Holiday rentals with a home cinema in Cumbria

I think the place is very good, the value for money is very good, the receptionist is super nice.

We booked here for a girlie weekend away. The host was prompt with replies to messages, and any queries we had. The apartment was spacious, big rooms and clean decor. All but 1 bedroom was ensuite, but had the use of the main bathroom as noone else needed to use it. The view onto the gardens outside the front was lovely. We managed to get a sunny weekend so spent sometime out on the grass. Close to city centre and train station 5 minute walk. Overall a great experience and would return. Many thanks 😊

Beautiful place situated in the Main Street , however it’s lovely and quiet with parking nearby- both free on several streets and right next to the paid car park . There is on street 1 hr max parking directly outside the property so you can unload which was really handy . Various pubs / restaurants in the area and only approx 1 mile walk into Bowness . Communication with Jade was brilliant and we loved our PDF guide forwarded upon our arrival , which gave recommendations for eateries and things to do in the area as well as how to use the under floor heating and cinema projector for the TV which I loved . I particularly liked the kitchen hardware and breakfast bar - just lovely detail and touches . A beautiful , very clean and comfortable place which we throughly enjoyed coming back to and we will definitely be rebooking . Highly recommended . Thank you Jade x

A very comfy and cosy retreat for two, has everything you need. Clear instructions to arrive and check in. Absolutely spotless inside. Very comfy bed. Warm. Good shower. Great location to walk to centre of town and to start hiking from. Will definitely stay again!

The host was great & was very responsive throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend if you are staying in Bradford! Plenty of restaurants & ample parking.

We booked 2 nights for a birthday celebration and could not have been happier. The property is absolutely outstanding and there was more than enough room for everyone. The hot tub was a great touch and big enough for us all. We had a lovely time and made it to the beach before high tide. It’s only a 15 min walk to the coast and the village had some nice pubs to get stuck into. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, the screen room made for an excellent Eurovision watching after a day on the coast. We were very well welcomed and felt like no ask was too big or small. Thoroughly enjoyed our days.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Willow Tree Farm. Excellent access to the A1 so an ideal base for exploring. The farmhouse is cosy and private and perfect for taking pets along too! We’ll certainly be back!

Wow! Hannah’s place is beautiful. A gorgeous house and annex surrounded by farmland. The house is so tastefully decorated and the annex an amazing gathering place for fun and games plus an upstairs bedroom with beautiful views. There were 7 or us staying with ample bedrooms, one day more friends arrived and we had a wonderful time with lots of space celebrating my daughter’s forthcoming marriage. Plenty of crockery, kitchen utensils etc in the 2 kitchens. The hot tub was a fantastic end to a wonderful weekend. Took a while to get going but once we mastered it , it was amazing to sit there as the skies darkened and the stars came out , looking over fields and hills as colours changed, perfect. Thank you Hannah for the loan of your gorgeous house. We’ll definitely be back next year. X

We booked the cottage for a month and we loved every minute of our trip. Beautiful remote peaceful environment. A car is essential but it’s worth it if you like to immerse yourself in nature. The house is very comfortable well stocked and roomy. The walks from the house are great. We were blessed with a month of sunshine. Andrea was very helpful. A couple of times the heating dropped off but she resolved it quickly. Great trip. Would highly recommend the cottage.

Jude was a wonderful host, really helpful and made us feel welcome. The place was immaculate and really cosy, we were gutted we weren't staying longer. We'll definitely be looking to book again next time we are in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Our week in this lovely apartment sped by too quickly! It was beautifully decorated with cosy lounges and chairs and very comfortable beds. The kitchen had more than we needed and all appliances were easy to use. The location was faultless - everywhere was so accessible from here! Pubs, cafes and restaurants were just across the road - where we headed after long hikes each day. We felt very sad to leave and look forward to returning one day soon 👍👋❤️

Ahmeds place is simply perfect, very quiet and peaceful yet only a short stroll to busier areas. The apartment is fabulous, very modern yet cosy and comfortable. This place i would highly recommend. We are booking again for Autumn as it was fabulous. The host: Ahmed is a fantastic host. He met us at the apartment and gave us the grand tour. Very flexible with check in/out times. On hand any time if you require anything. All in all, we would give this place 10/10

Needed somewhere to stay for a week to work out of. This location was really nice, soon as you leave the location and walk down the hill your on the Quayside which was super beautiful on the days the sun shined. The room itself was clean and tidy. And was a great space to get a lot of work done during the week. Lots of great food options within walking distance. Loved the stay so much I’m thinking of renting nearby. Would recommend.

We had a lovely time staying in jessica's place! right in the centre of newcastle so it was very close to all the shops, bars and restaurants. The property was lovely too! very bespoke and unique with the bath tub in the bedroom! was a little different - which was nice. nice cinema screen too felt like we were actually at the cinema and very cosy.

We gave 5 stars to Steph based on her hospitality , friendliness and all the information she gave us regarding the local area & points of interest on the continuence of our trip … the room & bath were cozy & clean…. The breakfast setting was lovely & the offering excellent…. We late arriving but we still used her kitchen and she made us tea …we would stay again and recommend her highly … h & a

Mark was a great host, very accommodating. He was quick to respond to any questions and continually checked in on us. The apartment was exactly as described, clean and well equipped. The location was ideal. We will be back.
