Monthly Rentals in Shenandoah County

We only stayed one night at the cabin—but what a night it was! We arrived in the evening and were immediately greeted by a small herd of cows, which absolutely delighted my dairy farmer husband and our farm-loving son. After a week at the beach in a less-than-cozy house with minimal amenities, followed by a full day of walking around Monticello, this cabin felt like a warm hug. The space was incredibly comfortable—recliners everywhere (my kind of paradise!) and plenty of seating for everyone. With two full bathrooms, it made traveling with my family and brother so much easier. The peaceful, scenic view was just the cherry on top. Our kids had a great time too—it’s a wonderful spot for families. We also really appreciated the complimentary coffee in the morning—a thoughtful touch from our hosts. Honestly, we kicked ourselves for only booking one night. Lesson learned… we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

The place was peaceful, clean, private, and everything looked just like the photos. The instructions were clear and precise. Checking in and checking out was super easy. The cabin is so beautiful and tastefully decorated. The outdoor porches and seating area are lovely. The area itself is so beautiful. It was so peaceful. The town is also lovely, with a great general store with really wonderful owners. The place was difficult to find -- the directions that we got from airbnb and put into google maps took us to the middle of the highway and told us to stop. Luckily we found someone to ask for directions who helped us out. Other than it being tricky to find, it is an absolute gem and truly a treat to be in such a lovely space in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

Had a great stay at the burrow with 5 friends and a doggy on our road trip. Cozy and clean, with a picturesque view from the porch. Our favorite part was the outdoor fire - thanks to the hosts for helping us get it going. Would definitely come back!!
