Holiday rentals with lake access in Aquidneck Island

This was a fabulous destination! We were looking for a big place to have a special anniversary party weekend with extended family, and this house had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms upstairs and first floor, many common gathering areas, large kitchen and dining room tables, and lots of Space. (And this doesn't even include the explorable property outside.) The dozens of photos in the listing were very helpful, as well as the detailed descriptions. We had specific needs for elderly relatives with disabilities, and owner Lynne was so responsive in her replies to my many messages with varied questions. Truly, Lynne, you deserve a gold star from Airbnb for promptness and offering up ways and help that made our stay both easier and fulfilling.

We stayed here for a wedding at the local venue “the Lake Pearl.” David’s place was great. Very cozy and unique. Lots of beautiful art. We enjoyed it thoroughly. He was responsive to anything that we needed. Very private and nature filled backyard. Right up the road from the lake itself. Just as a note for those with little ones. The loft space albeit great for most doesn’t have a railing or wall blocking someone from the floor edge. Again. Fine for most but something to be aware of. We were ok with it but didn’t realize that when we chose the home.

We had a wonderful time visiting RI and staying here made it that much more enjoyable. The house is beautiful, the views were amazing, it was peaceful and relaxing. The property was clean and had everything my family needed. Everything was as pictured and better than we expected. Sarah was very responsive with communication. We couldn’t have been happier. I would go back in a heartbeat - Highly recommend!!

My family and I loved this lake house! It is so close to everything (only 10 minutes from Gillette stadium and numerous restaurants, etc.), but it still feels like the perfect get away! Mirror lake is beautiful, very quiet and serene, and this home is perfect for a family or couples staying together. We loved that the house had paddle boards and a kayak we could use, as well as a nice dock and outdoor seating. The home is newly renovated with comfortable beds and furniture and even a wood burning fireplace (and games for our kids including ping pong and video games!). Ed checked in during our stay and was very polite and helpful. We definitely plan to return to this home in the future and would highly recommend it for people coming to the area!

Kyle & Cindy were great hosts! Both communicated clearly about check-in even allowing an early check-in since we were coming from different locations with different arrival times. It was wonderful being able to spend quality time with my family.

Delightful stay at this beautiful house. Excellent location, waterfront, private and peaceful. House is beautiful and better than the pictures. Tastefully done up and very comfortable.Great host and very helpful.

Amy's place is spacious, with lots of different spaces to hang out and relax--from the pool to living room, sitting area, basement, game room, and nice outdoor space. The neighborhood was quiet and great for little kids, and Amy made sure to leave little touches for us when we arrived. Biggest downside were the beds, but if you like a softer/plusher mattress then even that would be great.

A blissful experience on this pristine property in Matunuck Beach. Wonderful finishes on the home with immaculate views of the marshlands. - private and secure location perfect sea views and MATUNUCK beach / everything you need to feel at home with amenities like bicycles, water sports, and outdoor showers with a LUXE feeling of opulence and privacy with the upstairs bedroom and private garage entrance - entry to the home with multiple wraparound, porches and seating for outdoor and indoor relaxation on both levels. loved the seating inside as it extended to the gorgeous outdoor space- thank you so much for this wonderful property. Hope to make this a yearly tradition, with that beautiful view of the Matunuck seashore. Aloha

This unit is absolutely beautiful and perfect for those who are looking for a peaceful and comfortable home away from home, while still having plenty of things to do in the area! As a young photographer who used to live in the area and still loves to visit this is truly one of the most beautiful areas to be in! The scenery and community is truly worth every cent and some more. The staff for this unit are excellent and very friendly people who do an amazing job! One day I hope to revisit this beautiful home.

The place was very clean and comfortable. The amenities were great - there was coffee and supplies for it as well as some bottle water in the fridge. The place was quiet and clean and in a good location. Sean communicated well with us and we had a nice time.

My friend and I stayed in another unit of Steven’s last year and had a great time & loved the area. We had a bigger group this year so stayed in this one, and everything was great. The apartment was clean and exactly as described, and Steven was very helpful and communicative! Would definitely recommend & stay here again.

Our stay at Kristina’s place was perfect for a weekend reunion at Brown. We were able to do laundry locally after traveling for a week and before traveling another two. It was quiet, serene and tastefully decorated. A great escape from the hustle and crowds of downtown providence and the brown campus. We needed more toilet paper and Kristina brought it within minutes. Great host and highly recommend the Airbnb! The bed was super comfy too!

Cute, quaint and quintessential New England cottage. A perfect place to rest, relax and unwind. A very quiet, private and peaceful retreat from the craziness of everyday life. Richard was extremely responsive and helpful for the few questions I had. I did not get the chance to meet him but maybe next time, I’ll certainly be back! If you love the proximity to the hustle and bustle of summer in Narragansett but prefer to be a few short minutes in the quieter bubble of Bonnet Shores, this is your place. 7am walks to the beach and 6pm wine on the patio for sunset. Pure heaven!

Marie and her husband were great hosts. It was very important to us that the place was clean, and her cottage was spotless. Communication was great and fast. Everything was as described.

The Hogan Cottage is a great getaway, offering peace and tranquility by a pond. The bird watching was incredible. I recommend staying here, as it is conveniently close to Bristol and Newport, and there are many great restaurants to delight your taste buds as well.

This was the ideal location for my husband and me to spend the holidays with our family who live across the lake. Will and John gave us a warm, friendly welcome and Quinn also checked in to make sure we settled in and had everything needed for a comfy cozy stay. It was easy to communicate with everyone and the location felt peaceful and private but not isolated. I can't imagine a more ideal experience and cannot thank Quinn enough for making this stay the best ever we've had with Airbnb!
