Stayed with my friends for a festival, was a short trip to leeds centre, the flat was tidy and had everything we needed, big tv and comfy sofa, key pad entry was convenient, all enjoyed our stay and host was friendly, thank you Kim 😊

Margaret is a great host. The description of the studio was spot on. Very compact, self contained and spotlessly clean. We used it for a New Years break and it was within good walking distance to the town. Communication from Margaret was excellent.

The place was clean, and the host was really kind. All I could ask for. It was very walkable and it was close to some great views too.

Came into town from London for a 40th and found this place perfect for a large, extended family travelling together. Great location, easy to find with simple check-in and check-out process! Very clean, with basic amenities, with lots of shops around for any need that may arise. Host was very communicative and quickly responsive to any questions! We would have benefitted from having two sets of keys for a group of our size, but the lockbox system by front door did work well enough - just be aware you need the keys inside the house to lock the door, so if some of your group stay out later the people at home will need to let them in.

I booked to stay for 2 nights, but wish I stayed for longer. The apartment was beautiful, the decoration was modern and simplistic but homely. The location of the property is extremely ideal being right in the city centre and having everything you need within a few minutes walk. The views are amazing- especially on an evening or early morning to catch the sun rise/set! Beautiful skyline. There is a little Bit of outside noise, but nothing major and that the TV doesn’t cover- you can’t hear anything from the bedroom so your sleep is undisturbed. I was greeted at check in and shown around the apartment and the host was quick to respond with any queries I had. It was worth every penny spent. It was a lovely place to have some peace before the new year. Thank you for the lovely stay! I’ll be sure to book again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage, full of European character and history. The vintage dining table, snooker scoreboard, classic furniture, and shelves of books gave the place a warm, nostalgic feel. The cast iron fireplaces in both the kitchen and living room added to the cosy atmosphere, and the bath and shower were beautifully designed and relaxing to use. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into curating such a unique space. Hilary was a thoughtful and welcoming host, easy to communicate with and full of helpful local tips. The only thing to note is the presence of a pet smell and some pet hair, which might be noticeable for those not used to animals. That said, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. We really appreciated the charm and comfort this cottage offered and would happily recommend it to others looking for a peaceful and character-filled escape. Thank you, Hilary, for a wonderful stay!

9 of us stayed for a hen do weekend and it was absolutely spot on! Only a quick uber to the centre. Kieran was very responsive to anything that we needed. The house itself was beautifully decorated and clean, would stay again! Thankyou

Paul's place was spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchen where we could cook our own meals. The house was in a peaceful neighborhood and it was very nice and quiet in the area, about a 15 minute walk, or 4 minutes drive, into town. The single bed in the upstairs room was incredibly comfortable to sleep on. Paul was proactive about sending over instructions on how to get in and quick to respond to my messages. A few minor things to note - we found the dining chairs too tall for the table such that it was difficult to fit our legs under it (worked better without the seating cushions); and the bed in the master bedroom has a raised end which is not apparent from the photos (it was one of the reasons why we chose this house!) and my 6'8'' partner was worried it would be uncomfortable - but the bed actually turned out to be just long enough for him to sleep comfortably. A coffee table would have been useful to have too. Overall a great find, would stay here again.

Comfortable and spacious. Well equipped with things needed whilst away. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and lake. Plus a nice walk up the hill. A good base for visiting the Lake District.

really nice and clean place. nice and warm as well. lots to do if you want to just chill inside. just the bed sheets made my allergies play up a bit but that's the only drawback. I assume it's because of dust.

The Tower Lodge is a beautiful Victorian gatehouse, which is part of Auchencairn House. It sits next to a quiet single track, coastal road on the edge of the estate. The location is private and quiet. It's warm and cozy on the inside. The view from the bedroom window is beautiful over Solway Firth towards Hestan Island. The area around the Lodge is wooded with many birds and other wildlife. Be warned though, as the bathroom is on the fourth floor, when you're down in the kitchen on the first floor, it's quite a climb via a spiral staircase to the bathroom ;-), but that's also one of the joys of this accommodation. We called the Tower Lodge "our little castle" for a week. The area around the Tower Lodge is well suited for outdoor activities. We went on a few coastal hikes near the Tower Lodge and did longer day trips to the Galloway Forst Park.

Great location for the village. There is a little bit of road noise but it didn’t disturb us at all. The bed linen and towels were beautiful crisp white and the beds really comfy. The apartment is really comfortable and has private parking. Gill was super friendly and responsive. We had a lovely few days away. Thank you cor Easter treats too, our 5 year old was made up.

Cosy cottage with lots of character, in central location. Easy access to shops and sites. Could unload outside cottage, and then go to nearby on street parking. Booked cottage for overnight stay for the Taste of the Sea Festival. Exceeded all expectations when discovered that free breakfast was included at nearby cafe.

The apartment was lovely, can not fault it at all. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. Also left plenty of snacks and goodies at the apartment. Would 100% recommend staying here. Wouldn’t think twice about booking again. Was a wonderful stay 👍🏼
