One tip. Stay in Caniço. A very nice little town with nice people and very relaxed. Accommodation in Funchal is expensive and the city is stressful and noisy. We recommend this place with all our heart!

Absolutely recommended accommodation. We felt right at home. Our host was very friendly and the apartment very nice. Spacious and super cozy. The communication was super quick and easy. We had everything we needed. The location of the apartment is also great. From the balcony, you can look out over the sea. There were some really good restaurants within walking distance. We will be happy to come back.
