This is the third time I have stayed at Martin’s place. Like the other 2 times, it did not disappoint. The only problem I had was the fact that I had to check out!!! Already looking forward to the next visit.

Beautiful place with lots of amenities and special touches. Great communication with hosts who were very friendly and attentive.

Mary was so lovely and welcoming. She was easily contactable and so warm and friendly. We were keen to have a bit of privacy and she left us to our own devices to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location of the apartment is really spectacular. Sitting in the hot tub looking out on the lake was a real highlight of the trip.

A very beautiful place in a perfect location! Would recommend for sure. Tip on parking: Parking outside on the street was a bit tricky for us as the parking app to pay wouldn’t work for our US phones. If you plan to park on the street be sure to have several pounds in coins to pay just in case.

Beautiful clean accommodation with everything you needed. Positive is that it was in lovely residential area, parking right outside and near to bus routes into the centre. Cannot fault it and would definitely go again when visiting Edinburgh.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely old building close to the high street. Well equipped kitchen allowed us to take a travel break and cook our own meals . Loved the library! So many interesting books as well as the collection and games! Enough to keep us amused for weeks.Thanks for a great stay. 😊

What a fabulous place to stay. We were met and shown around. Accommodation was perfect for a couple and the scenery and views were stunning. Anne made a cake which was delicious and Skye the dog was so friendly, even came for a walk. We could not have asked for better and will definitely come back if in Ireland but will stay longer.

The mill is stunning - beautifully restored and tastefully decorated with everything needed. A real home from home. Beds were comfortable and bathroom spotless. Walk into Kendal took around 20 mins with some good pubs and shops in the town. My daughters and I throughly enjoyed our stay… Some noise from children in lower apartment early in the mornings was the only slight negative… Highly recommend the mill.

I had a wonderful few days at Mark and Kristen's place with my dog. I've stayed in many properties at a similar price point in the area and this was definitely my favourite so far. The cottage was even more quaint and beautiful than the photos, and there were so many thoughtful touches, including welcome biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge, lovely bed linen and blankets for the sofa. Mark and Kristen were perfect hosts, super responsive with my queries. I would recommend their place to any friend looking for a peaceful place to stay for exploring the north eastern fells.

We love coming to Angela’s place! So serene and the view is gorgeous. I love that it’s a little bit of peaceful heaven but close to downtown. We brought our guests from America this time and they loved it too!

An excellent apartment with stunning views in a great location. The apartment is bigger than it looks in the photos, great bright living space with beautiful views. The apartment is very well equipped. Alan is a very responsive, informative host. I would highly recommend.

This is a fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. It’s well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and the information provided by Ryan was really useful. It’s easy is remote as described so we came prepared with all of the food and drink supplies we needed for the three days we were there however there was a great little shop on the complex nearby where we stopped for a couple of things during our stay. As suggested by Ryan we did the Carrick Castle Loop walk, the Donich Falls Walk, the Bridge of Orchy drive and hired a boat on Loch Goil. All of which were fantastic and we’d highly recommend. The Goil Inn and Boat Shed Cafe both served good food and were friendly and welcoming places to eat. Would definitely recommend a stay in the fabulous place.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Portree! The location was perfect— right on the town square, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the harbor. It made a great base for exploring the Isle of Skye, with several scenic spots like the Old Man of Storr and Quiraing only a short drive away. The accommodation itself was clean, warm, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the little touches—local guidebooks, fresh coffee, and enough basics for breakfast. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-located place to stay on Skye, I can’t recommend this one highly enough.

Dave and his place were as advertised - quirky in a great way! Really enjoyed the Legoland decor and the cat cafe down the street. So much to do and see. It’s a bit raucous at night, so not for you if you want peace and quiet. But you’re in a city, so to be expected! Highly recommend!

Great peaceful stay. Aaron does everything he can’t to make you feel welcome ahead of time. Lots to discover within a 30 min drive.

A lovely modern apartment - it was clean and tidy with essentials (e.g hand soap, dishcloths, towels etc) as described. Beautiful view outside the living room/bedroom, perfect for sitting outside even if its raining since the table/chairs are sheltered. Fast wifi which was great. Communication with the host was great. The closest cafe is lovely too however if travelling without a car other restaurants are quite a walk or bus ride away (10-15 min drive). Lots of long walks nearby - we walked to ambleside via the hills and it was beautiful. One thing to note is the site is quite hilly but it's to be expected in the lakes. Would recommend 👍

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

Kris’s Airbnb was the nicest place I have ever stayed at. The location was perfect, with restaurants, a gas station and a grocery store right down the road. The place was beautiful and breathtaking. Couldn’t have asked to stay anywhere better.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Whitbarrow. The apartment was lovely, with the special addition of the balcony overlooking the beautiful views, which we enjoyed with a cuppa or two. Our boys loved the toys and the drawing that was available to play with but, of course, their highlight was the pool. Local distance to Lowther, buttermere, Penrith, pooley Bridge, Keswick etc so lots to do. We’ll be back soon! 🙂

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!
