Lake house holiday rentals in Iowa

We really enjoyed staying right on the lake! I really appreciated that everything was labeled and easy to find along with the welcome basket and personal note that was a nice touch! The extra towels, life vests and amenities were great and everyone in our group commented on how you thought of almost anything people would need. Thank you again and look forward to the next stay!

This Lake View home was awesome!! You immediately feel at home. It has a huge kitchen, big beautiful great room, light filled space, nice beds and has the softest, comfiest, biggest couch to easily seat a whole family! We had a wedding nearby and it was far and above staying in a hotel because we could all be comfortable and together. After an unexpected inconvenience in the house, Brian was very responsive and made everything accommodating for us during our entire stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again when we visit family again in LV!! It’s a beautiful place to enjoy and has everything you need right there for a great getaway!

Michaela’s place was a great getaway for my family and I! We enjoyed the lake pretty much everyday. Michaela was so sweet to bring us a water slide for the kids ! When the internet wasn’t working she came out and dropped off an internet box! The place is cozy! Kitchen was great had everything we needed. We had enough room for us five!

This was a perfect place for us. It had everything we needed and it was great to be right on the lake.

This place was perfect for a weekend get away! Nate was a great host and made sure to answer all questions and be super responsive. The location was great and the whole house was beautiful. We had a wonderful time!

Scott’s place is an absolute hidden gem on Carter Lake! We stayed here for a family wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better home base. The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed — from board games to a fully stocked kitchen to three pristine full bathrooms (a huge help with three men in the wedding party!). The backyard was perfect for making memories: bonfires, fishing, and plenty of space for the kids to run around and play soccer. It easily accommodated our three families, with plenty of room to gather, relax, and stay up late talking and connecting. Everything in the home feels brand new, and it’s clear that a lot of care went into making it welcoming and comfortable. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more downtime to enjoy all the house had to offer. We’ve all agreed — this is officially our new go-to spot whenever we’re back in Council Bluffs for future family events! Thank you, Scott, for such a wonderful stay!

We came to Clarion for my Grandmother’s funeral and the home was a wonderful place to stay. It is extremely clean and organized. The lake was relaxing and while we didn’t use the kayaks, it’s a nice bonus if you get a chance to do so. Would absolutely stay again!

This was the perfect place for our family to celebrate my Mother’s life. The tranquility was healing. We really appreciated the space for family to gather and the children loved all the outdoor space. They have done an amazing job of stocking the house with everything you can think of….games, towels, bathroom amenities, etc.

Melissa's house was perfect! Everything about it was stunning, homey, and cozy. We had a girls weekend there are everyone was amazed at how lovely everything was. We watched the sunset at the lakeside, made dinner, and spent time on the private patio playing games. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay!

Natasha was a great host! Her home was clean, comfortable, and it was clear she thought of even small details to make our stay great! Wonderful location! Awesome deck to grill steaks! Floor plan of house was perfect for our group! You won’t be disappointed! We even had passes to the water park included!

We had the best stay! There was plenty of space to move around and was great for our friend’s reunion! There is everything you would need or want! Plenty of extra blankets and pillows! Check in/out was very easy! Loved being able to use the garage to spend some time while it rained! We had everything we needed and could have wanted!

Loved our stay. 2 days there were 13 of us definitely tested the capacity lots of room. My husband and I added a day , he seldom gets summer vacations. Bring blankets especially if people sleeping on couches. More kitchen stocking if doing a lot of cooking. The house was awesome one level especially the game room extra space. Two sleeper sofa’s would work in there. Lots of room for large groups. Fire pit and pool absolutely great. Patio and two doors on the poolside was very useful. I did call Douglas with a few questions, very accommodating and friendly.

My family loved our stay at Robyn's place, the location is absolutely beautiful, the home has been been beautifully and thoughtfully remodeled with many creature comforts. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. You can tell a lot of love when into curating and decorating this home, my 9 year old called it "so aesthetic", which is a high honor. We hope to visit again!

As I came into Brents home, my smile became larger and larger, as I moved from room to room. It was the perfect place for our family of 10! Kid friendly and Dog friendly! We fished, enjoyed a day trip to Arnolds Park, and loved just enjoying each other in a beautiful home!

We had an amazing stay. The lagoon was beautiful and the kids had fun swimming and fishing. The beds were not the most comfortable and it was 90 degrees the whole weekend so the air conditioner had a hard time keeping up. The house was a minute drive from the boat ramp and 7 minutes from town where there were restaurants, ice cream, coffee shops, a splash pad and many more fun things to do. The amenities were amazing, the house was beautiful and we had a great time.

Teresa was accommodating. Home was nice and clean and homey. Had everything we needed. Will come back again.

Our stay at this beautiful, historic home was better than we could have imagined. The house is a perfect blend of historic home and modern amenities. We all slept so well in the comfortable beds. The home is located within walking distance to City Beach, downtown and all the fun Clear Lake has to offer. Instructions regarding the stay were clear and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay!

This will be a repeat retreat for me! Scenic with a beautiful view of the Cedar River. Jennifer had the house stocked with everything we needed and more!! We felt like we were home which is hard to do!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Boji Bungalow. It’s fabulous, one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at. Highly recommend!!

Great place to stay. Walkable distance to Bridges Bay resort. The home was near a pool and in a cute neighborhood. Stayed there with 14 people total and we were all comfortable! Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at June’s place! It was clean and cozy! It was a great location, able to walk to downtown and swimming beach. Very nice to be able to wake up and take a walk down by the lake. June was responsive and communicated. Would definitely like to stay again soon!

My sister in law and I enjoyed taking our kids on a quick cousins get away! The lake was amazing, and it was really nice to have kayaks! The bikes were also very fun to explore the trails. Our favorite thing was the hot tub on the deck. It was perfect!
