We had a great time hiking! That was the main purpose of our trip. Laura was a great host and very helpful and friendly!

I cannot say enough good things about this stay. The host was amazing answering questions almost as soon as I had written them, roses in the bedrooms, fresh flowers in the dinning room and living space. The place was spotless. The coffee bar made for great wake ups swinging on the porch swing and watching a fox walk down the lane. Sitting in the hot tub with the trees in moonlight watching the stars come out felt fantastic. This place had everything you could possibly need but forgot to pack and although the state park pass and the shops in town made for great adventures, I was seriously disappointed I did not have more time to just enjoy the lovely cabin. I could have been perfectly happy if I never ventured outside the cabin it was so nicely decorated and comfortable. We truly felt alone at the top of the world here. Thanks for the memories!

Have you ever wondered what a marina is like after it closes for the day? If so, then this is THE place to book. Although the exterior is modest, the inside wows! The balcony, with its phenomenal view of the lake, was a FANTASTIC place to have your morning coffee. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials, and there were thoughtful touches like amenity kits in the bathrooms. Stephen was very responsive and accommodating, and the manager, Jess, was wonderful and gave us some tips about events around town. It's conveniently located near Bloomington (we were in town for a graduation), but far enough away to avoid the crowds and the plethora of people. At night, the gate is locked, so it's just you enjoying the solitude. The only downside was our nav told us to go into the mobile home park across the street. If your nav says turn into an area with mobile homes, you actually need to go through the fenced-in area on the other side of the road.
