Bungalow holiday rentals in Yorkshire

Tony’s place was perfect for our group. There was lots of parking for 5 motorbikes and plenty of room inside. We were able to do a load of laundry even. It was easy to walk to a restaurant for dinner and the area was nice and quiet. The night we arrived was cold but the house was nice and warm! Thanks for having us Tony, it was a great stay.

Lovely little place. Sea side was short walk over the sand dunes. Outside seating was excellent as my mother in law can't walk much, however she sat on chair on the top of the sand dunes every day watching the sea. My 4 years old daughter loved jumping in the sea, over the waves. Over all it was lovely place to stay even our dog enjoyed walks on the beach (he can be funny about his walks).

Great location on the sea front, approx a mile walk to Heacham or Hunstanton. Great set up for like us a large family with 2 small dogs. The accommodation was faultlessly warm at all times, which was appreciated when coming back from a wet and windy walk. Great utility room to dry your wet clothing in. We had everything we needed which made our stay enjoyable (could have done with more toilet rolls, had to source some more) Overall we had a great staycation, all I would say is if you are travelling without dogs, remember dogs have stayed here. We wouldn’t hesitate staying again.

A great stay! Staying as a family of 6 was fantastic in this clean and cosy house - exactly as described. Nice and quiet neighbourhood and a small walk to the beach. Well kitted out and the outdoor space was great! Perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Fantastic location a few minutes' walk from the beautiful beach & clifftops. The house itself is extremely well-equipped with everything you could think of, ample cutlery and crockery and very handy dishwasher and washing machine. We spent most of our time on hiking trails and coastal walks which are all easily accessible Smugglers Lane. There were plenty of other things to do in the local area, including farm shops, arts & crafts, the lavender farm, Sandringham estate, Hunstanton and its lengthy promenade, and a multitude of small cafes and shops. It was lovely to return every evening to this comfortable house to reminisce about the day in the peace and quiet of the garden. Helen has been an amazing communicative host and we recommend Sunset Retreat wholeheartedly. Thank you!

The location of the property was brilliant, just a short walk to the beach in one direction and a short stroll to a lovely public park and town centre in the other. My wife, myself and of course, our little labrador, Cleo, loved our stay there. We would highly recommend this holiday cottage to anyone seeking a quiet relaxing holiday break.

This was our first stay at Harriets place and will not be our last! It was just what we needed and ticked all the boxes! 4 nights was not long enough. Can’t wait to return. Thank you so much Harriet x

We had a fabulous weekend at Sandra’s place. It’s a beautiful house and very well equipped. The location is idyllic and the interiors are stunning. We loved using the BBQ and enjoying the outdoor seating. Sandra was very helpful with recommendations and directions, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you! 😊

Not long home from an amazing 3 night stay, we were blown away by how lovely it was and HOW CLEAN and well presented it was- you can clearly tell that every attention to detail has been well thought of and Simon and Stephanie really care that your comfortable and enjoying yourself. The hottub was fabulous, the outside BBQ/kitchen was incredible and the views were beautiful. Inside had everything we could ask for, Nothing was broken or damaged, the bed was super comfortable-we couldn't of asked for more. Thanks for an amazing stay and being fabulous hosts, we will definitely visit in the future and also recommend to friends. We hope George has a fabulous birthday and has many wonderful days playing in his new tree house.

We had an excellent stay. David and his wife were welcoming and friendly, made us feel at home immediately. The accommodation was lovely, nice and warm, spotlessly clean, very peaceful with a pretty garden outlook. ( Great garden lights!). The bed and sofas were really comfortable.Parking was available on the drive. Everything was provided that we needed including teabags, milk, coffee, biscuits, washing up liquid etc. All the bits that help you settle in easily. Nearby was a friendly pub which provided food Thursdays to Sundays. The village has a small shop and post office which provides basics such as bread and milk. Many places nearby to explore including Thirsk, Northallerton and Yarm. We will definitely return. We feel lucky to have found this place.

Fabulous garden and location. Beautiful view from the sun room. Great pool, perfect temperature and very comfortable bed. All round lovely clean and quiet place.

A lovely, modern bungalow, very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the peaceful location and surrounding countryside. Communication with Nichola was excellent, both before and during our stay and she very helpfully provided a high chair and cot for my nephew. The bungalow is a great place for a toddler - the living area is all open plan, so it was really easy to keep an eye on him while he explored.

Just back from a wonderful stay in Karla's bungalow. Very impressed with the furnishings and very comfortable. Easy to get everywhere I wanted, despite not having a car. Lincoln is a great place for a short holiday and I highly recommend Karla.
