Apartment holiday rentals in Kitty Hawk

The calm waves is super cozy and has everything a family with young kids needs (including some toys and baby proofing). It is in a great location that feels very family friendly and short walk to the beach and restaurants. This was our second stay and we hope to visit again!

This place is great! Close to everything, the pool is right across from the apartment, the beach is so close, and so many wonderful food options within minutes. The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed!

Lisa's place is absolutely great. It is very well decorated and clean. We felt just at home when we arrived. Even the extra touches such as the provided snack bin and all the extra toiletries in the bathroom were just a great extra touch. The building was quiet and had plenty of parking. We would stay here again.

Incredible location and views (of sunrises and sunsets); great for kids! There was a problem with the storm door that Katie herself came by to fix when maintenance was unavailable on a holiday weekend :) The place was clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the pool was great (opening weekend and very clean). The only thing to note is that this might not be a great place for you if you're sensitive to noise - there was a wedding at one of the huge houses one night under a tent and we could hear every song they played, as well as footsteps from the people staying above us. This isn't a make or break for us, and we would stay at Katie's place again in a heartbeat.

This place is perfect! The condo is beautifully decorated, and in a perfect location. We enjoyed walking to Jockey's Ridge and the sound beach. The pier is the perfect place to catch the sunset. It was convenient to coffee shops and restaurants, we opted to Uber to dinner one evening and had no trouble at all getting a ride. Even though it was a complex, the back patio area felt very private. Wonderful stay, definitely plan to check availability the next time we visit the OBX.

Just got back home & wishing we could have stayed longer!! This unit was a great location. Not only oceanfront but first floor 👌 Our daughter loved having the pool right there and were just a few steps from the beautiful beach. We are already thinking ahead for next summer and can't wait to book this unit with George again!

Salty shenanigans was a light piece of heaven. Condo was exactly as described and extremely clean. Kate was wonderful providing us recommendations for a local restaurants and shopping excursions. Beach and pool just steps away (what more could you ask for!). Had an amazing time, would book again.

Great place to stay during our visit to Kitty Hawk. Quiet neighborhood. Pavlo’s place was very clean. Had everything that we needed. We had some issues with the lock and Pavlo was very responsive and helpful.

Lynn's place was comfortable, convenient, and clean. We appreciated how stocked and organized the home was as well. It was an easy walk to the beach. We were spending time with family staying at Corolla Light and this was a very convenient spot to do so.

Emily maintained an open line of communication from before checkin through the day of checkout. She even messaged us to ensure everything was perfect during the stay. Her home is clean and organized, and smelled amazing (love the Pura diffusers!) The amenities are exactly as described. Her home is in a quiet cul-de-sac and within walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. She even gives you personalized recommendations of places to eat and things to do. I would highly recommend her place for your next vacation!!

Waterfront condo is in a perfect location, about 1 mile to the center of Duck and a 2 minute ride to a private beach. Owner provides a beach parking pass. Condo rental was terrific, the owners communicate well so there are no surprises. The Condo itself is open/spacious and super clean. Bikes and comfortable beach chairs are available to renters. The view from the Condo is very peaceful. As well the noise level in the area is non-existent. Truly a great rental. Thank you Michael.

Great value for the price and can't beat the location. Condo is right on the beach and has a larger pool as well. Everything was clean inside and beds were comfortable, it's definitely one of the more updated units at the Golden Strand. The only thing we did not like was the main door opens right into the main bedroom, and if the blinds are open on the sliding door then people can see in the living room as they walk over to the elevator. However this was not a big deal for us as you do get a slight ocean view from the sliding door and we spent most of the time outside anyways.

A beautiful condo in a beautiful location! The furniture was very comfortable and the condo was fully stocked. The living/dining space was bigger than we expected from the pictures which was a nice surprise. The community was peaceful and had tons of opportunities for walking around.

I wanted to take a moment to share some positive feedback about our recent stay. My family and I traveled all the way from Greenville, seeking a relaxing beach experience, and we were not disappointed. The space was wonderfully quiet, allowing us to unwind completely. The amenities provided were absolutely amazing, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. Moreover, I cannot emphasize enough how responsive and caring the team was. Every request we made was addressed on the same day, demonstrating a level of service that truly impressed us. One member of your team, in particular, was awesome in ensuring our needs were met promptly. Thank you once again for making our beach vacation an unforgettable one. This condo was absolutely perfect! Beautifully renovated, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. The ocean views from the living room and master bedroom were stunning, and the location—just steps from the beach and a short walk to Duck’s shops and restaurants—couldn’t be better. The kitchen was fully stocked and a joy to cook in, and the beds (with Kingsdown mattresses!) were incredibly comfortable. We loved the added amenities like sound machines, board games, a washer/dryer, and access to pools and a hot tub. Check-in was easy with keyless entry, and the host was responsive and welcoming. Every detail was considered to make our stay feel like home. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing Outer Banks getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Tara and Janet were so helpful from the beginning and provided the little things to get our vacation started without immediately having to go to the store. The location is exactly as pictured and so close to the public beach parking as well as local restaurants and things to do other than the beach. It was our first vacation in 5 years just the two of us, and The Salty Shrimp gave us everything we needed with the help and hospitality of Tara and Janet. Would definitely return!!

We had a great time at the beach staying here with two toddlers. They loved the bunk beds. It was close enough to the beach and we loved the pool!

What a lovely gem of a home! Perfect location as it was walkable to beach. Very kind to provide beach chairs, wagon, beach towels and beach umbrella. Spotlessly clean. Only surprise was no shampoo/body wash which was unexpected. Otherwise a perfect experience!
