Beachfront holiday rentals in Cumbria

Location location location!! Have spent many a stay in Lytham St Anne’s, this find was one of the best. The host Nikki and Luke and their children were very accommodating and friendly. They go above and beyond for their guests. The home was rather large with a lovely big living room over looking the beach where I would sit for many hours just watching the world go by. The master bedroom had the most comfy large bed (Super king size) we have slept in. The hot tub was extremely clean and lovely and warm. Access to the back garden is private from the kitchen and has a secure gate to ensure our furry friends were safe with the kitchen door open. Overall our 6 night stay was amazing, very relaxed and the best location for the beach, St Anne’s centre and a good leisurely walk along the beach into Lytham to sample a new find “Savannah's” restaurant. Would definitely recommend a stay with Nikki and Luke. 👍🏻

We had a fantastic stay!! My children loved having a sleepover at someone else’s house after a day at the beach! Kenny was fabulous at answering Questions I had prior to my visit and whilst I was there! Would absolutely stay again! Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay In Cleveleys, the house is in a great spot, close to the beach and within reach of all of the amenities the town has to offer.

Fabulous stay in a lovely caravan with beautiful sea view. Debbie was a great host and texted us to let us know when dolphins were on the way. Such a great place to relax or explore Northumbria. We weren’t lucky enough to see the dolphins or seals this time but saw some pretty sea birds and wild hares. Well-equipped, comfy caravan with everything you need and some extremely thoughtful extras… cupcakes, Prosecco and even dog treats.

What can we say other than what a great find….. well that’s just the start, Deborah was a lovely host, the place was beautiful, spotless and very conveniently located for the beach, town and other local amenities. On top of that we could take our dog……

Excellent 3 day stay at the lodge. A welcoming heat as we opened the door although we arrived on a bright sunshine day... First impression was clean and airy although lodge would benefit from a thorough deep clean. Nicely decorated throughout; even the summerhouse that we enjoyed and relaxed for an afternoon until the chill set in early evening. Hot tub large and conveniently positioned right outside glass door from main bedroom. Not as well equipped kitchen as other properties but that did not cause any issues. We did have to buy basics; salt, pepper, oil, cling film, tissues however the write up clearly states there are no local services so come prepared! Beds very comfortable although windows will benefit from black out curtains as the slatted blinds did not protect against the early morning sushine!!

5 stars for this maisonette holiday accommodation, Home form home Everything and more you need to cook with Love the dishwasher a new for me. The TV has Netflix and prime logged on as a bonus which I found a very kind gesture. Hot water and heating system is at its best The bed and bedding is comfortable and high quality off fixtures and fittings throughout the house. From hand and bath towels to toilet Rolls to Hand soap this is above expectations that most holiday accommodation offers The combination microwave was fantastic and even down to the automatic no touch bin. It was warm and homely. The garden is very secure and safe for dogs and even a hose pipe to wash down sandy dogs in garden. We will definitely book again. A credit to Andrew the host.

we had a fantastic few nights in flosh caravan. we only used it as a base whilst travelling so can't comment too much on the location however the accommodation was definitely suitable for our needs.

Booked a little break at Linda's caravan on Airbnb. Kids absolutely loved the caravan. Linda was very responsive and helpful when needed. The weekend went far too quickly. Will 100% book again and would recommend to anyone.

We loved this little lodge, the scenery was perfect. The kids loved going in the lake and feeding the ducks. A Perfect little holiday spot for what we needed, some peaceful relaxation. Best lodge location on the park!

We had a lovely couple of days at the caravan, the view was lovely. We really enjoyed the sunset and also watching how far the tide went out. As well as watching the ferries come in and go out again. The beds were really comfortable and the heating was easy to use. Having the large grassed area just outside was lovely for the child to run about on but within view. I would recommend for a family and those wanting a step back from the hustle and bustle.

Second stay at this beautiful caravan that once again did not disappoint. Lovely, comfortable, homely caravan in the most peaceful spot on a great site. We can not get enough of the amazing views of the sea, right outside the caravan. Sitting out on the balcony is one of our most favourite things to do here, with also the quick walk to the beach to paddle in the sea and make sandcastles with the children. Our children absolutely loved staying here again withe plenty to do on the site and wonderful surrounding places to visit. Lots of lovely personal touches in the caravan that make it feel very welcoming. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We loved our stay at Signal House. House is absolutely beautiful. It’s in such a lovely location with fantastic views along the coastline. Easy to walk into Amble or along coastal path in both directions. House amazing, spotlessly clean. We hope to come back some time. Thankyou Tracey for a great stay x

This place is very beautiful and my family and I liked it very much. The place is very clean and tidy and everything is available in it. We will go there again soon.

Absolutely gorgeous place. We loved being on the lake and and having access to it. Vanessa gave loads of recommendations and communicated well. Pictures matched the place. Wouldn't hesitate going back.

We had a great time here. Everything was as described, clean and in working order. The hot tub was great as was the location of the cabin right next to the small beach, swimming pool and bar. Place was very clean and had everything we needed. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of space for everyone.

Daniel's place was much larger than expected inside. The large bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor were very useful for someone with mobilty issues. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped with a separate eating area. Upstairs, the bedrooms and bathoom/s were well decorated and spacious. The bed I slept on was very comfortable. The house was in a quiet street, within 5 minute walking distance of a tram stop, the Jubilee Gardens and the north promenade for walking, cycling etc. Perfect. A great place to explore Blackpool and its surroundings.

We had a lovely few days and the apartment was lovely and thank you for the welcome pack as well. Deffo come back.Could do a mirror in the bedroom and the mattress was al little uncomfortable.

We loved our stay in the cottage and being back in Kippford. Beautiful views out of the front bedroom windows. The house was well equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay. The ice cream from the village shop was a huge hit with our children!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautifully renovated home in Morecambe. The house was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. It’s in a fantastic location—just a short walk to the beach, promenade, and local shops. The host was friendly and communicative, and check-in was seamless. One thing to be aware of is that the house is located opposite a pub, which can be quite loud in the evenings. It didn’t bother us too much, but it might be something to consider for lighter sleepers. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and convenient base by the sea!

if you like a beach front property then this is ideal. Property was as described clean well presented with great outlook.

Lovely stay at Marie’s place, has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Located on a nice quiet road close to local amenities, will definitely be back. Marie is amazing always on hand to help and very fast replies to any questions!

We had a lovely Easter weekend at Patty's Barn staying in the Purple Pheasant. This really is a special place for a peaceful holiday with beautiful nature trails and coastal walks close by. There's some child friendly activities on site via a games room and football and rugby pitches. The accommodation was very clean to a high standard and communication with Michelle was easy, warm and friendly. My advice is to visit Scorton nearby for a nice family day out - Cockerham itself it small and its a shame the local pub has closed but there is a fantastic brewery - a short 5 mile drive.

What a lovely home! Great location for exploring not only Newbiggin by the Sea, but the Northumberland coast in general. Very clean house, great amenities everything you need for a few days away from home. The View! I could sit by the window all day looking out at the bay. So nice to have a walk down to the beach, especially with the access practically opposite the front door, there is a set of steps down to the beach or an access ramp too, to get to the beach, then the promenade straight into the town centre. We would definitely recommend this airbnb! We ate twice at the cafe straight below the house on the beach front (dinner and breakfast) and it was lovely with great staff. Had fish and chips delivered another night, from The Front chip shop and again, very nice. Thank you for sharing your home!
