Villa holiday rentals in Yorkshire

My family and I (7 adults & 1 child) recently stayed at ‘The Cottage’ and we all agreed that it was a wonderful holiday. The house is beautiful, very spacious, spotlessly clean and was well equipped for all of our needs. The hub is definitely the kitchen, we enjoyed playing family board games around the dining table. The gardens are amazing we loved watching wild rabbits, squirrels and cows everyday. It was nice to see home grown vegetables and a herb garden too. Our grandson enjoyed playing football with his dad in the garden, jumping on the trampoline and feeding the fish. It is ideally located for travelling into York and not far from the designer outlet. Our group ranged in age from 2yrs to 78yrs and there was something for everyone to do at the house. We all really needed a family break due to recent illness and enjoyed spending time together making lovely memories. We hope to be able to stay again and thank both Neil and Adrienne for sharing their beautiful home with us.

With a 15 minute drive into Lancaster and the Forest of Bowland on the doorstep. The Barn was set in an ideal location. It was what my wife and I needed. Some quiet time and fabulous walks in the countryside.

Excellent property. Very clean and in a relaxing location. Very comfortable beds, modern and well appointed facilities. A most pleasant stay and we are looking forward to our return at Christmas.

Had a brilliant time! The house was just like the photos and spotlessly clean! was surprised how homely it felt and how nicely decorated and presented it was! Very quick response from the host when we needed to ask a question, would 100% recommend

We had a lovely stay in the farmhouse - it was very easy to find as it looks just like the photos. The property was ready by the check in time and was spotless. It was spacious and well equipped and we loved sitting out in the front garden enjoying the good weather. Having a lovely pub (The Nags Head) a minute’s walk down the road was a real bonus too.

We booked the last minute for the Parklife Festival. We would have been happy with anything but this house and host far exceeded all our expectations! Stunning and spacious house. Great location near Heaton Park and very close to City Centre. Beds were very comfortable. Host was lovely and communicative with us throughout. Price was a bargain for what we received! We all agreed we will definitely book this house again for next year's Parklife Festival!

We stayed here for a weekend away as a group of school mates all turning 30. The property was the perfect base for us, providing us with the best possible experience. We’re an active, activity based bunch and this stay had something for everyone. Multiple activities, from the pool table, darts board, table tennis, air hockey, and yes the Pool and Sauna. Many of my friends couldn’t believe just what we had found for this stay. Private use of the pool is a great bonus. All beds were made, fresh linens and towels provided. We used the kitchen to cook our breakfast each morning. There’s ample parking for 3-4 vehicles inside and plenty on street right next to the property, which is a quiet street so not a stress. Whilst the decor is aged, we are not particular on this and found it added to the charm. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and spots to relax. We would stay again! The host was fantastic in communication and response to questions posed and made the whole process easy.

Super nice place great location lovely house for big groups

Enjoyed a memorable weekend with the family in this house. Location was ideal, right in the heart of one of our favourite places with pubs, restaurants and good walks nearby. House has so much character and has all the facilities you need for a large group of people. Housekeepers that we met were very friendly and welcoming.

A Stunning property in a beautiful location right on Bridlington beach front. As a family of 10, there was nothing that the Property didn’t have to cater for us all. 5 bedrooms, 3 en suite. A beautiful kitchen with a table that sat every one of us which was nice every night for dinner. With so many pots pans dishes cutlery cooking utensils. It had everything and more. A 20/25 minute walk along the gorgeous clean promenade in to Bridlington with its many many cafes and restaurants, seaside arcades, donuts, ice cream, train rides and even a fair The beach is also extremely clean with the RNLI very close and monitoring at all times. although we only had a 2/4 days of no rain, it didn’t keep us from here of a night time for a lovely warm stroll I would 💯 recommend anyone stays here and will definitely be back

Andrew and Virginie have created a perfect retreat with stunning views of Windermere and the rolling hills. great amenities and ideally located for a short walk into bowness. Virginie was super helpful with tips and advice. we would love to return again.

Was a great place to stay for our weekend, the team really looked after us and made check in superbly easy and stress free. Would highly recommend this place, was a lovely house with lots of space and amenities… very very impressed.

We had an unforgettable and special stay at this beautiful house. The sunny woodland walks among the snowdrops and around the lake were a delight, and we spotted all sorts of wildlife. Our dogs had a great time running and playing in the open field, and the small children (and big kids) in our party absolutely loved the play area, tennis court, and swimming pool… but the highlight of their stay was the hot tub! Meeting our host, Robert (and his little one), was lovely too. The house had everything we needed to enjoy some quality time together in this lovely historic setting — it’s a rare gem. Thank you once again for an unforgettable experience! The little ones are already asking when we can return to the big house — we hope to come again soon!

Great house for large groups. Group loved staying in the house, they would normally book into a hotel, but due to availability they needed an alternative, so we booked the house plus provisions for breakfast. They have now been converted and want to do the same next year.

This is a wonderful house for a large family gathering or group holiday. Stunning views over Morecambe Bay. Every need has been anticipated. Great selection of games and activities for all age groups. Jim is very communicative and helpful. I would highly recommend it and hope to go back for a longer stay.
