My family was thrilled with their peaceful retreat in the mountains. Brenda made my mother’s birthday an enjoyable and unforgettable weekend. She made sure to hang a birthday banner for her, provided clear and thorough instructions on how to use all the amenities and the house was well-equiped with everything that a family needs. My family and I will definitely be coming back. The scenery is beautiful, quiet and spacious. We are eternally grateful for an amazing experience and happy to have spent some time away from the busy and loud city. Thank you!

A nearly perfect stay - We had a wonderful stay at this cozy Airbnb tucked away in the woods near the Shenandoah River. The setting was peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home was impressively well-stocked with everything from cooking essentials to medical supplies and even female hygiene products, which was a thoughtful touch. We did run into a couple of technical issues with the HVAC not cooling and the ceiling fan not working. However, the hosts were incredibly responsive and sent someone out as soon as possible to address it, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a nearly perfect stay, and we’d happily return!

Clean, well-stocked, spacious, and comfy! Town was a five minute walk with some great local shops and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!

The cabin is very comfy and a delightful place to stay! We particularly loved the beautiful sun room, which is the perfect place to lounge and relax while enjoying the quiet of the surrounding woods. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all of our meals for the weekend and the beds were very comfortable. Michael did a great job responding to any messages we had for him. Loved our stay in their cabin!

This was our third stay with Marty and Fred as hosts. They are friendly, personable and very responsive to any needs we have. We plan to come again next year.

We truly appreciated our stay at the Buddha house. Bobbi was wonderful and welcoming. We enjoyed our conversations with her and learning about the property. The area was peaceful, with a soothing river and local wildlife. Bobbi even had a Zen garden and a meditation labyrinth. She really took the time to create a calm and inviting space for others. There were also some lovely towns within a 15-30 minute drive to grab a bite, as well as plenty of hiking spots.

This place was amazing. Everything was clean and the attention to detail showed everywhere. Not a thing was missing, even had the outdoor fire pit loaded and ready. It was stocked as if it was our house, everything you needed was provided, samples of coffee was a special welcome, even snacks. Beds are just so comfortable you dream all night. Showers are so modern and the tub, well let’s say plenty of room to enjoys yourself. We loved everything about our stay here, coming back for sure.

Cindy and Bill were extremely friendly as if they've known us forever! Their home was perfect, very roomy and spotless. We stayed for the weekend because our daughter graduated from JMU, but could've easily stayed a lot longer. We didn't feel cramped at all! My only regret is that I didn't know about Champion's Nest all this time!!! Thank you Cindy and Bill for making us feel at home <3

Everything was exactly as advertised and then some. This place was perfect for me and my two littles. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed, and check in was incredibly flexible. My only complaint is that I wish I found this place earlier in the ski season. 10 out of 10 hands down.

Apartment is wonderfully updated and spacious In a very quiet and tranquil town Would stay again

We spent two nights at Lindsey's place in Luray to hike in Shenandoah NP. The location was fantastic, easy walk to restaurants, shops, movies. The apartment had a nice front porch that overlooked the river and greenway path. The house was had two floors and was roomier than we expected. Everything was spotless and the neighborhood was scenic and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great stay along the river! Even though there are other cabins around, still felt very private. Hot tub was excellent! Very thorough instructions and communication

Very cute and comfortable. Right in downtown. everything is very convenient walkable to restaurants. even though it's downtown, there really isn't a lot of traffic noise. Highly recommend and I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!!! We have such a relaxing weekend at Peter’s place. From the moment waking in we felt relaxed and at home. Peter had jazz music playing and the fireplace ready to go for us. There was plenty of wood available and Peter even provided fire starters for us to use. Peter’s place was spotless, the bath towels were soft and smelled so good. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, we slept so well. We loved the attention to all of the decor. We appreciated the plentiful seating in the living room. The couches were so comfortable and made relaxing so easy to do in front on the fire. The attention to detail and little touches that went into making this place amazing were appreciated. There were plenty of games, books, comfy blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with a wide variety of pots, pans, baking sheets, cups, plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery. We especially loved the views from all the windows. We can’t wait to return for another visit.

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

Molly was a great host. The Airbnb looks exactly like the photos. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet and we couldn’t hear any neighbors. Molly gave very detailed instructions which made checking in super simple. The beds were a little bit hard but other than that, this was a perfect place to stay.

This place is fantastic. It's comfortable in every way, charming, beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean. It's even nicer than the photos suggest. The location right at the base of the slopes at Bryce is perfect. I'll definitely stay here again someday!

We were here for a brief weekend getaway to go snowboarding with the family. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was ski in/out with only a 5-6 minute walk to the bunny slope and lifts. The bed was very comfortable.

We had a great couple of days here. Really enjoyed sitting on the back porch. We had to leave a day early because rain cancelled our mountain biking plans. We would stay here again!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. This will definitely be on our bucket list for another stay in the future!

The rental and grounds met our expectations and needs very well. Lots to do in the surrounding area. The pool and hot tub were just right. Comfy beds and cozy common area.

Check in was easy and fast, no issues. The unit was nice and cozy, adequate towels, kitchen, everything. Parking was super easy with lot right off the entrance. Location is right off the ski slopes and walking distance to the lodge and restaurant. Alesia reached out before check in to make sure we knew what to do and we're good to go. No complaints, great experience!
