Beams Cottage is stunning. The views across the bay are delightful. We spent most mornings sitting outside staring at the sea, the mountains and the little islands. Our 5 1/2 year old son loved looking for boats and birds. Stephanie & Jordan were fabulous hosts and provided helpful info to make our stay smooth. They provided great local recommendations and the house was stocked with lovely design oriented books and magazines about Scotland and Skye. The space itself is comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The beds were great, the bathrooms well-appointed, the kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of room for a group of 3 to 4 to comfortably enjoy the space. Coming back after a day's adventures felt like returning home. Only slight quibble was how bright the loft was in the am. Little kiddos may arise early! The location is gorgeous, but fairly remote to many parts of the island. So be prepared to drive a bit. Happily, the drive to the main road is spectacular.

Karen's pod is beautiful. Very cozy and clean with lots of wee extras. The view from the decking is amazing. Lovely toilets and showers a short walk away. Karen is really nice and we managed to get a wee chat with her. We will be booking again soon.

We had an incredible stay at Byre 7. The rental is a perfect size for 2, and the hosts thought of every detail to make our stay incredibly comfortable. We had big plans to explore Skye but ended up enjoying the views from the patio and walking along the quiet single track roads to the beach. Thanks Sally for an amazing stay!

I always choose to stay in a traditional place that exudes the energy&environment of the place I am visiting.These days harder& harder to find,so I am so glad I found Calim’s amazing flat.Even better in person! I truly felt I was in the City of Edinburgh! &so many special touches…from the beautiful large wood&glass bookcases filled W/Classics& amazing rare books,Beautiful chandeliers,lovely orig. hardwood floors,furnishings&shutters W/best view of Royal mile, grand portraits of kinfolk, whimsical discoveries around every corner (dinosaur on bookcase ledge, artistic animals, humorous, antique postcards)….to very practical things; little sewing kit, market bag, fully stocked kitchen&bath, homemade shortbread&welcome pack, to honor bar.Calim has thought of everything!! &great communication begin2end. I would have to say this is the best place this single retired Solo female has stayed -2wks- base 4visitg:Glasgow/St Andrews/Stirling/Highlands:Balmoral/Glamis.U do need be fit. No Lift!

This was a beautiful place with unbeatable views! We loved looking out the window at the water- and one evening we even saw horses nearby. The cabin is cozy and comfortable with an amazing shower. (My husband said it may be the best shower pressure he’s experienced in a long time!). Rebecca was very friendly and proactively checked in us. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Stephanie didn't promise too much. A lovely apartment: so cosy and comfy. Everything fits together. The furnishment is in the same color as the laundry, the plates fit to the cups. Incredible. From the bed you have also a view to the green as from the kitchen table. There is also a lovely sofa next to the oven, where you can sit by a fire after a long day. You have the opportunity to cook on a gas stove, there is a big fridge even with a freezer for tour own food, also a kettle and a toast machine is available. The bed is comfy, and you can sleep wonderful there, as it is peaceful and quiet. The dog is friendly and happy to cuddle and play. There are wine and jam to buy (selfmade) for a fair price and the appartment is very very clean. Kind of a fairy apartment. You have a view into the green (fits to the inside). Your car parked can enjoy the sea view, and no wishes were open. At least for us. We enjoyed it really and want to come back one day.

You absolutely must book a stay at Kate's place! I recommend at least two nights because it’s an experience you won’t want to miss. We were sad to leave! Swimming in the loch was breathtaking, and having access to kayaks was a wonderful bonus. The cozy stove kept the cabin warm and inviting, and waking up to that stunning view was nothing short of magical! This is a place we’ll be returning to for years to come.

This was my absolute favourite stay of our trip! Beautiful scenery and views, and the tree goose itself is just absolutely perfect! Super clean with great amenities. The shower is perfect 👌 The bed was super comfortable! And it was lovely just to watch the birds in the surrounding trees. There is quite a walk up to the tree house which is well described in the details, just as an FYI for people to read that bit 😉 We will definitely be booking again!
