Beach house holiday rentals in Tulum

This was a fantastic place. My husband and I came down for a quick visit and had a wonderful time here. Everything was perfect down to the privacy, the outdoor seating, beachfront. I loved that I could open all the front doors and allow the constant ocean breeze to roll through the house. There were great restaurants and shops within walking distance from the beach. Our host very communicated with us from the time of booking till we left. He gave us suggestions for different places to eat and things to do. The staff was amazing! Every day the cleaning service would come by and tidy up the sand and the salt covered windows to keep a beautiful view all the time. Reed our host set up a Couples massage one evening at the villa that was so good. This was worth every penny, and so much better than being in the resorts.

We had a wonderful week at Mataray Tulum. The place is beautiful and peaceful and having the private beach made all the difference. But importantly, the staff were incredible. So accommodating and friendly, and always offering advice on where to go for dinner or excursions. There was never a tie that we didn't feel taken care of. The accommodation was amazing. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and my husband and son had great fun in the evening playing pool upstairs. The balance of having your own accommodation, but being connected to a hotel if you want food or drinks was a great combo! We will definitely come for another visit.

The setting was beautiful. Right on the beach. amazing sunrises, peaceful ocean breezes and sounds through the night. I was pleasantly surprised that the wifi was good. The refrigerator was larger than expected. I wish the kitchen had a large knife and a couple extra cutting boards for cutting fruits and veggies. My family is vegetarian. It would have been nice to have some tupperware for left overs. Overall a wonderful experience and great memories made. It was exactly what we were looking for in a quaint authentic beach experience. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION ! This place was a few steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the best part was that it was lonely ! Juan Luis was very attentive and such a great host ! Only negative comment was that there was hardly ever any hot water. But other than that, it was great !!

Beautiful stay, could not be a more perfect spot to snorkel right off the beach. Great for nature lovers — a quiet, restful spot; two restaurants within walking distance, very nice responsive staff help you get set up with transport and tours. Would come back again!

We could not have been happier with our stay at Rancho San Eric. The Casita was comfortable and located a few steps from the beautiful south Tulum beach. We like peace, quiet and privacy and we got it! No loud "boom boom". Just the sound of the the ocean breeze. We are planning our next visit already :) This is a very special location and the property was extremely well run with an eye for detail. Thank you Stefan and Hui!

The premises are very beautiful, a handful of villas on a clean, well-kept site, and your villa is steps from the beach. The villas are in the lovely rustic MX Riviera style, nicely furnished and airy. There are loungers and chair for you on the beach. The maintenance staff are on the job all day, cleaning and grooming the villas and the compound. We had a hard time finding the place upon arrival--mainly because one of the geo-locations on the listing is wrong by several hundred metres. Maybe that should be fixed? That was the only complication. Turns out, if you're driving along the Tulum beach road, you'll see a sign that says "Playa Selva" and you're there. Selva is one of the last generation of the original Tulum eco-resorts, worth it even at the cost.

Our extended family of ten stayed very comfortably in this lovely house. We enjoyed the space, the comfortable furniture, great snorkeling, and a lovely meal made by Jerry and Isabella. The house was as pictured, we found it peaceful, safe, and private. We loved sitting on the beach, and found the kitchen well supplied.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sergio's villa. I was celebrating my 30th birthday with my family and 2 babies, and it was such a comfortable stay with more than enough room for us all. Juan was our concierge and was extremely friendly and helpful. He greeted us upon arrival, helped with our bags, offered recommendations for dinner in the area and gave great advice for getting around. The villa looked exactly as it did on the photos, it is just stunning! It also is pretty close to theTulum beach strip (once the construction of the nearby path is finished) otherwise, it's about a 15-20 minute drive. That being said, you can tell the area that the villa is located in is up and coming, and it'll be quite nice once it's all said and done. I would just say if you are bringing small children like we did, it helps to know that there is possibility of a little construction noise in the earlier hours of the morning. Otherwise, 10/10 stay!

I found the place great, cleanliness, order and location. Minimal details that can increase the experience is access control with surveillance and outside lighting in the evenings. Overall everything was great, the communication with the hosts was favorable and attentive.

We had an amazing stay! The space was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing trip. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. Four of us stayed at Jessica’s place and had a great time. The villa looked exactly like the photos, though it felt a bit smaller in person. One thing to note: the beach isn’t directly behind the villa as one picture might suggest — you do need to drive there. The gym, pool table, and large pool are communal and located just a short walk away within the complex. The villa was clean and well-stocked with dishes, utensils, and everything needed for cooking. The only confusing part was that the address led us to a gas station, which is actually right in front of the villa. Also, in our unit, there were small gaps under the front and upstairs doors that let in a lot of flies — probably around a hundred during our stay. That said, Jessica was a fantastic host — super responsive and helpful. I’d definitely stay with her again.

Very comfortable place, an excellent location, with amenities around, they always responded to me at the first time, I only liked that the private pool was heated... although it seems that in Tulum no pool has. I highly recommend the place.

The location is close to local restaurants and attractions. Daniel was very responsive and helpful in all communication. Such a beautiful and unique area/home. Quiet and had plenty of space for the family. Space was clean and welcoming. Not far from the Tulum center and surrounding attractions.

The house is a dream, it is fully equipped and furnished with very good taste, it is much nicer than the photos! Very large and comfortable, I fell in love with the sunsets from the rooftop, has quite a few amenities, and is 5 minutes from the beach. Mika was always attentive and we loved her recommendations and agreements, I'll be back for 10 of 10 😎

I’ve been to Tulum many times and have stayed in many different airbnbs and this by far has been my favorite! The home itself is gorgeous and so spacious, it is also very well located and only steps to the main bars, restaurants and beach! The staff was incredible and so very helpful. Can’t wait to come back!
