Germantown is a quaint neighborhood revitalized with restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. This newly constructed carriage house has all the amenities for any length of stay, including garage parking with room for bikes or kayaks. Only 2 miles from downtown Louisville, Germantown is nestled between the energetic and historic Highlands neighborhood, beautiful historic Old Louisville, and hipster NULU. Keyless entry makes for seamless check in and out.
“One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed. Better and more spacious than the pics! Very stylish and clean. Great location and amenities. Really appreciated the comfy bed, nice linens, well stocked kitchen, charging outlets, and many other amenities. The garage came in handy as we arrived in a downpour. Karen and Bryan were great communicators and sent us a notice prior to our arrival about the extra sanitary precautions done due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We will definitely stay here again when in Louisville!”
Lovely shotgun-style home 1/2 block from Louisville's best shops, bars & eateries! On a quiet street in the Highlands, 1910s charm combines w/ modern amenities to create a cozy retreat in a charming neighborhood. Parking on site!
“No reason to pass on this uniquely located little house. As a host, Andrew is on the ball, quick and accommodating in his replies. The house oozes charm, color, in a refreshing remodel. If you're not familiar with Bardstown Road, rest assured it is THE coolest, hippest street in KY, hands down with unique restaurants and shops galore. A 5-minute walk if that, we dined at Louvino during Louisville Restaurant Week and enjoyed the ambiance and food very much. So glad I chose this house for my out of town girlfriends visit!”
Hip modern amenities meet historic home in Shelby Park. Bike friendly, and a quick ride or drive to everything in the urban core - Nulu, Old Louisville, The Highlands, Germantown, Downtown and more. Easy access to the airport, to boot!
“Rachel's place, The Whale, was a perfect place for my family of three to stay while visiting my sister who lives on the other side of Shelby Park. Everything was clean, laid out logically, and it was easy to stay here. The guidebook had good information about the local area and the guest suite. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Louisville, give The Whale a try.”
