Hotel holiday rentals in The Bahamas

This was overall a great place to stay! We stayed one night. Pros: Amazing beach that you basically have to yourself! Friendly staff and hosts Close to a few restaurants Felt safe Make sure you have a breakfast sandwich at Kermit’s lounge at the airport- DELICIOUS! Ester was our taxi to and from and she was wonderful Cons: Beds were hard Only a few outlets worked We read in the reviews that you could rent kayaks for $20 and the ride from airport was $40, but we were charged $45 for the ride and quoted $50 to rent a kayak. - it would be great if the hosts would advertise what the prices of those amenities are in their airbnb page The restaurants were close, but there wasn’t a huge variety on the menu- we made due of course, but just more of an fyi

Natalia and everyone at the Flying Pig were very friendly and helpful . Loved the pool after a long day on the boat and our room was very comfortable and clean . What a beautiful spot ! Thank you . Hope to be back .

Quetel and Carl are awesome hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean and with tall ceilings it was very spacious. A trail adjoining the property took us to a beautiful beach that was about a fifteen minute walk and we did not see another person or even a footprint. I highly recommend this listing and you can even rent a car directly from the hosts.

Wayne and Pat are very helpful in organizing a car to rent, transportation to and from the airport, and flights to and from the island. The island itself is stunning, there’s a lot more to see on the south end of the island so I recommend renting a car.

I liked the welcome, very friendly people. Margaret made me a nice lunch. The place is perfect for swimming,kayaking available on site,and there is a small coral reef right in front for those who love snorkelling. There's a bar and restaurant on site, and other restaurants nearby. For the price it was perfect for me

The BayInn is a great family owned place. Their bar there serves great local food, and the beach is stunning. The locals that visit are super friendly. Would recommend this place for an authentic bohemian feel.

I think that some of the earlier reviews missed the mark. First, to clarify, Denise is an agent that helps Wendell and Alice with Airbnb bookings since they are not online. I went to Wendell and Alice's because I wanted to experience what it was like to stay with some local Bahamians in a small settlement in a remote island. I got exactly that and am very happy for it. Wendell and Alice and their semi permanent guest Alfred (minister refurbishing the Church next door) are the salt of the earth. The bay / beach is a 30 second walk from your room. It is all shallows with a particularly shallow bar that runs ~2 miles North to the island. It can be seen from satellite imagery - halfway in between where Chester's Bonefish lodge and Acklins Bonefish club show up on Google Earth. This bar would make a fantastic start place for kiteboarding or windsurfing - super clean air and waist deep flat water for a long long way. The bay is surrounded by sandy beaches so if one did lose some gear it would wash up unscathed. The rooms are clean and the art is nice. Colorful painting everywhere. This place is quite something despite being underwater in 2015 in hurricane Joaquin. So don't go here if you are looking for a resort atmosphere. The tap water is brackish. There is no internet (at this time anyhow). The food is what a local would eat, including local grouper and conch. If you want local culture in a really wild and beautiful remote place, this fits the bill.

Absolutely beautiful resort. White beaches and turquoise water. Cant wait to come back.

Great place to stay. Needs to be a few upgrades to the furniture that was damaged, however place was very clean. Great place to have fun, eat at great restaurants with friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again.

Pauline and Antoine were exceptional hosts, and made me feel right at home. Pauline was always responsive, and Antoine made sure the entertainment every evening was enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Having the restaurant on property was very convenient, and the food was always delicious and well prepared. I loved the eclectic charm of the place, the simplicity of the room, the breath-taking beach and views, and the unmatched hospitality. I would definitely visit again.

The location is perfect. We had a great view of the water and yachts from our suites but it sounds like that might change with each guest. I think the rooms could be anywhere. But the staff is super nice, amazing location to walk to the Marina Village in three minutes. Very quiet and well worth the money. Shuttles are plentiful to get around. Highly recommend.

Wonderful accomodation with a large clean pool and great restaurant on site. Easy access to all of the Atlantis amenities.

We loved our stay at Exuma Palms and the owner, Joel, was absolutely fantastic! He is the best cook and made us delicious seafood. The view is incredible. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at Tom’s place. The service was great, attention to detail was as it should be, and the environment was perfect for resting. We can’t wait to return.

The location was rustic and beautiful. Samuel and Allan were excellent hosts and were unbelievably responsive to any needs we had throughout our extended stay. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to spend time outside of town in the Bahamas.

Wonderful stay

All the local cab drivers know where it is, you just have to ask them to take you to Surfers Manor. We went to the wrong place first, but it all worked out it in the end. Floyd is friendly and accommodating and even drove us to lunch and ate with us.

Our trip was wonderful. We enjoyed our room in a lovely house on a beautiful beach. The owner & manager were both helpful and courteous. They contacted us well in advance with CoVid travel guidelines, Golf car rental and ferry info.

Wonderful experience overall. The staff were amazing ALL OF THEM!! Ideally located right by the regatta site so was easy to just walk over and enjoy. The room was nice and clean and loved this space inside. Definitely looking forward to staying there another time
