Bungalow holiday rentals in Cumbria

The location of the property was brilliant, just a short walk to the beach in one direction and a short stroll to a lovely public park and town centre in the other. My wife, myself and of course, our little labrador, Cleo, loved our stay there. We would highly recommend this holiday cottage to anyone seeking a quiet relaxing holiday break.

Tony’s place was perfect for our group. There was lots of parking for 5 motorbikes and plenty of room inside. We were able to do a load of laundry even. It was easy to walk to a restaurant for dinner and the area was nice and quiet. The night we arrived was cold but the house was nice and warm! Thanks for having us Tony, it was a great stay.

if you like a beach front property then this is ideal. Property was as described clean well presented with great outlook.

Linda and her husband are very welcoming hosts. Quick to respond to any queries. The studio accommodation was delightful and in a wonderful location. I would certainly recommend it and look forward to returning one day.

Great location to explore the area from - we barely had to use the car as there was plenty to explore on our doorstep. The house was roomy and had incredible views! It was very warm and had everything we needed. It could definitely do with a deep clean but was clean enough for a short stay. Other than that we had a great stay!

The location is what makes this place special. To the south of the Alnmouth estuary at the end of a private road in front of mud flats and dunes it is very peaceful. Only disturbance were occasional walkers on the coast path. Easy access to a glorious, enormous, empty beach that stretches for miles. To the North, 45 mins walk to Alnmouth. The barn feels bigger on the inside than it looks in the photos, perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. There is a completely fenced in garden at the front so dogs were safe outside. House in very good decorative condition and communication with Simone was excellent

The property is spacious, but still cosy. It's best feature has to be it's location - situated literally on the coastal path, with great views and just a short walk to a fabulous, huge empty sandy beach. The walk along the beach to Warkworth, with it's castle, bridge and pubs/restaurants is a must.

We had a very peaceful weekend. The patio area in the garden was lovely just to sit and look across the fields. The cottage was immaculate and very spacious rooms. Stuart the host was such a kind person and couldn't do enough for us making sure we had everything we needed. We will be returning in the near future.

Sarah's very comfy and cosy cottage was the perfect place to relax in between selling and buying our new home in Cumbria. We also really appreciated her flexibility in allowing a later check out to fit in with our move. The cottage looks much nicer than the photos! Highly recommended 😊

Lovely house! Ample room to park cars. Close to food + shopping.

A lovely little bungalow, tastfully decorated, well equipped and spotless. Everything as described, very comfortable with an excellent outdoor space. Tea, coffee salt & pepper, oil and a pint of milk to get us started was appreciated as we arrived quite late. A lovely place to stay for a long weekend.

Just spent a lovely mini break in Penrith at Emma’s lovely bungalow. Ideal home for our family of 4. It is in a lovely, peaceful area with a gorgeous, big garden and fabulous views! We took the Stagecoach bus into Keswick (50 mins away by bus), which we enjoyed in the sunshine. Explored Penrith on the 2nd day. Accommodation really homely, comfortable and clean. There were board games for the children to enjoy too. Emma was kind enough to let us check in & leave our bags earlier, which we really appreciated. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the accommodation. Thank you!

Lovely cottage. Loved the private and secure gated parking. Really nice private patio area, with BBQ. Loved the copper bath, luxury 😊 Would definitely love to visit again, for a longer visit next time. Met Jude a few times during our visit and she is friendly and helpful.

Kate and Ryan were very friendly. Their cottage was lovely and the garden was so great for our dogs. Could definitely recommend this place to stay if you want nice and peaceful break.

Easy check-in. Everything was as described, very clean property. Great location. Lovely and quiet, something we were looking for as we were working late shifts on a job in the area. Would definitely stay again.
