Jane's apartment is fantastic! It's spacious, beautifully furnished and has wonderful views. Four of us stayed for one night and found it comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a nice walk along the prom and found a handy pub to have a good lunch in. The city centre is within easy reach with good transport connections. We were made to feel at home by Jane and the cold beers in the fridge on arrival were most welcome! Thank you. Her communication and instructions were excellent from the moment we booked. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Liverpool. Highly Recommended!

We loved our stay at this property - it was a super location steps to all the sights and restaurants in York, but quiet and comfortable. Great water pressure in the lovely, clean shower and the bed was very comfortable for a great night’s sleep. Highly recommended for exploring amazing York!

The apartment is in an excellent location within 10 mins walk of the centre of town. We did initially have a problem finding the entrance to the car park. We put the postcode into our satnav and it took us to the right road but Station St is a one way street and we were faced with a no entry sign. Once we arrived Sally talked us through to the apartment. It was really quiet considering it’s so close to town and the railway station. It was clean and very comfortable and a great place to stay for a weekend away. Sally was a very approachable host and quickly responded to all our enquiries.

Gina’s apartment was wonderful and in a fantastic location. It was spotless and well-equipped, with plenty of toiletries, cleaning supplies, towels, and more. We also appreciated the thoughtful provision of basic breakfast supplies, including milk. The internet worked perfectly, and there was a smart TV with free satellite channels and apps like Netflix, which we could easily log into. Gina was an exceptional host, offering great communication and a warm, friendly attitude. We even had a lovely chat before we left, and it felt like we’d known each other for years! I only wish I could have stayed longer to continue the conversation.

A lovely stay at Samantha's. The flat is very clean, comfortable. great if you also want to cook a bit. Very close to the beach. Quiet; with pubs and restaurants, the fishing harbour and Victorian promenade at walking distance. Easy and good parking. Samantha has been very responsive too :) We would stay there again.

The apartment was perfect. Balcony view was beautiful. Chris was extremely responsive. Great location!

We had such a wonderful stay at Francesca's home - super location, very central & right on the water so everything was within walking distance. The apartment itself was clean and cosy, just what we needed for a relaxing long weekend in York :)

Amazing location and it is even larger than expected! The pictures do not actually do it justice. As others have said, there is a separate sitting room with a TV in it that connects to all major streaming networks easily and quickly. the Wi-Fi in the flat was not perfect but it was appropriate for the location. Besides, most people do not go to a beautiful place like Whitby and work like I did. There was public Wi-Fi available for free around the entire town of Whitby that was much faster. I ended up connecting to that as well. Fantastic communication and check in instructions! All in all, The Lookout completely exceeded my expectations - I will be back!

A beautiful cottage in a lovely village. The rear with its babbling brook, field views and multiple seating areas is a highlight. The freshly baked bread, eggs and milk that were left for us, made for a lovely breakfast. The local pub was characterful, friendly and had great food and beers. Plenty of walks from your doorstep. We throughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

The cottage was perfect - it felt like a home from home as soon as we walked through the door. The hosts were friendly & approachable, ensuring that we had lots of useful local info, while not being in the least bit intrusive. Great location for accessing the Yorkshire Dales AND for being able to walk into town! Ours was a last minute booking due to a change in our plans; and it was such a lovely experience. We definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful character property in an excellent location. The cottage had everything you would need or want to have a short or a long break. Will is a friendly host but also gave us space to enjoy our stay. We would definitely recommend staying here and I would certainly book again if staying in the area. Also The Checkers pub a short walk up the hill serves great food.

we had a beautiful stay. the place was spotless and very welcoming. probably the best place to have an air b and b with plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants to chose from. the people locally are very helpful and polite. it was very peaceful to walk along the canal and to the national park.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lodge in Capernwray. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views that we enjoyed every day—it was the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The lodge itself was spotless and incredibly well maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host, Luan, was excellent—friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. With space to sleep six, it’s ideal for families or couples. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful location.

We had a lovely stay at Driftwood Cottage. The cottage is spotlessly clean, light and airy and the decor is beautiful. Everything has been carefully thought out. The stair gate, bed guard and cabin bed in the main bedroom made this a perfect choice with a 4 year old. The instructions for check in / out were very clear and the parking permit provided made the parking situation in Staithes hassle free. Thank you for the local recommendations and welcome pack of Prosecco, milk and bread! A lovely touch! We hope to return in the future.

Second stay in this immaculate apartment . Great location, wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Manchester. James is a great host and nothing is too much trouble.

This place is absolutely stunning, no photo could possibly capture the true beauty of the building. The huge windows overlooking the stream are pure magic. It was an absolute dream of a stay, if you ever feel the need to just switch off and be alone with your thoughts and really unwind this is the place to do it. 100% I will be booking this again, everything was spotless and the decor is straight out of a cottage/industrial living magazine. There is nothing negative to say about this place other than the pure jealousy I feel that I don't live there full time.

We enjoyed our family stay at Glyn’s place very much. Glyn is a friendly gentleman who provided us clear instructions and a lovely place. I’ve been in the Lake District probably a dozen times and this has been my favourite place yet - I’d love to stay again. The beds were comfy. Kitchen really well equipped even for longer stays. The balcony overlooking the river is a proper bonus and a truly delightful place for your morning coffee. I’d rate Glyn 20/10 if I could!

We loved our stay in Amanda's flat. It was very clean and tidy and well equipped with quality furnishings . The flat was very quiet . Paring was very easy and excellent to have. The flat is very well located and town is only a short walk away. We would definitely recommend this flat for a short stay in Whitby as Whitby proved to be larger than we appreciated and we realise there is more to see. Also, huge number of good bars and restaurants within easy reach. the sea view is also a huge plus. Only thing we think would improve the flat would be a few more lamps in the living room and bedrooms for ease of reading . Also, a soap tray in the en-suite bathroom would not go amiss. We are already considering booking again while we can.
