William's Shepherds Hut Hadrians Wall

StuartRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Nice & quiet, shepherds hut was compact & cosy. 3 of us stayed for a night and we slept brilliantly, we didn't need heating but we imagine the log burner would of been lovely in winter. All told, a great place to get your head down with everything you need for a stay for a couple of nights or just a stopover.

Jessie's Hut

DeniseRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This is the third time I’ve visited Andrew’s shepherd’s hut and yet again I wasn’t disappointed living up to the photos and description. The linen, towels and accommodation are all spotlessly clean. I’ve never stayed anywhere more than once but I’ll come back here time and again. It’s a perfect location to relax and unwind or for exploring the county. I’d thoroughly recommend.

Romantic Eco Hideaway with Breathtaking Views

IsabelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the loveliest stay at “Josephine”. Emma was a gracious and thoughtful host who went the extra mile to make sure we were all set up and comfortable. The hut was beautiful, comfortable and full of personal touches which made the stay feel even further from the city. The local area was also lovely. No need to go far at all! We hope to be back :)

Dragonfly

KateRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Really really good stay. Enjoyed the use of the indoor and outdoor fires, especially under the stars and listening to the owls. Kathryn & Trevor have really used the space well and it feels very private. Trevor welcomed us from the beginning and was very friendly and showed us to the hut. Perfect weekend away to recharge and spend quality time with loved ones. Thank you for letting us stay in such a lovely peaceful space! Oh and the sheep are extremely friendly too!

Ben's Hut

MagpieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ben's Shepherds Hut was cosy, comfy and had everything we needed for our little home from home on our trip. Beautiful setting - you instantly relax. The hut is lovely and had everything we needed. The private hot shower and toilet was fabulous to have. We have stayed in others that don't have this luxury for double the price)! The beds were comfy and our wee girl loved the bunk bed! the two radiators made the place toasty in no time at all - needed them only 1 night when the rain battered and the North winds blew! It felt so safe and cosy in the hut. Andrew and his wife are so lovely - we were even offered fresh rolls and sausage from the clay pigeon shooting day that they had on that we weren't part of! 😊 We will be back very soon! Our wee girl said she wanted her whole summer holidays here and cuddled her bunk bed before she left! 🤣🥰

Hilary is a brilliant host and generous with her local knowledge. The Garden Bothy is extremely well-designed and equipped; it’s super-comfortable and Hilary provided local eggs for a breakfast bonus. We really enjoyed our time here.

Wuthering Huts - Flossy's View

RachelRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had the most magical stay at this shepherd’s hut in the beautiful West Yorkshire countryside! Surrounded by absolutely stunning views, it was the perfect peaceful escape from daily life. We brought our binoculars and were amazed by the local wildlife. During our stay we spotted an owl, deer, peacocks, oyster catchers, and so many more. A real highlight was feeding apples to the friendly Highland cows in the field right next to the hut, such a unique and special experience. The hut itself was immaculately presented and by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at in the UK. It had everything we could possibly need and more. Thoughtfully designed, cosy, and comfortable, it felt like a real home away from home. The location is ideal too, just a short 10-minute drive to Haworth, a charming and quaint village steeped in history, perfect for a day out exploring. Cate was a lovely host—very responsive and helpful. A small suggestion would be to add a curtain on the door window!

The Nook at Newalls- luxury shepherd’s hut

ChloëRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had such a wonderful stay in ‘The Nook at Newalls’. It was private and peaceful and had everything we needed. We had some stormy weather during one of the evenings, but we were cosy and warm in the hut with the log burner lit! Taxi into Kendal cost £9 where we had a gorgeous Sunday dinner at ‘Ye Olde Fleece Inn’. Windermere was a 20 minute drive where we did a great short walk up to Orrest Head for the most incredible views. The hut is a great base for exploring the Lake District - highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. We just spent one night but it was a nice, peaceful evening. I would recommend brining bug spray for midges/mosquitoes for the evenings though so you can sit outside.

Meadow View - Shepherds Hut with hot tub

KoriRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Amazing spot for a getaway. It’s private and the views are insane. The cabin was lovely and clean and the hot tub was great. Elaine was great and left us milk tea sugar etc which is great as you don’t get that everywhere you go and she also had messaged me to say if I needed anything to message it. Would highly recommend and will be back

Luxurious Shepherd's Hut with a Private Hot Tub

CiaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a truly enjoyable stay at this charming shepherd’s hut. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the hot tub offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside – a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Upon arrival, we did notice a few cobwebs on the light fixture and some areas of the ceiling that could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. However, these were only minor details in what was otherwise a wonderful experience. Thank you, Jason – we’d happily return!

Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

IlonaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This Shepherd’s Hut is gem on the Pennine Way. The hut is very sweet and cosy and perfect for a night or two. View from the window is over the sheep fields and we spend the evening sitting outside, watching swifts, swallow allows and house martins circling above us. The host could not have been more friendly and helpful and we felt at home straight from the start. We couldn’t recommend this place any more especially if you are hiking the Pennine Way and want somewhere special to stay.

Glenview Shepherds Hut nestled in the Gortin Glens

CarolynRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The shepherd's hut was cosy, whatever the weather outside was doing! Pamela was very quick to respond with answers to any questions. There were little treats on our arrival and a tasty breakfast box for our first morning. The hut itself is situated in the lovely Sperrins with plenty of places to explore.

Cherry Tub in the Orchard. Cozy Getaway

SophieanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely little place for our mini getaway. Set in gorgeous and private location, we even had the pleasure of seeing deer, rabbits, ducks and the farm dogs during our stay. The toilet was a little different than we are use to but did not impact our stay. Would recommend.

Delightful shepherd's hut at a Victorian station

JoanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Deborah and Peter were responsible to questions and very flexible. They allowed us a BBQ and also advised we did not need to rush to check out. We were at a wedding evening do close by, and they made local recommendations for taxis. It is a beautiful and well maintained hut. Fresh coffee, milk and eggs provided. It was a bit bright in the morning so my husband couldn't sleep in (doesn't bother me!) but otherwise all fantastic. Very responsive and welcoming, but also left to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Would return and definitely recommend.
