Good stay, very peaceful atmosphere Everything was spotless!

Arrived there a few minutes before check-in closed, and the host was there to greet us and give us restaurant, bars, and activity recommendations = easy and informative check-in! The room, terrace, and hotel itself was very clean and looked just like the pictures (staff cleaned everyday). The location was very convenient - everything was walking / biking distance. We never a got chance to but they have bicycles that you can rent at the hotel. There were instances were there was no running water but it wasn't news to us since we were warned that there could be water shortages beforehand. Also, this location is safe but if you still feel iffy no need to worry because the only way for you to get in and out of the hotel is with a key that they provide you with. The terrace was beautiful and very relaxing - best place to unwind after a long day - but if the weather is humid or don't feel like being outside just use the hammock in the room (AMAZING). Everything was honestly perfect for me! I will definitely stay at Casa Almendro when I visit Mexico again!

We LOVED our stay! The property was gorgeous, like a private oasis in the middle of town.. we stayed in the penthouse which was just lovely. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the area was within walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants, we didn’t want to leave!! 100% would recommend 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Thor was super attentive and helped us navigate all the best things to do in Tulum. This spot is secluded and away from the main city / beach area but just close enough for whenever you want to go.

The hotel is beautiful and is an ideal rest oasis. The road to the hotel is not ideal on the last 200 meters so be warned to take it easy. The morning classes are great but unfortunately some of them have been shifted to another hotel location. The food is really tasty so are the drinks, although the later are on the expensive side. We’ve already been here twice, so overall it’s a great deal in the low season!

Very good experience during my stay at Botånica. For a hostel, the facilities are luxurious. The beds are super comfortable and everything looks very clean. Located in a central area and you have the option to take a bike to get around much faster. The breakfasts are complete and very tasty. And best of all, the attention you get from the staff. Fernando is charming, he was attentive, friendly and helpful at all times. In short, if I go back to Tulum it will be to Botånica.

Everything is excellent. The space, the furniture and the kitchen are super good. Just be aware that the bathtub outside the room is at room temperature. Of course I would go back to this hotel. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended 👍🏻

I can’t say anything, but great things about this stay. The restaurant is absolutely amazing and has the most friendliest people. It is a nice ad with the rooftop pool Jacuzzi and bar. I had dinner up on the rooftop one night and it was awesome. I ate every meal pretty much at the restaurant.

We loved the Air BnB. Location - it is within the local area of La Veleta - a 15 min walk to the main road in town. Check out the bars on Cale Sur 7 - some excellent trendy places only a 5-8min walk away. We felt very safe, the locals were always friendly although not sure I'd want to do the walk solo at night, with my boyfriend was fine. The apartment was equipped well although we did not cook. Lots of space, modern, and we loved the private terrace with pool. It needs an extra sun lounger as there is only one. Communal facilities - not enough sunbeds in my opinion but otherwise very peaceful, quiet and friendly helpful staff who can organise bikes for you. It was a great base for exploring cenotes. After here we moved to Tulum beach & it was way overpriced - town/La Veleta is much more value for money. A taxi to the beach is $500p each way, but food drink is a third of the price. in future we would stay here and rent a scooter to get to/from beach area

It was a pleasure to stay at Luisa's place, everything was perfect Luisa and her companion are adorable and the cook for breakfasts is excellent A very pleasant stay and we recommend it without hesitation if we come back to Mexico we will come back to see Luisa See you soon and thank you again Hervé and Claire

Jorge is super chill, communicative and locally knowledgeable. His place os easy to book and has a cool courtyard near some great restaurants. Wish I could have stayed longer. Thanks Jorge!

This was such a wonderful stay! The space looks just like the photos and it is very spacious! The hosts were extremely proactive, responsive, and accommodating. The building is secure and makes you feel like you are right at home. There is a cafe just across the street and everything you could need is within walking distance. Thank you for hosting me in this beautiful space!

Very luxurious, well located, pleasant environment

Great and unique place to stay! We did not want to leave.

We had a lovely relaxing time in this lovely home on the beach. We were only six people but this house has seven bedrooms and seating for 16 so we had loads of space. The are many living spaces so even if you are a lot of people there is still space to relax. The onsite team kept the house clean and tidy each day, they even did our washing. They did an amazing job. Even when the power went out they were quick to bring online the backup generator so didn’t have any problems. The house is situated on Tankah bay, although no life guards its very calm and seems fairly safe to paddle board and swim. Bring your snorkel so you can see the coral and fish. It’s about 10mins drive from tulum, taxis and bus (with a walk) are possible but would highly recommend you rent a car to get to this house. There are security patrols so you feel safe all the time. Will be going back…

Lagoon hotel was an amazing place to stay for my first time in Tulum. The place looks and feels exactly like it’s shown in the pics, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here! El hotel Lagoon fue un lugar increíble para alojarse para mi primera vez en Tulum. El lugar se ve y se siente exactamente como se muestra en las fotos, y el personal era todo increíblemente amable y servicial. Definitivamente recomiendo alojarse aquí!
