Cottage holiday rentals in Kitty Hawk

This place was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy Memorial Day weekend with friends! Clean, clutter free, and the hot tub was awesome for an early morning soak or late night kick back. About a 15 minute walk from the beach and located in a quiet neighborhood. Also, very short 1-minute drive to large grocery stores. The hosts were communicative and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if visiting OBX.

Our family had the best time at Easy Breezy. Alex had thought of everything when it comes to a vacation home and I can't even put into words how peaceful it was. We kayaked, paddle boarded, fished , napped, sun bathed on the dock and enjoyed the hot tub which was an amazing perk. We caught 6 crabs and some ocean perch. This place had everything you could want and we didn't want to leave. It was by far the best rental we have ever stayed at. Our dogs even had a blast!

Marks place is a perfect location- just a short (5 minute) walk to the beach and to the shops. The house was well equipped with everything you could need plus amenities. My group really enjoyed the hottub and heated pool. Mark was also responsive to any questions and concerns!

Overall a very well taken care of house. Loved the space for everyone. Easy access to shops and the beach. Overall a great place to be.

We had an excellent stay as a group of 8 adults. The home offered great access to a semi-private beach, just a short 5-minute walk away. Kendra was proactive and clear with her instructions, making check-in and our overall experience smooth and stress-free. The neighborhood was very quiet, providing a relaxing atmosphere, yet still conveniently located with shops just a short drive away. After long days at the beach, the hot tub was a refreshing bonus. This home is perfect for both families and adult groups—highly recommended!

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. The patio is incredible, it goes up above the roof where you can see the ocean. The walk to the beach is short, but you do either have to use stairs or go up a steep hill to access it. That was fine for us, but could see it being a challenge for the less able bodied. The surrounding neighborhood is cute and is very quiet which we appreciated, and is nearby to a lot of great restaurants. It’s not very walkable but very quick drive to anything you need. Only negative was we thought there would be bikes but there weren’t any (as far as we could find) but that was ok, we still had a great time! We would definitely stay again.

We had such an amazing time here! She was quick to respond and the place was beautiful! The backyard was perfect for our toddler to play in and I really appreciated that there was a baby gate for upstairs. We will definitely be coming back!

Had a great stay at Maria and Steve's! Place was clean and as listed. Only tricky part was the house is across the highway from the beach access which meant having to drive and find parking or cross a very busy road.

So glad this listing was available definitely exceeded my expectations. It’s hard to find a home so accommodating to the fur babies. I was floored walking into a clean home fully stocked with all the amenities plus. It was like staying in a hotel with the feeling of being at home. Hands down the best beach stay ever totally recommend and hopefully I get that chance to visit again.

We really enjoyed staying at Chad’s place. It was very clean and comfortable and we felt like we were in a tree house with all the beautiful trees outside the windows. We loved the porches and the close proximity to restaurants and the beach. Chad was very friendly and responsive. We definitely will be staying again.

We had a wonderful stay! The description was accurate and Danielle provided everything that we needed for our trip to go easy. She communicates so well and the house is beautiful with an easy walk to the beach.

Great Place and a Great Host!

Perfect location, had everything we needed for a long weekend. Screened in porch and outdoor shower were great!

We absolutely loved our stay in southern shores! This lovely cottage is a 2 min stroll to the beach on a quiet dead end road and a 10 min bike ride into the town of duck! We enjoyed the peaceful beach as well as the wonderful screened in porch to start and end each day! The beach toys and bikes were a great addition! We can’t wait to come back for another visit!

This cottage was SO cute. It is in a good location with a very short walk across the street. The street is not super busy because it’s not the main busy road going through town. The cottage was clean, comfortable beds, shower amenities provided and even coffee pods. Sarah was SO nice and responsive to questions we had. We would stay here again.

Beautiful home in a lovely part of Duck! Perfectly located between a short walk to the beach or steps into town. The home is comfortable and modern, and check in and check door were easy. Lovely stay!

This is my second time staying at one of Michaela’s properties & we will plan to again! She is an excellent host who puts so much care in to every detail. Just when you think you may have forgotten something handy, she already has it stocked for you to make things easy (beach gear, chip bag clips, ziplocks… these little things that other Airbnbs just don’t take the care to have on hand). Not only was the house exceptionally clean, she also had little touches like stocking the den with games and children’s books by a local author/illustrator which our son loved! Her recommendations were great and allowed us to enjoy OBX without any need for pre-planning. Michaela is a responsive, thoughtful, and kind host and we are thrilled to have spent another summer at one of her spots.

Excellent accommodations. Great central location and just a quick walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again. Just right for 2. Anymore than 2 would be tight.

What a charming, impeccably clean and ultra comfortable home in our favorite Duck community, The Sanderling! We couldn't have been happier :-) The home was just perfect for our small group..the furniture was modern, clean and decorated with class. And, the kitchen was quite well stocked for our family who very much appreciates engaging in home cooked meals. The laundry machines were brand new and convenient being on the ground floor. We loved having everything on one level and of course...never missed an early morning sunrise and sunset across the street at the Sanderling dock! A magical time indeed - thank you Mark, for everything!

This was our second time staying, and enjoyed every minute! The house was perfect for family of four with two young kids (3 and 6). Easy walk to the beach, enough space to stretch out and play, and on a quiet street. Highly recommend!

This home was wonderful we had a fantastic stay! It was about at 20 min walk to the public beach access which I personally found pleasant since you can walk around and see things to do on the way. The neighborhood was very quiet and pleasant to walk through. There is a Publix super close aswell it's about a 10ish minute walk! the actual home was very clean and exactly as shown in the photos. The couches were very cozy, and the kitchen was great. When they say they have kitchen supplies they mean it!! They had lots of utensils, and pots, and pans, and seasonings and even a bread maker which we definitely took advantage of! They also provided board games and the TVs had streaming services so lots of entertainment in the home! Overall this was a fantastic little place and we'd be thrilled to return!
