Thank you so much for having us! The setting was totally beautiful, peaceful and serene. We couldn’t have asked for more. Very accommodating hosts, helping us with flexible checkin/out times. House is lovely, extremely comfortable and has all the little cleaning things you need like washing up liquid, dishwasher tables etc all there so didn’t need to worry about those things. Couldn’t recommend more. Five million stars.

I love this little bungalow. It was my home from November 2024 to May 2025 and it was perfect. If I don't come back soon (which I may), I'll be seeing ii in my dreams.

We had an incredible stay! The space was spotless, beautifully designed, and exactly as described—if not better. The location was perfect for exploring, and every detail was thoughtfully provided to make us feel right at home. One of our favorite parts was the amazing selection of games—such a fun touch that made our evenings extra memorable! Communication with our host was seamless—quick responses, clear check-in instructions, and great local tips. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and fun getaway!

Wonderful stay right on the water. Easy drive to Inverness and surrounding sites.

We just returned home from a weeks stay at Carols Coastguard Cottage and we are already planning on when to go back. While I’m sure the beautiful weather we had for our stay was just a blessing, the cottage was the perfect place to decompress for a week. The peace that came from sitting outside under the canopy, listening to waves while watching and making friends with the shore oath walkers (and their wonderful dogs) was exactly what we needed. But if you don’t feel like interacting, it’s very easy to just keep the gate closed and sit in a perfect solitude oasis. The walk to the village was very easy and we were delighted with the many options for meals, our favorites being Sozo and 6-3-1 and of course The Sipster, which we spent a wonderful night getting to know a group of locals who all knew of Carol and how amazing she is. I could go on forever about how great this place is but I only have 90 characters left so I’ll just say book now, you won’t regret it at all.

Absolutely perfect house and hosts. Couldn't do enough to help. The house was beautiful and had everything you could ever need. Even down to laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, tin foil, kitchen roll and seasonings! Those are the little things that make such a huge difference. They've really thought of everything for you. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we'll definitely be back.

Fantastic 4 night stay, fantastic location and very spacious bungalow - highly recommended to anyone who wants to kick back and relax in Anglesea.

Beautiful home right in the middle of Mullaghmore village with stunning views. The house is actually nicer than in the photos - it was clean and comfortable, with well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were spacious and three modern, clean bathrooms. Would definitely go back.

One of the best air bnbs we have stayed in. So clean and comfortable and great location to explore Achill. Really well kitted out place - comfy beds and gorgeous bathrooms !

Our stay here was perfect! Everything is exactly as described and photographed. Steve was very helpful, friendly and responded quickly. There was a folder of recommendations for things to do nearby which was very useful. Situated in such a gorgeous setting, I will definitely return and would be glad to stay here again

We all enjoyed the stay. The place helped to make us feel comfortable. We had all we needed. Short walk to Killin village where you can find a co-op, restaurants, hotels, takeaways and pubs within walking distance. The falls of Dochart are close by which made the area more appealing. Great views, peaceful and the river on the balcony is amazing. Everything was in great condition and well maintained. The Highlands can be a bit challenging if it's your first time getting around but this place is in a perfect location on the Bridge of Loch Tay and was easy to find following the instructions given. There's a hotel/pub right next door and a golf course. I would've enjoyed staying longer as it felt just like home and I would use again if the opportunity ever arises.

Idilicc location and a better spot to stay than Portree in my experience - much more of an escape + makes it easy to break your exploring of Skye into sections without needing to double back too much. Would recommend to anyone!

Loved the location, it was very peaceful and had fabulous views. We got to watch the deer and saw sheep playing in the adjacent field. Mountains were beautiful and we watched a bright orange sunset. We also enjoyed each room having its own en-suite bath. Comfy beds and plenty of seating in family room. Games were left for our entertainment as well. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful stay, the bungalow was perfect. Orkney is a very special place, the archaeology is overwhelming. I particularly liked walking around the Ring of Brodgar at 6 in the morning!! Beautiful beaches, so much to see. I will be back 😀😀😀

The Kennels is a gem in potention. It easily could've been an inspiration for some of Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. Because the cottage has this special dated atmosphere... Perfect beds gave us a great night's sleep. We enjoyed the lovely garden with rare flowers and over 20 sorts of birds. For bikers: it's situated close to mountainbike tracks. Take the slow road and you will be treated to beautiful views. Ollie was very kind to allow us a late check out and provided us new pans.

Fantastic location with great views Peaceful, private and quiet Comfortable beds , dishwasher and washing machine, TV and Bluetooth speaker and WiFi, although we didn’t use the TV 🙂 Everything was there in case you forget something We would definitely recommend and stay there again
