Stayed with parents, it is the nicest place any of us have stayed. The site itself is a hidden gem. It's beautifully landscaped and the cafe has the best carrot cake I have ever tasted. All of the staff were lovely and the owners are really friendly and passionate about the site. The lodge is SO spacious, the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen has everything you'd need to stay here for an extended time. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the lodge. The beds are unbelievably comfortable and the blinds are black out. Outside there is a large decking area right around the lodge and lots of furniture. My Mam has Mobility issues which is why I chose this lodge and it was perfect for her. I can't fault it in any way, it was perfect - we will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The cottage was lovely, Hemsley is a beautiful place. Louise was an excellent host, she was so responsive to any queries - the communication was excellent. I would highly recommend this cottage to others.

Judy provided clear and helpful instructions on how to find the place, and her local recommendations for pubs were great! The cottage itself was an absolute delight. It was spotlessly clean and Judy had made it feel so cozy and homey. The surrounding area is truly beautiful, perfect for nature walks and relaxing. Our greyhound came along with us and absolutely loved stretching her legs in the countryside and befriending Brutus, Judy's incredibly sweet and friendly terrier. It was so hard to leave and head back home. Thank you so much, Judy, for making our stay so wonderful and memorable!

Woodview cottage is located on a working farm, amidst open fields and woods which are host to birds and wildlife. There are lots of opportunities to walk, and you would be sure to see hare and pheasant on your rambles. I counted close to 20 species of birds in the woodland. The peace and quiet was wonderful, as was the opportunity to observe the workings of the farm. The cottage was well appointed and warm. Jane and her family were amazing hosts. Highly recommended for guests looking for a taste of authentic country life in the UK.

We were looking for a private quiet relaxing weekend and across the hidden gem that ticked all the boxes.Jayne and Stuart were really welcoming and on hand if we needed anything.Highly recommend the dairy barn was immaculate and the hot tub was amazing not to mention the Inn on the green which was located at the bottom of the drive.If you are looking for a quiet getaway then this place comes 100% recommended with first class hosts Darren and Hazel from Sheffield.

We had a great few days in this AirBnb. The information was easy to follow and the place was as it described; it had everything we needed. The bed needs a mention as it was the most comfortable bed ever and we slept really well! It was a good location to explore the lakes, and it was useful being able to walk to the local town for the shop, pubs and restaurants. Thanks so much.

It was a lovely two bedroom property and was as described. It had two very comfortable beds with one room with an ensuite and there was also another bathroom. This was ideal for two couples sharing the house. It was an ideal location for climbing the three peaks. Clare provided us with many suggestions for places to eat in the evening which we very much appreciated, local knowledge is great! We had great meals at The Marton Arms, Peaks & Troughs and The Game Cock. We booked The Game Cock on Thursday night as once a month they do a French menu night and it was brilliant. The property was very dog friendly so our Golden Retriever was very much at home in this property. We hope to visit again in the future and will definitely stay at this property if it is available!

We are just back from a fabulous stay at Cinder Croft. This is the perfect location to explore Whitby and the surrounding area. A very short walk into Whitby itself with all it has to offer and a beautiful base to come back to and enjoy the evening in the large sociable kitchen. The house is excellent with everything you need for the perfect stay. A well equipped kitchen making it easy to cook at home should you fancy a restful evening after a long day walking and exploring. Amy, Emily, and Amanda were excellent hosts, and the app for the house was incredibly helpful and informative. And the beds are really really comfortable, best we have ever had staying away from home!

We had a fantastic time at Cayton Bay and Scarborough. John's caravan is the best one we've stayed in (we come every year). Lots of amenities, even a toddler toilet seat and step. Very comfortable and loads of storage. The caravan was spotlessly clean. Has a homely feel. John was very responsive and approachable. Thank you for a great stay.

We had a great time at the fitties. The accommodation was spacious, bright, well equipped and in an excellent location. Everything was well laid out and the beds were comfy.

Thanks for a lovely stay. Alder Cottage is such a peaceful spot; it was beautiful to walk around the paths through the old quarry right from the doorstep. The cottage was perfectly clean, very comfortable and we really appreciated the homemade muffins! Thanks again, we hope we can come back some day.

Our stay in the beach house was amazing. Madaline was very pro-active with her communication and would reply to any questions very quickly. The beach house itself is exactly as the description, and is located at a beautiful spot. we loved sitting on the deck on the seaside and watch the sun go down.The house has everything you need and was clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend it and will certainly try to come again.

If you are looking for a family holiday with a relaxed feel then this is the place for you. We sat outside eating breakfast and admiring the lovely view across the valley whilst envious people walked past to the beach and loved that this place is a 5 minute walk from the beach but also feels peaceful and private. The beds are all very comfortable, lovely linens and every room has a good view and interesting features. It's so lovely to be able to stay in such an historic building and we liked reading it's history in the house book. Jane is super responsive and clearly likes to put people at ease by making everything clear and easy; for example labelled bins and great instructions. We would highly recommend this place and I had a lovely birthday here !

We had a lovely stay at nick’s place… there were starter products to get you going for self catering which was a nice touch the accommodation was perfect for two comfy bed well equipped kitchen sofa area for taking in the amazing views and beautiful roll top bath and fab power shower 🚿 the outside space was perfect quiet and serine with table and chairs and sun lounger Thanks Nick had a great week Lorraine will be back

Fabulous home with great facilities. Ben and Rosie were wonderful hosts - Pear Tree House was everything we hoped it would be and more. The location was perfect for us. Beautiful woodland walks right on the doorstep (great for dog walks) and a bus stop right outside the property that went into York. Also, we highly recommend the tea room opposite and Sutton Park is well worth a visit if anyone is lucky enough to be there on an open day. Many thanks Ben and Rosie for everything.

Came with my girlfriend for a wee get away. Love the lakes, been to Hawkshead before and this was definitely the best place we have stayed. Can’t recommend enough! We will be back!

Great stay. Lots of room and large enough for 8 adults. The house was well designed and as described. Each room very comfortable. Lovely part of Yorkshire and easily accessible to Ripon, Harrogate and Fountains Abbey.

We loved staying at Caroline's! We (family of 4 with a 7yo & 1yo) stayed with friends (2 adults & 2yo + dog) for a long weekend. The house was beautiful inside and out- even better than the description and photos! It was clean, with a well-stocked Kitchen (cafetiere, scissors, peeler), and Caroline had even left us some biscuits. The girls had a great time playing in the garden and with Maddie (Caroline's dog) who would make regular appearances. Caroline was so friendly and even made some recommendations for walks. The cows in the field nearby were a great distraction for the girls too. Our youngest kids were a bit small to go for long walks but there were still plenty of shorter walks and playgrounds nearby plus a garden centre with soft play. We had a lovely, lovely time! Caroline didn't forget any little touches, like cushions for the outdoor chairs and TV with Sky etc.

We had a fabulous stay at Helen’s apartment. She was a wonderful host, very responsive, apartment was spotless clean and very comfortable: great facilities and modern, walking distance from Sainsbury’s and we had a lovely meal in Dog and Beck would highly recommend staying here
