Apartment holiday rentals in Lucca

I am an older, male, English speaking, solo traveler and photographer who loves Italy. From my point of view Lucca is an excellent destination, this Airbnb apartment is the best place to be if you are looking for an Airbnb, and Silvia has the qualities that I most appreciate in a good host: she communicates well in English, she reacts quickly, and she answers my questions as they arise. An excellent host is not a host that guarantees your stay will be problem free - an excellent host is a person who effectively deals with problems as they arise. Silvia is an excellent host. I hope to return to Lucca in the future and I will aim to again stay in this apartment with Silvia as my host.

By far the best AirBnB experience we’ve ever had. What a fantastic location, close to the city walls, lovely views - and the Giro d’Italia passed right by us! So nice and light in the living room/ dining area. The hosts went above and beyond to help us with everything. Thank you Paola and Massimo.

We had a great stay at Bonnie's place. The apartment was just as advertised. It was roomy, clean and had all the expected amenities. The bedrooms were great with comfortable beds. The living room, kitchen and dining areas were also very nice. It was also in a great location.

Great spot on Via Fillungo! I felt like a royal in the Busdraghi family :-)

Nice little self-contained unit right outside the main South Gate of the city walls and a short walk from the train station. We found it to be darker than expected, possibly due to our difficulty in opening the windows and shutters to lighten up the living room section, but it is well-equipped and spotless.

Gabby and Barbara never left a question unanswered. And went above and beyond to make sure we understood the neighborhood. We absolutely loved their space. It was quiet, charming, and had everything we needed. And sitting on the balcony in the morning for coffee will change your life!😎⭐️

The location in the immediate vicinity of the train station is ideal for excursions. The apartment is just great. It is beautifully furnished and has everything you need. Daniele has always offered his help. But since everything was perfect, we didn't need it. If you want to explore Tuscany without a rental car, then this apartment is definitely a top recommendation. I felt at from the first until the last minute. How Anna does it that you never miss anything while nothing unnecessary ist there, will remain a miracle to me.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment, ground floor with outside covered terrace, so with the weather a little unpredictable this was great to still be able to access the outdoor space even during a storm! The apartment was tastefully decorated with everything we needed for our week stay, the kitchen space was well equipped and the lounge and bedroom both had French doors leading to the covered terrace. The bed was comfortable, and the shower efficient. We were given some info and tips on places to visit and trips to make which was really helpful. Guilia was a great host who we saw on several occasions and she was keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, even apologising for the weather! The location of the apartment is wonderful, situated just along from the river, in walking distance to the station on the other side of the river and to attractions there and also from the apartment in the other direction, a short walk to The Leaning Tower and other sites - would recommend

Quiet apartment in the middle of a lively area. Many options for food and easy access to Livorno's attractions. Good value for money.

We had a fantastic stay at this property in Pisa! Elisa was incredibly proactive and communicated everything clearly from start to finish—truly one of the best we’ve experienced. The space itself was beautiful, spotless, and equipped with every amenity we could have asked for. The location was perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommended—we’d definitely stay here again!

A beautiful apartment with stunning views. Easy access to many beautiful places to visit such as San Gimignano, Florence and Sienna. The apartment was clean and comfortable with amenities as listed. The views from the communal terrace were stunning and there was plenty of space to sit without being on top of other guests. We would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in this great apartment. Daniela met us and was so flexible in communications. The apartment was exactly as described and in a quieter part of town but within walking distance of everything that Florence has to offer. Very close by are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants - many of which we enjoyed visiting. The bed was really comfortable and it was a bonus to have the washing machine and outside clothes line to dry things off - with added lovely jasmine scent from the beautiful bushes below.

A very nice apartment in a great location to walk around and enjoy the city. We had a really nice time in Pisa, and this was a perfect base from which to explore.

We had a couple of fantastic days up in the mountains on Cima alla Serra. We sat every night on the terrace and enjoyed the view and the tranquility, and during the day you could relax by the pool, which was fantastic. Giovanna and the staff on site were very helpful and we are so happy about our stay. Although it is relatively close to Pisa, you should have a car, which we were recommended. We hope to have the opportunity to come back again! Thank you for a couple of nice days :)

Deborah was the nicest host! She welcomed us with kindness and prepared everything nice for our stay. We would totally recommend the stay there, when you are searching for a quiet stay, but want to go for some Citytrips as well. :)

Marcello’s place felt serene and relaxing and our time here was just delightful. We absolutely loved the lemon garden we had all to ourselves, the grounds of the property are picturesque with a joyful companion of Tommy, Alina and Pistacchio. All is beautifully maintained and the apartment is elegant and cosy. We did appreciate proper mosquito nets, stable and fast internet for working, a proper dedicated workspace, sparkling clean apartment, great kitchen equipment, a garden table with a parasol offering plenty of shade, sun loungers by the swimming pool and a that the pool was kept very clean for us to be able to refresh in it during the hot days. Marcello is so friendly, warm and communicative. He spoilt us with his kind generosity and hospitality that you understand immediately why he is a super host, he really cares about his guests. Thank you so much dear Marcello for making our stay so enjoyable. We hope to be back one day.

An absolutely stunning place! Despite all the glowing reviews, they can’t fully capture the experience of staying here. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a luxurious estate. The grounds and pool are breathtaking, offering a serene and relaxing escape. If you're looking for peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of Lucca and Pisa, this is the perfect place to unwind. The hosts were exceptional, with great communication throughout our stay. Do not hesitate to stay here, can't wait to return soon! Thanks Viola!

A comfortable air conditioned flat with well equipped kitchen, little balconies. It is better than the pictures! We were 4 adults and there were 3 different areas to sleep which worked perfectly for us. Just 1 bathroom is a bit tight. The swimming pool is great! Sightseeing in Tuscany worked very well. Having a car is a must for this property if you want to explore. If I can suggest summer blankets would be a very useful addition. Rest was great. Giorgio was super helpful with suggestions on restaurants and beaches.

A little paradise in Tuscany with the most breathtaking view. We spend alot of the days at the house, swimming in the pool, cooking and generally feeling at home! They surprised us with fresh cherries 🍒 a few times and were happy to explain the beautiful routes you can walk around. We will def be back! ❤️

The property is first class. It is situated very close to Pisa in the country side , and feels very tranquil. The Airbnb has its own private entrance with full use of an outdoor pool set in beautifully landscaped gardens. The interior of the property is extremely well equipped with stylish furnishings. The bedrooms are generously proportioned, each with use of a bathroom and shower and the beds are very comfortable . We found having the use of the private sauna in the Airbnb an added bonus . The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a private patio at the front of the property for use of guests . There is a pizzeria around 5 minutes drive away, and the location is very convenient to explore Pisa & surrounding region of Tuscany. Our visit to the thermal spa at San Giuliano Terme was an amazing experience- located very close by , approx10 minutes away by car. The hosts are friendly and attentive . We recommend this Airbnb if you want a luxurious and private space to enjoy Tuscany.
