Beautiful apartment, very well equipped. The kitchen has sufficient dishes in good condition, a coffee machine with capsules available and spices for cooking. Household and toilet linen are also provided. There's also a washing machine. A reserved parking space is highly appreciated. Claudia Luisa has small attentions like dropping off strawberries from the garden. She is very responsive to messages and her explanations are clear, including in the accommodation. And finally, this magnificent view from the living room and the small terrace where we watched part of the Funchal fireworks. Ideal location for visiting the island. Câmara de Lobos is pleasant in the evening for eating on a terrace and listening to music.

We had a wonderful stay at Olesea's place. Everything was a good fit for the description of the place. The lower level was, as described, rather low as regards the ceiling height, tall people should keep that in mind. From Gaula we were very well connected to destinations in the east and north of the island.

Such an amazing space! Our family highly enjoyed our stay. The home is more beautiful than the pictures. The pool was lovely and the location was great for hiking as well as trips to Funchal. We would love to come back again!

A beautiful apartment, but please be aware it is on a VERY steep hill. You can walk down to the town but even a relatively fit person would probably need to get a taxi back up. Taxi is around €7. Beautiful pool that is shared with apartment on the ground floor. Welcome pack was a nice surprise! Everything is as described in the listing. Cristina is a very responsive host. Roberto picked us up and dropped us back to the airport. Thank you! Madeira is beautiful. We will be back

The apartment was very clean, the surroundings very nice. The view is breathtaking. You get to the center very quickly!

The apartment and the view are unprecedented and offer everything you need. You can hear the highway and the airport, but the noise is manageable and not at all disturbing. A very big plus for Fátima and José, who were both extremely friendly and accommodating. They offered support at all times and were immediately available. A big thank you to both of them!

Amazing apartment in the heart of old Funchal. Close to all the major attractions. It has everything you need for your stay. Super comfortable living room and bedroom it also boasts 2 complete bathrooms. I highly recommend.

Madeira is a fantastic island. Well-served area, there are restaurants nearby. Thank goodness the accommodation includes a parking space as it is difficult to find street parking. Fantastic host, recommendable.

We had a wonderful stay at Susana and Carolina’s place! The location is perfect – very central, with restaurants, cafés, and shops just around the corner, yet the apartment is quiet and peaceful, right behind a lovely park. The flat is spotless, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped – especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. We felt at home right away and can 100% recommend this place. A big thank you to our hosts – we’d love to come back!

Everything was great! Perfect location

Great apartment. Everything as described. Tip...bring some shower/bath gel or buy some locally. There was only little bottles of shampoo. This was to start you off when you arrived, but, if you feel like a shower after a long journey it would be nice to have just a couple of small bottles of gel just for the initial shower or bath. It was quite noisy when we stayed with very loud building works with an excavator loading and crashing rocks and boulders into the lorries and travelling right past the apartment loaded with all of those 🥺 This was at the front of the apartment, so although we couldn't use the balcony there: thankfully the bedroom was at the rear of the property, so a lie in was possible when the work started early in the morning. However, this may not be the case for any future guests as they may have finished the works before they arrive. Other than this problem, we had a great time on this beautiful island ( our 8th visit and our first time in self catering)

The airbnb was nice and clean. Location was also good. Host was also very helpful in providing information about Funchal.

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. Gorgeous spacious apartment walkable to everything in downtown Funchal - restaurants, shopping the water, musicians in the restaurant area were so fun! (Not near the house). All of Funchal seems to have some construction especially behind this building but I suspect u can’t escape that anywhere in Funchal. Otherwise it was a fantastic apartment and would definitely rent there again. Hosts were wonderful

This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.

I consider my stay in Jennifer's apartment to be one of the best I have ever had. Our group felt very comfortable in the apartment, we had a lot of space and everyone could spend time freely. The view from the balcony was great, the view of the ocean and the surrounding banana plantations pleased our eyes. We prepared meals ourselves in the kitchen, which was fully equipped and there was a lot of dishes and cutlery. In the room with a grill and billiards, we had a great time in the evenings, everyone found something for themselves ;) I highly recommend staying with Jennifer, the best option you can find on the island. Nice little accommodation with everything you need, good amenities and Carla was very friendly and helpful with questions and if we needed anything. The windows were a bit cumbersome to operate but you can do that with a little practice. We would come back.
