Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tulum

A truly perfect experience from beginning to end. I took my mom and a group of her friends here for a 60th celebration and everyone was so blown away. We felt so safe and comfortable the entire time. All of their suggestions were outstanding. Would absolutely recommend and am planning on coming back!

I spent a week at Villa Ikebana. It was fabulous. I was mostly working; it's a great place for digital nomads. But it's also very quiet and private and romantic; I would love to come back with my wife and have a real vacation. The house is lovely and spacious. The bed is extremely comfy. The AC and WiFi are excellent. The kitchen is well-equipped. The seating / dining areas are comfortable and livable. The outdoor spaces are really nice too. Both pools are lovely and private. The outdoor seating is comfortable. It feels wooded and natural when you're outside. (There is a nearby bar that plays loud music on weekends from around 5 to midnight, but other than that, you mostly hear the birds.) The neighborhood is fine. It's easy to walk to the restaurants on Calle 7. I had a rental car, and I was glad I did. It's easy to get around Tulum with a car. It wouldn't be necessary for staying here, but an ATV or bike or car makes it easier. I can't wait to go back. It's a lovely place.

If you are able to book this incredible location, DO IT! Perfect location, beautiful outdoor space, wonderful interior design, EXACTLY what we needed for a relaxing and refreshing vacation. Mirko is a tremendous host! His recommendations were SO incredibly valuable and spot-on! We were so relieved to have such wonderful suggestions for activities and restaurants; not having to spend time researching on where to eat and what to do was PRICELESS. We can't thank Mirko enough!

What a great time! Tanya was an excellent host and gave instructions and recommendations for everything we needed. The casita was adorable and the pool area was so relaxing. Tanya furnished groceries and the cupboards contained many basics presumably left from other guests: extra sunscreen, sunhats, vegetable oil, shower supplies, etc. All-in-all we had a fantastic trip! No regrets

Our stay at the Nahouse was absolutely amazing! The space was very peaceful and perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. We especially loved the natural pool and the jungle feel. The place was clean and spacious and the staff on site, Pascal, is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a calm and comfortable stay in Tulum.

The place is really great and worth the price! Be aware, you should rent motorbike or VUS. The place is really far from the city, and the taxi are expansives.

The accommodation is centrally located, the pool touched us warm in June! The room has spacious jaccuzi, just no bubbles, no use of the safe, the rest 10/10 😬 we were one night and we stayed one more 🩷

We had a truly wonderful stay. The space was beyond beautiful—an organic, tranquil oasis tucked right in the heart of Tulum. Every detail made it feel peaceful and thoughtfully designed. What really stood out was the host. She was incredibly sweet and supportive, especially when we ran into some unexpected trouble (our car was impounded while in downtown Tulum—nothing to do with the Airbnb). She went out of her way to help us navigate the situation and made a stressful moment feel a lot more manageable. We’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calming, beautiful retreat with a truly caring host.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exceptionally clean and the complex was great. The location was good and we were able to conveniently bike around town wherever we wanted to go. Cris was so nice and helpful with organizing amenities for us! We had such a lovely time and would definitely stay again!

This was my second time staying at this apartment, and I loved it so much the first time that I brought my husband back for his birthday, just two and a half months after visiting with my sister. That said, there are a few things first-time visitors should know: 1. Rent a car. The apartment is in a more remote area, and the road leading in is unpaved. It’s not difficult, but it might feel unfamiliar if you’re not used to driving on dirt roads. A rental car gives you flexibility and peace of mind. I wouldn’t recommend using taxis every time you want to go to the beach or into town—it adds up quickly and limits your freedom. 2. Fly into Tulum Airport. Now that the Tulum airport is open, it's only about 35–40 minutes away from the apartment. You’re only just a few miles from the beach and very close to the town, where you’ll find great restaurants, shops, and a more local vibe. If you’re a fan of Thai food, I highly recommend Sukhothai—it’s about a 10-minute drive. Overall! Great!!

Great place to stay. It was clean, smelled good, decorations were nice, no bugs, and the bed was super comfortable.

Felt right at home during my three-week stay. I had a truly pleasant experience and really loved the apartment, especially the two pools, one downstairs and one on the rooftop. The amenities were great, and the bed was very comfortable. The house was quiet throughout my stay, with very few people around. Despite the construction site in front of the balcony, noise was minimal and completely bearable. Santiago was a kind and helpful host who supported me with everything I needed. Would stay here again. Strongly recommended.

We stayed here for one night at the end of our honeymoon to be closer to the Tulum airport before our flight. It was a great choice! Erika and Alonso were very helpful during check-in and even greeted us with a complimentary welcome drink. Susan was super responsive and made everything easy. The private pool, fresh towels, and on-site security (which gave us peace of mind with our rental car) were great extras. The only downside was the heavy sea grass, but overall it was a really nice and relaxing stay.

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect — a true home away from home in Tulum! The location is fantastic, very close to the centro but still peaceful and relaxing. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The space was spotless, and thoughtful touches like slippers, toothbrushes, and razors made it feel extra special. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom had great water pressure, which can be rare to find. I also really appreciated the personalized key code — it was so convenient not having to worry about forgetting it! There were plenty of outlets throughout the apartment, making it easy to charge all our devices without any hassle. Parking was easily accessible, which was a huge plus for us. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for throughout our stay. They were always available to answer any questions, offer fantastic local recommendations, and made sure every detail of our trip was smooth and stress free. It truly felt like staying with a friend who wanted us to experience the best of Tulum.

Loved staying at Martin & Alan’s place, and we would definitely return. The condo was well secured, safe, clean, and not to mention gorgeous! Loved the private plunge pool, and we really appreciated the complimentary items such as ample toiletries, paper towel, kitchen items, and extra towels + blanket! Only thing i’d note is that the stairs to the roof plunge pool are quite narrow, so be mindful of that when booking. The shared pool was also really awesome.

We had a great time! The accommodation is beautiful, clean, quiet, with splendid pools and a rooftop offering great sunsets. The bedding was very comfortable. The staff is lovely and there is always someone at the front desk, which is very reassuring. The hosts were also very available. A few details to know: a little humidity and a few ants (current in Mexico), few towels, a dryer that does not dry very well (a laundry would have been convenient), a shower with a fixed head on the ceiling and a low water flow. It is essential to be transported: the accommodation is within walking distance but the roads are a little dangerous in this way and it is quite far from the center and the beach. By car or scooter, everything is very close. A beautiful and relaxing place! Thank you again!

Great stay! Only downside was there were only two shower towels and had issues with the AC kicking off during the day and in the middle of the night… Easy access to everything you want to do in Tulum!
