Holiday rentals in Caniço

The size and layout of the apartment allow everyone to remain intimidated. It is decorated and tastefully furnished. We appreciated Artur's availability. Shops are very accessible on foot. The location of Caniço allowed us to discover the South of the island of Sao Lourenço in Calheta without going many kilometers. We enjoyed our stay.

This place was perfect for our needs and it was nicer than expected! It also came with a parking spot for our rental car (it's a bit tight though, so not sure if a big car would fit - it's good for small cars).

We have visited Madeira for long weekend. Flat was very bright, clean and spacious. Nice to seat outside on the balcony with coffee and watch sunset. Despite been above the pizza place and next to the road it was very quiet. We had taxi from airport as no direct bus to the apartment. Taxi was around €20 Bus 155 is going to Funchal and bus stop on the road near the flat block. Busses going in average every hour and cost €2,60 Lovely walks around. Just bear in mind it is a lot of ups and downs. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend flat. All as described and we had very pleasant stay.

Fantastic Stay in Caniço – Thank You, Ravi! Staying at Ravi’s place in Caniço, Madeira was an absolute pleasure. From the moment I arrived, Ravi made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. He was friendly, attentive, and always available for any questions or local tips, which really added a personal touch to the experience. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to the stunning ocean views and peaceful surroundings each morning was such a treat. The location is perfect — close to shops, restaurants, and just a short drive to Funchal, but still tucked away in a calm, scenic part of the island. Ravi clearly puts a lot of care into hosting, and it shows. I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and local recommendations that made my visit even more special. Highly recommended — I’d love to come back and stay again. Thank you, Ravi, for such a wonderful experience!

My wife and I had an amazing stay! Adam and Bogdan were both very responsive and helpful from start to finish. We were even able to check-in early which was very helpful. The house was even better than the pictures and everything from amenities, location, view, comfort - exceeded our expectations. Location is only 10-15 min away from the airport and similar distance from Funchal - making it very easy to get to many great spots. We already can’t wait to be back for our next vacation.

Absolute best stay on the whole island! From the entrance that made you really get a feel of authentic local cozy homes you see in paintings, to an absolute best host Fabiana, who was super helpful and responsive about anything at all, and finally the VIEW! Absolute surprise for us and worth every moment spent there. Super excited for the plans Fabiana has to further improve the place, will 100% recommend without a doubt and will most definitely come back some day!

Stayed for over 2-months at Jacque's apartment and had a great time there. The apartment is exactly like the photos: spacious, clean, and with fantastic ocean views. I found the location to be excellent, less than a 10-min walk into the local town where there are shops, cafes, and supermarkets. The local botanical garden, Quinta Splendida, is also very close by and well-worth a visit (free entrance and has a great cafe). As a host, Jacque was excellent: very friendly, responsive, and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jacque's apartment to other AirBnB guests. 10/10.

The place was just great. Already upon arrival, we immediately felt comfortable – everything was very clean, lovingly prepared and well equipped. There was really nothing missing. We particularly liked the quiet location and the fantastic terrace with the magnificent view of the sea. The hostess was friendly, warm and available at any time. Communication was straightforward and pleasant, check-in and check-out went smoothly. The comfort in the place was impressive for – we felt like we were in a hotel. Overall, it was a completely successful stay with great value for money. We would come back any time and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
