Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Shenandoah County

This airbnb was better than I expected. Although, it is not at the google maps location when using maps, it has a sign directing you where to go. It was very clean and homey. It felt comfortable and the bed was like a cloud. It was very private and the hot tub was just icing on the cake since being in the mountains is chilly. The hosts left extra food/supplies that came in handy. I would definitely come back! The water was a little smelly, but it is most likely just from being so far in the mountains. The hosts were super responsive and answered any questions I had. 100% would recommend.

My family was thrilled with their peaceful retreat in the mountains. Brenda made my mother’s birthday an enjoyable and unforgettable weekend. She made sure to hang a birthday banner for her, provided clear and thorough instructions on how to use all the amenities and the house was well-equiped with everything that a family needs. My family and I will definitely be coming back. The scenery is beautiful, quiet and spacious. We are eternally grateful for an amazing experience and happy to have spent some time away from the busy and loud city. Thank you!

The house was impressively clean. It was very private, and had a good amount of space for our family. We found our stay to be very comfortable. The space was well supplied. Nicole‘s communication was excellent, and we had an easy time getting in and checking out. It was in close driving proximity to Shenandoah national Park and downtown Luray which we enjoyed.

A nearly perfect stay - We had a wonderful stay at this cozy Airbnb tucked away in the woods near the Shenandoah River. The setting was peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home was impressively well-stocked with everything from cooking essentials to medical supplies and even female hygiene products, which was a thoughtful touch. We did run into a couple of technical issues with the HVAC not cooling and the ceiling fan not working. However, the hosts were incredibly responsive and sent someone out as soon as possible to address it, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a nearly perfect stay, and we’d happily return!

Excellent home for a group! Hannah's beautiful mansion had everything we needed for a wedding party group for the weekend. The home sits on top of a hill and has a gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home slept 10 with way more space for many additional guests. No complaints about our stay and I would like to thank and commend Hannah for her prompt communication and flexibility with our group!

We loved the place. Easy commute to National park and Market place. Calm and quite place to spend with family.

Great place to stay! We enjoyed our time there. Easy to separate dogs in the house. Wonderful yard to play with the pups in. If you have pups be aware the few cars that do travel the road do so quite fast. We didn’t get to take advantage of the pool or hot tub, but they appeared well maintained. Would absolutely stay here again. Out far enough with pretty views, but convenient to lots of things. Highly recommend!

Erin’s home was comfortable, cozy and well-equipped with everything one might need. The view is, indeed, beautiful and peaceful. The fireplace was set up with wood and even a starter log. The Kitchen had beautiful dinnerware and serving dishes that were a mix of Moroccan and Portuguese blue colors and design, and enough pots and pans and glassware to feed an army. I was particularly appreciative of quick turn around communication. She also went out of her way to find a high chair for my grand daughter and also had a portable crib. There is a guide book that highlights restaurants in the area. Finally, the house was decorated for Christmas, which I wasn’t expecting. It made our stay even more special. Highly recommend.

Lea’s place was phenomenal, I highly recommend this stay and Lea as a host. Amenities were great, the place was clean, and if we’re back down that way, we’ll for sure be visiting again.

I surprised my beautiful gf with this trip! When we got there we were blown away at how private it was, the views were amazing and the place was so clean and cozy! I took her to the Shenandoah mountains and proposed to her at one of the sky line drive viewing centers! It was surreal and we will definitely come back In future as this is a forever memory for us!

The home was in a private peaceful area . We thoroughly enjoyed the big yard and the two swings for taking the beautiful scenery in. We relaxed by the fire pit and loved the lit up pathway walking out to it . The two person shower was a treat. It really was pretty. After we came back from dinner we played some pool in the game room and educated my sons on the record player which delightfully brought us back in time. One night here was not enough to enjoy all this lovely home has to offer. Highly recommend staying a few days when you come!

The Lost River Hideout was peaceful and inviting. Denisa's recommendations on local food, activities, and nature helped give shape and purpose to our adventure. The cabin had a wonderful selection of games and puzzles to enjoy the space in the case of bad weather! The kitchen was fit for a chef, and the beds were all cozy. Checking in and out was seamless, and Denisa was responsive. We had a wonderful time, and will remember it fondly for a lifetime.

Had a beautiful weekend here with our pups! Gorgeous place and very clean.

Beyond my expectations, would stay here again

We spent our 1st wedding anniversary here at this beautiful cabin. We loved waking up to the picture views of the mountains. We spent our days hiking. Our evenings reading in front of the patio doors watching the sun go down and evening mist rise. It was truly magical, cozy, clean and made us want to invest in our own little cabin in the woods.
