Elizabeth is an excellent host! It is very clear even before you set foot in her immaculate Garden Flat that Elizabeth puts her heart and soul into taking care of her guests and making sure they are comfortable. Many days before we arrived, she gave us directions and asked for our input into some treats that she was going to leave for us. The first thing that greeted us (after Spotty, her beautiful cat) was the wonderful aroma of a warm, homemade loaf of bread. The three of us devoured most of it that evening! She gave us delicious eggs from her hens (we’d never seen a blue shelled chicken egg before) honey from her bees and milk for our coffee and tea. She invited us to choose some greens and strawberries from her garden. I made a wonderful salad for our supper. Elizabeth gave us perfect recommendations for things to do. We loved seeing the dolphins! It was a short but memorable stay in Ardullie. Thank you, Elizabeth for all of your hard work and for taking good care of us!

Beautiful crofters cottage which has been meticulously updated set in a peaceful countryside setting. Following the hosts guide, we had no trouble finding it. Thoughtful little extras were left for us to add to our enjoyable experience.

Foulis Castle is absolutely amazing. We wanted to stay in a castle in Scotland and this didn’t disappoint. We wished we could have stayed longer. We stayed in 3 different places over a week in Scotland and this was our favorite. The castle is so private and peaceful, but close to Loch Ness, Inverness, Culloden and Cawdor Castle. We stayed in The Pavilion and it was so cozy and felt like home. We did laundry and sat outside on the swing set during sundown. The beds are comfortable and the towel warmer in the bathroom actually works. Ohma was super helpful with local attractions and any questions we had. We ate breakfast right down the street at Highland Farm Cafe and it was the best breakfast ever. 10/10

Nat and Ben are very welcoming hosts with beautiful values. Their Byre is beautiful and relaxing. A very pleasant experience for nature lovers. Looking forward to coming back for a future stay, it feels so good. Thank you for your kindness and for sharing this atypical and charming place.
