Monthly Rentals in Iowa

Our stay in this little slice of heaven was absolutely perfect. The accommodations were wonderful. The hosts were so friendly. Sparkled and Festus (the farm dogs) were just a joy to have around on the front porch. We had the best time fishing in the farm ponds, and caught a lot of fish! Mary Lynne was so kind and accommodating. She helped me make our check in just a little extra special with birthday balloons and a banner. There were farm fresh eggs and the most delicious homemade sourdough and mulberry jam, in the kitchenette. It was the perfect place to unplug and get away for the weekend.

My Mom, her dog, and I had a great stay at Windy Goat Acres. The host described the property really well, and actually undersells all the creative little corners of the farm. Mom and I were just passing through for a night on a cross country road trip, and we both commented what a fun place this would be for families with small children to visit. The animals are all lovely and seem to be totally comfortable having strangers walking around nearby. It's obvious that their people are devoted to them! Our Yurt was clean, comfortable, and perfectly appointed with everything we needed. Since we have a reactive dog, we always look for spots that are out of the way a bit to keep things comfortable for her. This was perfect!

Beautiful property! We stayed with our four children and felt very comfortable. The space was clean but homelike, very safe, and put us right at ease. Everything about it has a large family country feel so don't mind the sweet hum of family chatter from the house and the coming and going. The swingset was a perfect way to unwind before bed. I would 100% recommend and 100% stay again. Definitely our favorite Airbnb we have stayed at as a family. (We do have TMobile and had minimal or no cell service so I was glad we saved directions ahead of time.)

It was a good place for Memorial Day weekend. Very clean. Included a pack n play and high chair for my son. Loved the out door games in the backyard! Was only 5min from Arnold’s Park and close to the bait shops.
