Excellent accommodation for our family of 7 with plenty of space and spare bedrooms with good local amenities and a beach close by. Only setback was the closure of the free public car park close by on the bank holiday which led to searches for space as close to the house as possible. This didn’t change our view of this excellent accommodation

Great place in a quiet spot good for colouring Cowal peninsula. The separate sauna and hot tub were even better than imagined. Great place for those with mobility issues.

We had a really great family reunion and the wonderful weather was the icing on the cake.

Lovely spacious home in a great location. Plenty of walks from the door and only 10 min walk down to the beach. Really good log burner which was welcome on the chilly evenings! Lobster Pot restaurant nearby is great for a meal

Lovely place very clean ,and the beds were very comfortable ,close to the station and a few shops ,if my daughter dosnt move from shotts i will book this again ,would definitely recomend .

Stayed with parents, it is the nicest place any of us have stayed. The site itself is a hidden gem. It's beautifully landscaped and the cafe has the best carrot cake I have ever tasted. All of the staff were lovely and the owners are really friendly and passionate about the site. The lodge is SO spacious, the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen has everything you'd need to stay here for an extended time. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the lodge. The beds are unbelievably comfortable and the blinds are black out. Outside there is a large decking area right around the lodge and lots of furniture. My Mam has Mobility issues which is why I chose this lodge and it was perfect for her. I can't fault it in any way, it was perfect - we will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The cottage itself was perfect. An upside house which was even better than the photos suggested. It was comfortable and well kitted out. The kitchen and lounge set up was excellent. The bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal for our party. The farm was an amazing place - peacocks, geese, ducks and hens wandering around the pond and grounds. We loved the bistro and shop. They added an extra and welcome dimension to our stay. The whole experience could not be faulted.

If this place is available count your blessings and book it .This place is idyllic for a peaceful stay in Dollar . Absolutely everything you will need a cosy comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed and right at home.. Maria has stopped at nothing to make this place perfect as soon as you walk in with a little basket of treats, everything you would need to have a light snack not to mention coffee along with milk in the fridge. It felt like walking into your home. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and stunning to take in the breathtaking landscape of Scotland with a short drive to so many iconic places to visit.Maria responded to any questions I had about the surrounding area and also suggestions a five star experience😊

An absolutely lovely place and not far from anywhere like Whitby bay Robin hoods bay were all within easy reach. Beautiful surroundings and a lovely restaurant down the road called the Grainary also lovely restaurant called the plough in Scalby which is a short drive away. The owners were so welcoming and so attentive. Very dog friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing experience there! So peaceful and close to nature Debbie the wellness therapist is the best. I would recommend everyone visiting ribblesdale to try booking with her!

Helen's place was a beautiful, peaceful base for our trip to this area. it was especially appreciated after a long day exploring Fountains Abbey which was the main focus of our stay.

Brilliant place to stay, accommodation was clean and relaxing. The view from the accommodation was stunning, looking out over the loch. Great location - 20 minute drive from some of the well known ridge walks. Super coastal walk from the door and 5 mins walk from the local restaurant & general store. Overall a lovely stay!

A wonderful place to stay with stunning views and easy access to popular hikes. The hosts were incredibly welcoming – Chris greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour of the accommodation, which made us feel right at home. We were also pleasantly surprised by a lovely welcome basket filled with goodies – such a thoughtful touch. We’ll definitely be returning soon!

What a place to stay!! From the initial booking and super communications with Steve, we’ve enjoyed the best few days in Scotland ever!! The bothy is in the most idyllic location on Mull, but at the same time only a short drive from the ferry terminal. We were met by Steve on our arrival (earlier than expected as the cottage had been free the day before..this gave us half a day extra really!) and showed around the property…wow, wow and WOW!!! The design, the immaculate presentation, the comfiest of beds..an absolute credit to Steve who has put so much thought and effort into such a wonderful place..and the view…well, there aren’t any words!!! We were blessed with beautiful weather whilst spending our few days exploring parts of the island (the bird life is exceptional!!) but if the weather had been different, we could’ve very happily stayed in the cottage just watching the tide roll in and disappear again!! I really enjoyed my stay at Little Gladsmuir. I was staying there while doing some work experience in gardens around St Andrews, after a long day working it was great to have somewhere cosy to come back to. The lovely garden and location made it really relaxing. The bed was comfortable and all the facilities were as described. The cooker and washer-dryer was especially useful for a longer stay. The location was convenient for getting into St Andrews and the local beaches. The bus station was only a short walk for getting further afield. I really recommend visiting the fishing villages like Pittenweem and St Monans and walking along the Fife Coastal Path. Jenny was really helpful and responded to any queries quickly. She made my stay in St Andrews a really nice, memorable one and I hope to visit again soon!

Beautiful location and gorgeous surroundings to explore - Achmelvich beach not to be missed

From start to finish, our break to The Old Barn was an absolute delight. I booked this accommodation, because the photos looked amazing and it was even better in real life. The Old Barn was tastefully decorated and everything in it was in excellent, clean condition. It was also very well equipped and as I like cooking our own meals, it made everything so easy for me. The view was picture postcard perfect and it was so relaxing looking out over the lake. I have never seen so many barn swallows before and adored watching them do their acrobatic twists and turns right in front of the property. The best animal by far though, was the owners Golden Retriever, Bertie. What an absolutely adorable boy he was, so friendly and sociable. He even joined my husband and our Border Collie for a walk. Although we didn't get to meet Laura, Ronnie was an amazing host and nothing was too much for him. He made us feel so welcome and at home. I was looking for a quiet break and this was perfect.

Very quiet, peaceful home and location. Spotlessly clean. Stayed as lone traveller felt safe and secure. Plentiful supply of teabags / coffee and milk plus biscuits great after a busy day / long journey. Plenty to see and do locally such as the Laxey Wheel, King Orrys grave and beach. Beach has mobile sauna on certain days of the week which is well priced. Close to excellent train and bus links around island if you’ve not got a car. Fantastic location away from hubbub of Douglas but road links mean only 10 min drive away. I had limited toiletries and no hairdryer due to flights luggage restrictions - Alison provided these items which I greatly appreciated. Clothes line by entry to accommodation to dry swim wear. Would highly recommend!

This was our second time visiting the yair, and it was just as I remembered. Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. Lots of walks from the doorstep to explore the surrounding area. Can't wait for our next visit.

This apartment offers everything you need for a stay in Orkney. Location is fabulous, right in the heart of town. Parking in front of accommodation. Spacious and well cared for. Great host. If we ever came back we would stay there again.

Cannot say enough about Kay & Michael's place! Kay & Michael were warm, friendly, helpful and accomodating. Their place was located close enough to walk to the grocery store and only about a mile from "downtown" Castlebay. Very well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils, towels, and everything else you could possibly need. Very comfortable bed too! I walked most places, but there is also a taxi service and bus stop at the grocery store that goes around the island. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to stay again!
