Holiday rentals with lake access in Brookhaven

Our host was proactive and stayed in contact from beginning to end. The home was as pictured, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were COMFORTABLE! This was a great home and it satisfied all our needs. A special thanks to our hosts, they were a pleasure.

Andrew and Kenneth were excellent hosts. Some of the most professional, responsive and attentive I have experienced. The home is cozy, and the space is really well used and appointed. Some of the appliances are a bit quirky -- like the washer/dryer, which isn't very effective; and the stove/oven which the hosts are aware needs some repairs. The location is lovely. Be prepared to listen to the ducks on the lake. They can be loud even during the night. The outdoor shower was the icing on the cake for me. I nearly stayed longer, except I had another opportunity overseas.

Chubba's Airbnb was exactly what was advertised and what we were looking for. It was a great space, very reminiscent of classic Long Island style, clean, well stocked, and very close to main street amenities. Chubba was responsive and friendly to my family which was really appreciated. I would highly recommend this airbnb, and will use it again next time I visit LI. Thank you for your hospitality!

Place was great. It was as described. It’s an older home with normal ware, it was very clean and beds were comfortable. The WiFi isn’t fast, but worked well. The neighborhood was quiet and I enjoyed it.

Yes, a Great stay....again! I think this may be our third or even forth stay here, which really says it all really. We are very happy when there is availability with Victoria and her Greenwich units, we are regular visitors to Greenwich every dew months and really enjoy staying somewhere as amazing and lovely, as this place, it really does feel like home! Had a great stay at Lisa’s home! Perfect size for a small family. The streets were a little narrow so we didn’t quite feel comfortable walking the neighborhood, but the surroundings were beautiful and it was very quiet and seemed safe. Lisa’s home was stocked with anything we may have needed, and felt like home away from home. It’s off the beaten path a bit, but there are plenty of restaurants, stores, and places to explore just a short drive away. Lisa was protective and communicative throughout our stay.

A Perfect Long Island Getaway! I had an incredible stay at this beautiful Long Island home. The property is truly stunning—it is nestled on a large pond with its own private waterfront and dockage. The views and relaxing atmosphere can't be put into words. We sipped our coffee by the water in the morning and really enjoyed the sunset from the deck. It truly felt like a retreat! The house itself is immaculate and thoughtfully stocked with the important amenities. From a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and stylish decor, it’s clear the owner put great care into making sure guests feel right at home. The location is amazing--secluded enough to enjoy nature and privacy, but still close to everything you might want to explore. Whether you're into boating, relaxing, or just soaking up beautiful surroundings, we were pleasantly surprised at all there was to offer. The host Joe was responsive and made the whole process seamless. We miss it already and can't wait to go back!

Place was gorgeous! It’s right on the water, mornings are just beautiful hearing the birds chirp while the sunrises with a cup of coffee. Area is super nice and peaceful. Super easy to get inside and the beds were comfortable, AC easy to use and operate, shower pressure was amazing as well lol. Loved my stay, Thank you !

Upon arriving we were taken with the location, beautiful and ample plantings and attention to detail like a bottle of wine and a variety of snacks to welcome us. The hosts were gracious, warm, gave us privacy, and great tips on where to eat. Cowfish in Hampton Bays is not to be missed. A large and private hot tub, comfortable lounges, and outdoor shower are just some of the amenities. A fire pit with water views was a great spot to unwind at night. The hosts gave us kindling and a lighter, and were very responsive with other asks and recommendations. It’s a great location with ease of access for both the North and South Fork. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Cozy spot in Long Island, was perfect for a weekend trip spent in Eastern Long Island

My wife and daughter came in for a soccer tournament. Initially it was 4 of us and a dog but we changed it as one of my girls plans got cancelled. Aseem had no issue accommodating the change and refunded the difference. The place worked out great. Thank you.

Adham & Yossr's place is the perfect place to stay if you are flying into LaGuardia and don't want to rent a car. We were able to walk to Citi Field, Black Sheep Coffee & Amigo's Deli (both on Astoria Blvd - Amigo's has a GREAT chopped cheese hero), as well as catch a bus or walk to the subway station if you're looking to explore Manhattan, Brooklyn, LIC, etc. The apartment was clean, spacious and exactly as listed with clear check in/check out instructions. It's in a quiet and safe neighborhood and even though it's by an expressway, you can't hear it. Comfortable bed and the shower was awesome. If we're ever back in Queens, we'll definitely book here again!

Great stay! The apartment was super clean and just as described. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our visit. We were even allowed to check in early, which made things so much easier. Would definitely recommend!

Susan's place was great and I would highly recommend. From check in to check out everything was great. Will definitely return if in the area again.

The place is a great spot to stay, nice and secluded with a pretty drive to get there. Def have a snow capable vehicle if driving in snow conditions. Lots of hills to get there and def a little treacherous. The home is a nice small cottage really only enough for 3 people tops, anymore and it’d feel cramped. Owner and team were quick to respond to questions or problems that arose. Just to note if weather conditions are not great there are possibilities of power cutting out. It happened constantly during my stay. Not the fault of the host just things to be cognizant of. This is definitely more of a summer place to stay, but otherwise we had a great trip and would absolutely come back to stay again! Lots of local places to eat, and a romantic little get away

My partner and I have vacationed in the Hamptons the last seven summers— almost always staying at a different place. But now having visited Richard’s lakeside cottage— I’m not sure we’ll ever be able to stay anywhere else! The cottage sits alongside one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in all of Long Island. We always made sure we were home each night to enjoy the beautiful sunset from our dock. The wildlife and landscaping that surrounds you while you’re staying here is truly breathtaking. We also came with our pup. It was a perfect spot for him to play, and for us to feel that he was safe. We were within 10 minutes of Main Street and Cooper’s beach! But still felt incredible removed and private. Such a great escape. And Richard was the perfect host! He has the perfect balance of being available but while giving us our space to relax and enjoy the vacation. Highly recommended!!

Adorable cottage across from a pretty lake. Private and quiet. Cottage was clean. Plenty of nice towels and hot water. View was beautiful. Bring your cotton sheets if you don't like microfiber, and bring your SS pans if you don't like non-stick cookware. Robert was very kind and responsive. Would stay here again!

What a lovely place!! My boyfriend and I had a great time sitting by the lake, going to the beach, and biking around in Southold. Larry was very helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Deb’s place was very peaceful, comfortable, and well appointed. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed the interesting decor and personal style. It felt like staying in your own bed and breakfast. There were so many places to relax, and the front and back porches were so welcoming. The location can’t be beat if you want to check out the local wineries, farmstands, and great restaurants. An easy walk across the street to Peconic Bay, you can see from the upstairs bedroom. Kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need for cooking. Short ride to markets, farmstands, and Love Lane for shops and restaurants, about 20 minutes to Greenport.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this spot and Monika. This is our second stay- my husband, toddler, dog and I loved it last summer and came back. The back sliding doors open onto a porch where birds chirp and visit all day. The bright green lawn under towering trees is perfect for playtime or a family picnic. Little touches of thoughtfulness and charm are just everywhere. Monika’s hospitality is unparalleled- snacks and a handwritten note upon arrival, homemade treats throughout our stay, and nearly instant responses. Without being asked, she even sent us a hand-drawn walking route for a dog and baby and directions for getting there. Beaches, playgrounds, town centers, bagels etc are a short drive. The street is busy so wouldn’t go for a nearby walk necessarily but thats pretty standard throughout the Hamptons. For parents of young kids: FYI there isn’t laundry, but truthfully I just packed more- that’s how much we liked it. A laundromat is also nearby tho!

This tiny, cozy space was exactly what we needed for an overnight place to relax and sleep, with a kitchen for us to make our coffee in the morning. We also felt we would have been quite comfortable there if we had needed to stay for a few days. The host was kind, responsive, friendly, respectful, and genuine. We will definitely stay here again. And the view! Gorgeous.
