Holiday rentals with a kayak in Hebrides

Christine’s place was perfect for a wonderful week. Immaculate and so welcoming. Allan even called us to let us know the place was ready early so we could enter and get settled in quicker. Everything we could wish for was available. We loved the fire pit with grill and enjoyed BBQs. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Spotless bathrooms and super soft towels. Thoroughly recommend walking to Singing Sands Beach, driving to Sanna Beach, Silver Sands of Morar and Traigh Beach. This is a fantastic place that was recommended by my neighbour, we are very thankful and will be back!

Everything about this house is first class. location is perfect for peace and quiet, the views are spectacular. The house has excellent amenities all of the best quality. This is the gold standard in holiday accommodation and great value for money.

We were 3 adult couples touring Ireland. The place is lovely with the river running next to the house. Hugh was there to meet us with instructions and recommendations and Anne had left us some homemade brown bread . It’s only a couple of minutes walking distance from the picturesque Cong village with lovely pubs and music on Thursdays to Sundays. Some lovely walks as well. Overall a great find and would defiantly stay again if in the area. The film The Quiet Man with John Wayne was filmed in Cong in 1951 so worth a watch before you go or you can watch on the DVD provided at the house.

We loved our stay here. It was the most perfect location, right on the beach and it was very quiet. Often times we were the only ones on the beach and in the water! The house itself was clean and tidy and communication with the host was pleasant and fast.

Highly recommended for small family. Conor is great in host. house was very clean and with all amenities. location is perfect and walking distance from shops, petrol station, town centre. also, town has everything you need. scenic route and nice countryside. a great place to visit every year.

We had a lovely few days in this beautiful home. We climbed Ben Nevis so this was the perfect location. The beds are amazing, the showers are amazing and the kitchen has everything you need. Sean and Anna are top hosts too with some lovely welcoming touches. I would definitely recommend.

Me and my boyfriend had such a wonderful time staying at The Loft, it’s such a gorgeous place - perfect for two. The staff at the barn were so welcoming and friendly, they really made us feel welcome and were happy to help us at all times. We both agree that there is nowhere else we’d have rather stayed and would definitely go back again in the future. Thank you for having us! 😊

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. The setting is perfect with canal walks straight from the door. The cottage is light, spacious and beautifully decorated. The enclosed garden is very private and there was plenty of space for our dog to explore. Amy was a great host. She provided everything we needed and left us an amazing box of goodies. We would highly recommend this property and would love to stay again.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. This was our third stay - the cottage is perfect for our family of four plus a dog. Despite some wet weather, we happily filled a week with swims in the loch/play on the boats, lovely walks around the farm tracks, biking at the nearby bike tracks, visiting waterfalls and castles. The cottage had everything we needed, it was very spacious and the lovely log burner kept us cosy on the cool evenings. Joe and Sue were both super helpful hosts, making us feel very welcome, and we would definitely like to stay again.

Lovely stay in Janet’s cosy cottage. We loved the comfortable bedrooms, cute garden, wood fired pizza oven and the lovely park nearby. Janet was really responsive and helpful. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely space Janet!

We had a lovely stay. Beautiful views, cosy and clean house. The fireplace with plenty of logs was a plus. Also loads of space for our dogs to run about. Would definitely stay again.

Pat and Mary Angela are marvellous hosts. When we arrived the fires were lit, the table was set and there were gorgeous scones made by Mary Angela. They are both so friendly and gave lots of recommendations of places to visit. Their lovely cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Galway. It is definitely a home from home. My husband and I along with our 3 adult children and 2 Jack Russells had a great time there and we had everything we needed. We also loved Pat and Mary Angela's cafe and bookshop in Oughterard Village. Well worth a visit. Couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough!

A beautiful cottage in the most stunning and well kept grounds. The chickens absolutely added value to the experience, especially the little brown one who we named Wilmer for our stay! She was the perfect little neighbour, cute, cheeky and friendly. The lake, boat and kayaks were gorgeous. Cottage stunning, found the smell of ‘dog’ noticeable when I went in which sparked some allergies but luckily, not upstairs so didn’t impact sleep. It clearly said dogs welcome downstairs so something I should have thought about in advance. The library and reading area overlooking gardens and lake was so peaceful and cottage really does optimise the space. Kitchen very well thought out with good facilities and loved the fresh eggs and white roses left, a really thoughtful and lovely gesture. Gorgeous place, privacy respected and clearly a much loved cottage. Thank you.

Amazing location right by the lake. Lovely cabin and the hot tub was cracking. Having a little boat to row out onto the lake was a nice little touch. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Amazing little gem of a place. Peaceful and quiet just what we wanted. Place to relax and unwind. Bonus if you like fishing, good little lake at your feet! Hot tub added extra and great to relax. Everything there that you need to chill and enjoy the surroundings. Woukd highly recommend and already looking forward to returning!

This place is magic. The surroundings are so beautiful and so calming. Isabelle and family were very helpful and welcoming as were the cats and dogs! Would recommend as a quiet oasis .

Cozy little cabin in a very beautiful village, close to a few Munro's. The gardens are beautiful if you can brave the midgies or the wind is up. lot of nice walks around through beautiful woods, by the riverside and through wildflower meadows if you don't fancy a Munro.

What an amazing place to spend a lovely few days to celebrate a special birthday! Charlotte is a fabulous host and was more than happy to answer any questions we had.  We were provided with clear directions to guide us right to the lodge, and there was lots of very helpful information about the lodge, the surrounding area and attractions. On our arrival the lodge was immaculately presented and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The lodge was very spacious and comfortably accommodated 7 adults and our Border Collie. It felt welcoming and homely, and Charlotte had put a lot of care and attention into preparing the lodge ready for our stay. My family and I were blown away by the  stunning views of the lake, and the hot tub was a bonus. We even had a visit from a family of swans who were keen to show off their beautiful baby cygnet. Thank you for letting us have the pleasure in staying at your fabulous Lodge. We will certainly be back, hopefully soon!

What a relaxing, beautifully appointed and tastefully accessorised lodge. We had everything that we possibly could need and the lodge was clean throughout. Additional garden was a bonus had the weather been better. We will definitely consider booking again in the future. Thanks Alma.
