Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lucca

We hebben een week doorgebracht in het huis van Stella en Tessa. Het is een sfeervol en authentiek ingericht appartement. Het ligt tussen de bergen omringd door olijfbomen maar steden zoals Lucca en Florence liggen niet ver weg. Het huis was heel schoon en lekker koel bij warme temperaturen. Er is voldoende schaduw rondom het huis. We hebben een kookles bij Stella gevolgd, dit was leerzaam en heel gezellig. Stella bedankt voor je vriendelijkheid, de heerlijke Italiaanse gerechten en je tips over de omgeving. Groeten, Margret en Toin

The house was comfortable, spacious, well equipped. It was very peaceful to relax, wine and dine outside the house overlooking the beautiful sunset view of Tuscany vineyards. Veronica was friendly, responsive and gave us lots of recommendation to go around. Her mom welcomed us when we arrived, walk us through the whole place. She even gave us a bottle of wine! Veronica's parents live next door to the property which was very helpful when we have some questions. Her dad helped us hose down the dirt on our car wheels.

Wow, wow, wow! We totally enjoyed our stay at Eleonara‘s house! We arrived and her son explained everything to us and showed as the whole apartment. You‘ll find everything there for your daily needs. It’s absolutely the same as on the photos and we also were able to use the washing machine as well as the dryer. I loved the backyard the most - it’s so beautiful and decorated with an attention for details! Just in case someone cares: The street is next to the house why it could get a little bit louder, especially during the rush hours But we didn’t care about that little fact and the longer we stayed, the less we recognized it. Eleonora and her family are so kind, friendly and lovely people! Thank you so much for everything and our great stay! Absolutely recommend!

Everything was absolutely perfect! ⭐️ Location: Ideal base for exploring Tuscany — you’re right in the heart of it all. Whether you’re heading to Florence, Pisa, or the charming hill towns, everything is within easy reach. House: Well-equipped and comfortable, with all the listed amenities in perfect working order. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

Ilaria's home and garden make you feel like you are "Sitting on Top of the World". Like in the Walter Vinson and Lonnie Chatmon song. Time flew in Perpoli, like the swallows in the clear blue sky that embraced the mighty mountains at the horizon. The house is intimate, like the village whereas the garden is a never ending story. Ilaria is a super friendly host who was easy to communicate with and (together with her father's art) has given this place a piece of magic. No doubt we would love to come back

Het prachtige vossen huis overtrof onze verwachtingen volledig. Het was ruim opgezet, knus, brandschoon en een echt prachtige plek midden in de natuur. Betty & Roberto waren super aardig en behulpzaam en elke morgen werden we verrast met een heerlijk ontbijtje. Het was een geweldige en unieke ervaring! Dankjewel hiervoor 🙏🏻

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Our stay at Marina and Paolo’s hilltop home in the Tuscan hills was nothing short of magical. The house is a true piece of paradise, immaculately clean, with breathtaking views that left us in awe every day. Marina and Paolo were incredibly kind hosts, making us feel completely at home. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the entire experience immersed us in the charm of Tuscan life. We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!

Wunderschön in der Natur gelegene Unterkunft in den Bergen weit weg vom Trubel. Super sauber und sehr gut ausgestattete Unterkunft. Traumhaft schöner Garten und toller Pool. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne nochmal wieder.

Giuliani is a wonderful host who made us feel as if this slice of paradise was our home, too. The location, the meticulously restored home, the views all make for the ultimate Tuscan experience. But Giuliani and her husband bring it all together with their warmth and attentiveness. It was a tough place to say goodbye to — for now. If you are looking for a Tuscan experience, this is it. And remember to ask for the hosts’ home-cooked meal. It is a culinary experience in the very best sense.

We had the most wonderful stay at Olga’s place. We had 6 adults and two children and there was still plenty of space. The house was beautifully appointed and the outdoor space with the view was the perfect place to relax.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Die Kommunikation war reibungslos und die Gegend einfach ein Traum! So grün, so entspannt - wir konnten uns total entspannen und haben es sehr genossen. Wir kommen wieder, vielen Dank für alles.

Il Paluffo was a beautiful place in the Tuscan hills. Stilla, our accommodation, was relaxing and provided most everything we needed. The views were amazing and the staff friendly. The highlight of our stay was the cooking class with Monica. She was a burst of energy and patient as she guided us through a 4-course meal. It was absolutely delicious and plentiful. I would stay a Il Paluffo again and recommend to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at Juri's beautiful villa in Tuscany! The place is super spacious, easily accommodating our group of 11, and it was spotless and very well maintained. Juri and his mom were incredible hosts—always responsive and ready to help whenever we needed anything. The location is also perfect for day trips to Florence, Pisa, and Lucca. If you're looking for a charming, well-kept and very clean villa with top-notch hospitality, this is the place. Highly recommend! Let me know if you'd like any tweaks!

We hadden een geweldig verblijf bij Fransesca! Het is een prachtige locatie, ideaal om tot rust te komen. Fransesca is heel vriendelijk en is zeer behulpzaam. We hebben mogen proeven van de lekkere honing. We raden dit verblijf zeker aan!

Loved our stay in Lucca, wished we had planned more time. Our stay was lovely and the location was perfect. Very walkable to the places we wanted to see and loved the communication with our hosts.

Anna’s apartment was absolutely dreamy it felt like stepping back in time. She paid attention to even the tiniest details, carefully preserving original paints and walls, which gave the space a truly unique glamour. Anna herself was so friendly, flexible, and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. It was the perfect weekend getaway to detox and unwind from busy city life. Highly recommend!

The apartment was perfect for our needs . Great location inside the wall , close to restaurants, shops and sight seeing. We were also lucky to have the use of 2 bicycles, which made it wonderful for viewing the outer wall of Lucca

Wat een fijne plek! Andrea heette ons welkom en vertelde over het appartement, de voorzieningen en had tips voor leuke restaurants. het appartement was heerlijk ruim, van alle gemakken voorzien en perfect gelegen in Lucca. Net niet in de grote drukte, maar in 2 minuten sta je in het bruisende hart van Lucca. Genoten van onze dagen hier. het contact met Stefania was heel prettig en vlot. Om terug te komen....

Stayed at Andrea's condo for a month, and can't say enough abut how great it was. Well-furnished kitchen, super clean overall, and just a mere 10 minute bike ride ( I rented a bike down the road for the month) to the Lucca wall, the train station, and the Coop supermarket. There is a great bakery (Forno Ghilardi), a butcher, and Trattoria "Da Ildo" less than 10 minutes walk. Cycling into the nearby hills a visiting the outlying villages was great, and the locals are very cycling friendly. Lucca itself has so much to offer in terms of cuisine, the arts, and sights, and even though it is a tourism mecca, it has to be one of the friendliest cities I've ever visited. For down time, my favorite thing was gilling in the yard at Andrea's place and enjoying dinner al fresco in a quiet neighborhood with views of the surrounding mountains and meadows. I can't recall why I chose Lucca in the first place, but staying at Andrea's was definitely the right choice, and I will come back.

Giulia's place is spectacular with a great view of an historic courtyard from all the windows, and a private courtyard for entry. Open the gate and you're in the center of the most exciting street in Lucca. There were some understandable sewer issues (toilet emits sewer gases which dissipate when windiws are left open) for such an ancient establishment. Make sure to read the house rules for arrival times. Checkin is pretty flexible if you work it out in advance, but you need to check in before the gate of the courtyard is locked. Our train was delayed due to a train fire which caused an unavoidable delay, and we were charged a fee to meet and get the key after 7:30. Well worth it for the lovely stay, but just be aware. Italy's trains may run late, and flexible check in is necessarily impacted by gate closure. Lucca is delightful if you love history, and Giulia's place lets you stay in a lovely historic unit.

You have to climb some steep steps, but the serenity and charming town and rooftop views were worth it! And the extra steps offset all the great food. Super comfortable, charming and helpful host.
