Guest house holiday rentals in The Bahamas

Absolutely perfect cottage for my 12 year old daughter and me. The property is very secure, which made us feel very safe during our stay. The home is comfortable, peaceful and beautifully appointed. We loved the proximity to Montagu Beach and the Fresh Market was such a convenience to stock up on drinks and snacks for the kitchen! Great pool and porch for relaxing. Very easy to get to restaurants, Atlantis, Queens Staircase, Da Pig Beach, Rum Cake Factory, Straw Market. Host was helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Staying at Giovanna’s guest house was exactly what my soul needed. From the moment I arrived, Giovanna made me feel genuinely cared for. She accommodated my early arrival, had provisions in the house for me. Giovanna didn’t miss a beat, she checked in on me, always ensured I had what I needed. The guesthouse itself was beautifully kept, peaceful, and had all the touches to make me feel as if I were home. The infinity pool is even more impressive in person. The views are breathtaking. When I was preparing to leave, I messaged Giovanna regarding my flight, she immediately responded and arranged for me to be taken to the airport. That kind of kindness is rare, and meant the world to me. I left feeling lighter, happier, and incredibly grateful.

We stayed @ Pine Island's Exuma room - an excellent choice for family and friends. Clean, spacious and comfy. The hosts are friendly and accommodating - felt very welcomed. We would definitely book here again if our travels take us to this area - our recommendations were extended family and friends already. 😊

I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay at a quiet place with great hospitality, very clean and great privacy! They meet all of our needs especially with the generator! I recommend that you check this place out for your next stay in Nassau!

First and foremost, this was my first Airbnb rental. I must say Anna set the bar pretty high with such an amazing experience. From the moment, I clicked reserve to the moment I checked out and beyond. My family and I felt right at home to the point my children asked if we could live here! Anna assisted with helping me find transportation as well which was a life saver with this being such a last minute trip. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a nice quiet; private location. Really is a home away from home. I’ll be back soon!!!!

We booked Sarah’s place on Long Island, Bahamas last minute after feeling unsettled with our first booking –and this gem was exactly what we needed.This is precisely why we love using Airbnb over hotels: finding a space that feels like home. Sarah’s home offered that authentic, comfortable atmosphere we really needed-The kitchen was fully equipped with abundant condiments. Being close to a store for groceries (just a short drive away) made stocking up super convenient. The location is just a five-minute walk to a breathtaking beach.We spent an entire day walking to the very end of the beach (a scenic 3 km stretch southwards),surreal turquoise waters and immaculate white sand. It truly felt like stepping into a paradise.All of it.We’ve stayed at dozens of Airbnbs, and Sarah’s place is among our top -oh..one of the most unforgettable aspects was the starry night sky- nothing short of magnificent. Thank you to Sarah and Dan for sharing your treehouse-Highly recommended.

Cynthia’s place was amazing! She’s such a sweet woman and we felt right at home at her spot. If you’re thinking of staying here - definitely stay!! It is on the east side of the island so about 30 mins from downtown Nassau but if you have a car rental no problems at all! Her son Kevin was so great to help us with any question we had and they had two puppies who were just the sweetest!!! 🐾 Would love to come back and visit!! Thank you again Cynthia! Beautiful and peaceful location. Close to some restaurants. It was larger than I anticipated. Benjamin and Wendy were great hosts.

I will happily stay here again. I know the location well. it's in a residential neighbourhood close to the airport. An ideal spot if you are looking for some solitude and quiet, or wanting to be close to the airport. close to the beach and conch stand. For the adventurous, there is a handy shortcut that avoids a lengthier walk to the beach etc. if you ask the hosts. Inexpensive, comfortable and well appointed. A short drive away is a supermarket, Alcohol shop, shopping plaza and restaurant.

Flamingo Cottage was exactly what I needed for a last minute short visit and Michelle was extremely accommodating and helpful in arranging everything and allowing me book on very short notice. The cottage has a very comfortable bedroom with a large closet and an additional sitting room with a mini fridge. The check in process was very smooth and Michelle was very responsive throughout my stay. The location is one of my favorites on the island, as it is a very quick drive (and also walkable) into the main part of town as well a short walk to the beach and Romora Bay. With many accommodations on the island becoming cost prohibitive and/or too large for solo traveler/couple, Flamingo Cottage is a delightful and manageable base to explore and enjoy all the amazing things the island has to offer. Michelle is great - very flexible, friendly and responsive host. I am very much looking forward to coming back for my longer stay at her other property in a few months!

The place was very clean and beautiful as in the Photos. The surroundings was so peaceful and quite which was really nice. Great location with stores right across the street, that we were able to pickup groceries and souvenirs. The host Monique was superb, she went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was a great one. She assisted us in finding a car rental, some great food and recommended the must visit spots of the island. We definitely will be recommending this location and host to our family and friends, who thinking about visiting Long Island.

Michael is a very great host. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. He helped with securing a rental car and activities for the time in the Bahamas. The living arrangements were fantastic.

YES YES YES Final stop on our honeymoon, saved the best until last. My wife walked in, the place was amazing. My wife opened the patio doors, the view was even better. Major husband points!! Direct on the beach, common to see literally no one on the beach all day - perfect if you want a quiet getaway. Hired a car from Avie, did us perfectly for exploring the island. Exactly what we needed. He gave us local tips on where to go, such as Stocking Island to feed the Stingray and organised a full day boat trip with us from a company he trusts which gave us the most amazing memories of swimming with sharks, pigs, swimming in James Bond Thunderball Grotto and petting Iguanas as well as seeing a sunken drug plane of Pablo Escobar and seeing turtles en route. Avie’s local knowledge and advance guide brochure which he sent to us digitally was so helpful too. Thank you Avie for the perfect end to our honeymoon.

Lynn is a very good host. very responsive and made us feel right at home. I will be staying again.

Cornell is an awesome host! He made sure we felt comfortable, checked in to see if we needed anything, and even brought us fresh coconut water from the tree. He promptly provided extra towels when we asked. The beachfront location is perfect! Highly recommend!

When it comes to recommending someone to an Airbnb in Exuma , this will definitely be my first choice. Because other than clear communication between our host and her being very responsive before our trip even started , everything about Peacock Villas was accurate and still exceeded my expectations in some ways compared to other Airbnb's you may stay at. One of the mornings during the stay, there was an island issue that didn't had anything to do with our host, but she still made it her interest to come to us right away and let us know what was going on, also suggested a way to help until the issue was fixed. That reminded me of an Airbnb I stayed at where there also was an issue (THIS ISSUE WAS THEIR PROBLEM), in return we were left "RUNNING" behind them for assistance, which was a complete disappointment. I can go on and on about our stay and my experience with Zoey , but what I've said already should be enough ! BOOK WITH ZOEY!! BOOK WITH ZOEY!!

Kevin was an amazing host. He responded quickly to me and was accommodative. The Airbnb was very clean and matched the photos. Although the Airbnb was far from things by foot, we chose this area for the safety and calmness. I would again stay here if I come back!

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at Jacqueline's place. She went over and above accommidating us with an early check in, pickup and drop off at the airport and arranging a rental car. Her and her family were really friendly, helpful and responsive. The place itself had everything we needed for our stay. The small details were really sweet, like having toiletries available, coffee, etc. We really felt taken care of. I would recommend this place to stay.

The wild dilly is an exceptional place! With its easy access to the ocean, beautiful surroundings and clean living space, it truly was a pleasant stay. The hosts were always friendly and responsive. They made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable experience at the wild dilly. We will definitely be going back!
