West Caravan Isle of Canna

GretaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a great few nights on Canna! Isabels caravan is the perfect location to walk to both ends of the island. Isabel came to meet us from the ferry and took our bags to the caravan and back when we were leaving which was really helpful! The caravan had amazing views, was surprisingly spacious and it had hot water and cooking utensils. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, remote and scenic holiday!

The Octagon, Wooden Chalet in 2 acres

PhilipRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A really special place to stay. We had three families and all really enjoyed our stay. We took the option of the caravan too; everything was spotless, well-equipped and very comfortable. Between us there were five kids and there was plenty of space for them to roam and explore. The hot tub and sauna were great too.

Beautifully Restored Vintage 1930s Threshers Hut

DaveRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a relaxing week long stay here and absolutely loved it. The hut is kitted out with everything we needed, and for those used to hit stays it is perfect. The bed is comfortable and therrs plenty of space. We were treated to amazing dawn & dusk choruses, as well as seeing various wildlife from the hut including hares, pheasants, chiff chaff & even house martins. The hosts are warm and friendly, and the cake on arrival was delicious! We're already looking forward to another visit!

VW Campervan Lake Windermere pet friendly

JadeRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Me, my partner and pooch had a wonderful 2 days with Martin's beautiful van. An exceptional, responsive, caring host. Check in was easy, with a Youtube video showing us around the van and how to use everything. The van drove beautifully, had everything we needed and was easy to use. Very comfortable and warm. I would highly reccommend and would use again. Thanks Martin!

Retro caravan in nature's paradise!

SueRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Absolutely beautiful location if you are looking for peace and tranquility, surrounded by nature. Red squirrel seen most days! Caravan is retro compact and quirky, loved it. Everything you need, towels and torch provided too. Borrowdale hotel nearest for food and drink approximately half mile along road but we favoured Mary’s Mount about a mile away by car/walk or a 20minute trail walk across the marshes. Recommend taking larger mugs if you like a bigger brew than 60’s style cups! Nearest supermarket is Booths in Keswick, everything you need in there and an easy to park large car park, 1hr free . Fantastic walks and climbs right from the door and lots of information given about this in the caravan. Enjoy.

Inverness Camper Van Hire

KristaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Conor’s campervan was the best holiday we’ve had! It was exactly as described and was the perfect place for us to come home to for the week. We travelled around Skye and Inverness was the perfect place to travel from - we took the most beautiful route through the Highlands. Conor’s communication was impeccable and he was so quick and helpful in responding. We couldn’t have asked for a better host! Check in was perfect and Conor gave us suggestions for the area we were going to and showed us around the van. We will 100% be back to explore more of the Highlands!

Bonny Airstream

GillianRating, 5 stars2 months ago
What an incredible secluded stunning place. All you hear is nature all around you with the river flowing nearby. We were soo relaxed after this break and we cannot wait to return. You will not regret visiting this off grid beautiful place 😍 It does get very cold at night so make sure you are prepared with the correct clothing. I would recommend the seal island cruise on Loch Linnhe for some great views and commentary from the skipper. It is also dog friendly as well.

Charming handy for Lake District

SamRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This was one of our favourite stays during our trip of the Lake District. The cabin has everything you need and we loved the private garden. It’s a short drive to popular towns and is only a short walk to the local pub. We’d highly recommend!

Aberdeenshire Airstream

OlaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We truly enjoyed our stay. It's a quirky and unique space located in very peaceful area. We particularly enjoyed all the wonderful outdoor space with so many little pockets of sitting areas and relaxing hammock. Stuart the host is incredibly welcoming and kind. We wanted to get away from busy life and spend the weekend close to nature and Stuart's place certainly delivered that. Would love to come back in the future.

Fishing Hut: quirky river cabin for 1-3

Dan PaulRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Ruth's place is very clean and comfortable. Beautiful cabin with great scenery, and nice walk in the countryside. If you're looking to get away to somewhere private and just relax away from other people, this is the place. Very private location, but also only 10minute drive from the closest town. Also about 45min drive to Edingburgh, if you do miss the city madness. The hosts were great, I would love to stay here again soon.

Annie's Horse Wagon Glamping Cabin

PollyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Comfortable, cosy space in a peaceful, private rural setting. The welcome breakfast hamper was a lovely touch, and everything needed for a four day stay was provided - including a stool to aid climbing into the bed, which was quite high! The hot tub was a real bonus too! Thanks Clare!

Kendal Retreat with heating and plumbed en suite!

AntonyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We stayed for 7 days in Janet's wonderful vintage caravan while on a hiking holiday for our anniversary. It was extremely well equipped, outdoing many full size apartments here on AirBnb, which was a pleasant surprise! Due to the compact nature of the place, space is somewhat at a premium, but we found everything we needed tucked away neatly into cupboards, drawers, etc. The area was very peaceful and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for, but with pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. just a short drive away. Very much recommended!

The Skewbald

CarinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an amazing stay at the Skewbald! Everything was great and we'd love to return. The lorry is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean and has a lovely bathroom with a fantastic shower (better than hotels we stayed in). The bed was super comfortable and we had a really good night sleep. We also loved the hot tub with beautiful views which was ready for us on arrival. The kitchen had everything you might need including tea and coffe. The hosts Rosemary and Martin are lovely and made us feel very welcome. They also introduced us to their beautiful horses and their lovely home. Thanks again for making this an unforgettable weekend away from the city!

The Garden Cabin & Hot Tub Todmorden

BenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, quiet, private, and hidden away. Nice and close to local towns that are within walking distance (if you don’t mind a bit of a hill). The location is stunning, accommodation is as described and Kirsty is very friendly. I would honestly recommend this booking to anyone considering it as there is not one single negative I can think of. Many thanks for having us and if we are to visit the area again we will likely rebook. 5 stars! Ben & Maddy

Esmerelda, The Showmans Wagon, Glamping

SophiaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Honeymoon heaven! Lovely glamping in peaceful surroundings. We stayed in the Showman’s Car Esmerelda. The warm bath tub was lovely and so much fun making the fire there and in the fire pit. We ate al fresco sitting looking at the sea. The welcome guide was really helpful. Tip: Book ahead for Filey restaurants on weekends as they get packed.

The Carriage - A first class experience

RichardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It is difficult to portray with words how outstanding this quirky accommodation is! We were looking forward to the novelty of staying in a train carriage but were not expecting such a high level of comfort, and really spacious living and dining areas, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The bed was one of the comfiest I have had in an air bnb and the shower was great! So many choices of places to sit and relax, with beautiful views from every window! The location was stunning, and I loved falling asleep to the sound of the river. We also loved sitting in the sun on the deck on the comfy outdoor setting. The train was so beautifully decorated, with quality and character filled furniture. There was everything you could possibly need for a stay, and we couldnt recommend Katie-Anne's property highly enough. Thanks for a holiday we will remember for a lifetime.
