the center, it is the perfect place!
