“This is one of the best AirBNBs I have stayed at in my travels. The place has an amazing grounds keeper, a dedicated kitchen with a reverse osmosis machine, decent internet, hot showers, and comfortable beds. I feel you would probably be hard pressed to find a better AirBNB in Kochi. The AirBNB is the entire second floor of the house. The area is pretty quiet but you can get everywhere quickly via Uber or Ola. Kochi is a very comfortable place to stay longer term in general as you have access to an international style mall. You can get to Kochi Fort which is the hip touristy district in about 30 minutes with Uber/Ola. We were also there during the covid lockdown and I have to say that if there was a place where you would want to be stuck while under lock down in India during a global pandemic, this would be it. While we were there we were fortunate enough to have the parents of the airBNB host on the first floor and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and we were really blessed by their presence.”
A peaceful home right by the river. Walk barefoot on the dewy grass in the morning, steal a nap on the swing in the afternoon, and enjoy the lush green surroundings once the sun goes down and the weather gets cool. Sounds idyllic? It really is! Thanal Villa is most ideal for families to take a break and relax in the midst of nature. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is accessible for cooking.
“This is the first time I shared my experience of staying. I really appreciate and am happy to live in this villa. This was our first place to stay after we got off the plane and arrived at the airport in the middle of the night. Stanley helped us arrange a driver transfer. This trip is our sister's trip, the place to live is very quiet, there are no foreigners, so that we have enough time to integrate and experience the life of kerala. Within six days, three days of Ayurveda and one day of small tours were arranged. Unlike the tourist attractions, we sat in dudu cars and saw many private attractions such as the 500-year-old tree and the lake. Really thanks to Stanley and caretaker venu for their warm hospitality! Super recommended to come here!”
Situated at the heart of Fort Kochi, Our home is very near to all the tourist attractions in the area.
“We booked Antony and Rincy's Coconut Grove homestay for one night and it was very pleasant stay overall. The house is surrounded by lush greenery, coconut trees and plantain trees. The room was a bit small than I had pictured after looking at photos but it was still very comfortable and neatly maintained. Towels and toiletries were laid out, water bottle was provided and we had a cupboard to store belongings. Bathroom had a good shower and very clean. Rincy offered to make us fresh lemonade as soon as we reached the home late evening. She provided us a map of Fort Kochi and explained the major attractions to visit and how to reach. The next day morning, we had the most delicious breakfast of fresh pineapple juice, pathiri (a thin rice pancake), vegetable stew and hot coffee prepared and beautifully presented by Rincy. For a homestay, the hospitality and care provided was of hotel standard. All major attractions are within 10 minute walkable distance, the beach is a 15 minute walk. As we had a night bus, we were able to store our luggage in the hall of the homestay. Rincy even offered her own home for me to freshen up before leaving for my bus since the next guests had already arrived for the other rooms. I would absolutely recommend this homestay for anyone visiting Fort Kochi.”
