COVID 19 Update: Available from July for the perfect stay-cation in Galway's Westend! The apartment is located in a small building with only two other apartments. It is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between each guest and door handles/handrails are sanitised multiple times a day. Many of Galway's best restaurants and cafes are in the area, all doing take away menus until they reopen. Take away pints are available around the corner too! Supermarket and Spanish Arch 5 min walk. Salthill 15 min.
“Rebecca’s place was so nice, big and newly remodeled! She had everything we needing including a hair dryer, straightener and curling iron!! A real luxury on this trip. Not that the straight hair lasted long 😂. Also a washer/dryer combo. A few things we especially enjoyed about the area: the Galway west end is a lively area with many choices for dining. Crane’s pub is a wonderful local pub where we were treated to live traditional Irish music. We also enjoyed having a yoga studio right around the corner. However, the “family room” is big enough to do yoga. Rebecca has a nice big ROKU smart TV good for watching Netflix and other streaming services. Anyway, we highly recommend this place!”
My townhouse is located on a very quiet street which is just 3 minutes walk to Eyre square Galway city. It is in the heart of Galway with shopping, restaurants, bars, nightlife areas on your doorstep. Bus and train station are 2 minute walk from the house. There is an adjoining townhouse that sleeps 2/3 people which may suit friends traveling together.
“Clares apartment was perfect for exploring the heart of Galway. It was only a 5 minute walk to the Christmas market yet was nestled on a side street that was so quiet you would never know you were so close to everything. The apartment was clean and cozy, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We got a little lost trying to find the exact location and Clare was quick to answer my call and walk me through where to go. Absolutely perfect with a stress free stay :)”
“James and Mary are really wonderful hosts. They made me very welcome and provided all kinds of unexpected extra treats: a home baked scone, a piece of apple pie, a hot water bottle and the last day Mary gave me a lift to the station. The flat is sparkling clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The photos do not do justice it. There are two armchairs, one of which is so comfortable I spent hours lounging in it reading one of the novels provided. The bathroom is particularly suitable for elderly guests: handrails and nonslip bath mat. I hope that it will not be my last stay with James and Mary.”
