We had a lovely stay at this charming little space! The setting was absolutely beautiful – peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing break. The pre-lit hot tub was a real highlight and made the evenings feel extra special, especially at sunset and for star gazing! Our host was great and responsive, even recommending a fantastic local restaurant that ended up being located just down the road. Would recommend for anyone looking to unwind in nature with a touch of comfort.

Lovely stay, great base for our stay in Northumberland. The Lodge was lovely to return to after busy days out, particularly the hot tub! Nicely decorated. Prompt communication with Richard prior to booking, thank you.

Brilliant stay! Accommodation was perfect, pristine, had everything you need. The hot tub was amazing, lots of games and books available to use. The prosecco and chocolate provided on arrival was a nice touch :) Modern tech was great! Was able to login to our Netflix, prime etc. blue tooth speakers were fab too! Mark was very welcoming, informative and responsive! Leisure centre was good - kids loved the pool! Even had a dip in the lake and played in the sand. Pub food was excellent but doesn’t serve food everyday, so check and book! We would love to come again!!

Fantastic lodge and lovely location! Everything you could possibly need is included and it’s decorated beautifully. The only thing I could ask in future is if there was a vacuum net for the hottub as it can get debris in from the surrounding trees.

It was an absolute pleasure to spend 3 nights at Huntercrook Lodge. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful lodge or to the stunning views. The location is excellent with plenty of walks available. The lodge is very well-equipped, impeccably clean and is just so comfortable. The small touches are all there and we were very grateful for the welcome basket, homemade cake and bottle of prosecco. We loved sitting on the veranda or in the hot tub with some drinks taking in the views. We enjoyed walks to Twice Brewed, Hadrian's Wall and Sycamore Gap but spent most of our time enjoying the lodge. Julia and Robin are excellent hosts and I can't recommend a stay at Huntercrook highly enough. I look forward to returning in the future!

Had a great weekend away here for my birthday. Stunning lodge with very large bedrooms and great outdoor space. Hot tub and pool table were fun and there are smart TVs in every room which was a bonus. Plenty of things to do a short drive away, would 100% recommend this lodge for large families or groups of friends.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! As a couple and large dog, we felt very secure and relaxed. The wood fired hot tub was fantastic, and the edition’s sauna was a fantastic bonus. Lots of great walking routes within a short drive away, too. The finishing touches like the welcome paper a guidebook show real care and consideration for their guests. We’d love to come back!

We stayed at Kate’s cabin for two nights and it was lush. We wanted to escape from our normal lives and the five acres of gorgeous land helped us do just that. The sounds of nature were beautiful to wake up to in the morning and the hot tub was amazing for some night time gazing (no stars for us unfortunately). We had one day where it was blazing sunshine and sitting out on the chairs on the porch was so serene. It had more than you need in terms of facilities and amenities, kate you really have thought of just about everything. Everything about our stay was lovely and we can’t wait to come back!

Jacks lodge was very clean, quiet and cosy. It’s also had everything you could need in there. Also Jack provided clear instructions on the location of the lodge as there are a few. It’s a good location to the Lake District and perfect for walkers and dog owners. My dog loved the lake and walk by the beach which was within 5 minutes of the lodge. And lake Windermere just an hour away. I would love to visit again sometime.

From the moment we arrived we felt completely at home here. Paul and Julie welcomed us so warmly and with such enthusiasm and humour, explaining all the features of this amazing cabin they have created. We loved the semi outdoor kitchen, the firepit, eating outside overlooking the pond with its moorhen family. We also enjoyed a short walk from the cabin to a couple of waterfalls. The separate bathroom is well equipped and the shower is lovely and hot. The bed is comfy with a delightful view over the field and the trees opposite. Its so peaceful and quiet with just the sounds of birds and sheep! This is truly an idyllic place to stay, we didn't want to leave! Paul and Julie are brilliant hosts, full of ideas of things to do in the local area, and the accommodation has many thoughtful touches to make the experience as pleasant and interesting as possible. We totally recommend this countryside cabin!

The lodge and surroundings were absolutely lovely—comfortable, well-maintained.The view from the lodge is wonderful.excellent amenities provided. Proper instructions were given by rob.There is a play area and stream.Kids had a wonderful time We hope to return in the future and will gladly recommend the lodge to everyone.

Absolutely amazing stay here, just what we needed to get away from city life, scenery was beautiful, hot tub was amazing, very clean, we just loved every second of it, we didn't want to come home! Thank you Catherine for having the prosecco and banners up for us on arrival , it was a lovely suprise for my partners birthday. We will definitely be back!

Out of all the places that we rented every time we come to Lake District this is by far the best one. The view is so incredible I didn’t even mind it was raining the first day, I just sat on the porch listening to the rain. Thanks for having us We’ll definitely come again.

We had a wonderful 5 day stay! The caravan was perfect for our family of four (plus our dog) — cozy, spacious, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. What really stood out was the incredible attention to detail, especially for our pup — treats, a towel, and even a blanket were waiting for her. It was so heartwarming and showed how much care went into everything. Our host was amazing — Sam sent us great recommendations in advance for places to eat and things to do, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The fresh flowers and duck food left for us were such a lovely surprise — it truly felt like a personal and welcoming experience. We’re so grateful and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, pet-friendly getaway!

Nice comfortable stay, ample space and good location. Definitely recommend if staying in Windermere for a short vacation.

Fantastic and very well located. Perfect for people who want a few days away from home and very lovely area filled with a beautiful farm view. The host was welcoming and friendly. I would recommend going.

The Glamping pods were lovely to spend a couple of days there, beautiful interior and privacy when wanting to be outside in the hot tub. Hot tub was prepared ready for us when we checked in and everything inside was clean and prepared for us. Would definitely come back again.

We loved this little lodge, the scenery was perfect. The kids loved going in the lake and feeding the ducks. A Perfect little holiday spot for what we needed, some peaceful relaxation. Best lodge location on the park!

Had an amazing stay at the pod! The place was spotless when we arrived, very private and peaceful. Can’t express how nice the pods are will defiantly book again but for a full weekend

Lovely experience staying in Woodpecker Lodge, it had everything we needed. It was private and scenic, clean & comfortable accommodation. Nicely decorated and had lots of finishing touches such as delicious homemade fruitcake on arrival & milk for tea & coffee.

Such a beautiful location and place to stay. David couldn’t have been more helpful and was always happy to light the fire for the hot tub so it was ready for us getting back. Would highly recommend as a place to be able to switch off completely. Couldn’t fault it as all.

Shirleys accommodation is excellent. The property is well laid out, is a private location and has everything that caters for your needs. Would certainly recommend this accommodation. Also would recommend Shirley as an exceptional host, being very inviting and during our stay, providing us with a lift to retrieve our vehicle several miles away having attended a wedding the previous day. Communication with Shirley throughout the booking process up until the point we vacated was excellent. If in the area again we will certainly be looking to book.
