One of the most serene and breathtaking destinations I’ve had the joy of experiencing in recent times. Tucked away just an hour’s drive from Trivandrum, this gem sits close to the road, yet feels miles away from the chaos of the world. Because there’s not much development around, what you hear is not traffic or noise — but the gentle, hypnotic melody of the river flowing by. And when it rains… the entire landscape transforms into something straight out of a dream. The property is alive — vibrant, green, and lovingly cared for. Every corner feels like it has a story. The house is a true beauty — charming, rustic, yet tastefully kept. It has all the essentials: a cozy kitchen setup, a neat washroom, and ample space for a group to unwind. But this isn’t the kind of place you come to party. It’s a sanctuary. A space meant to be respected and relished for its raw.

The place is easily accessible by Taxi Has all basic stuffs for a short stay Sam has put his personal touch to help you discover Madurai. Nice breakfast to discover authentic local food. Earthen hut is an amazing, peaceful place. Openness to nature makes this place a beautiful and unique experience. The best part of the stay or magic happened after the sunsets, hut lit up under moon light, watching sky, counting stars, identify planets, patterns was fun, lucky to see few lightening. Little rain and birds chirping sounds was a added therapy to the mind and soul. Rain made the farm lush green and pleasant. The Hut is inside an Cashew orchards, private and safe. Swiggy and local transport are available hence food and transport was not an issue. Auroville and surrounding places should be experienced by people living in the city. We loved our stay in Earthen hut, didn't realise how 3 days passed. We carry lot of sweet memories to cherish and love to visit again.
