Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Southern Indiana

We travel from Midwest to East Coast. Her place is located in the half way point. To have a house located which easily to hop out and hop back into the interstate is amazing. The host provides clear instructions and truly responsive. We feel like home.

We were in Bedford for a funeral, so it was good to have a quiet home in which to rest and prepare. We arrived very late, close to eleven pm, and Rowena waited up to greet us and arrange for our breakfast needs. This was an imposition for her, I'm sure, but her communications and welcome were gracious. Everything was clean and tidy with plenty of room. The chair in the room was so comfortable my husband took a nap upon it after Rowena's filling breakfast; perfect for quiet reading. There is not a TV in the room, which was a lovely nod to quiet and simplicity. Other notes that I did not read in other guests' reviews: the tub-style shower had a hand-held nozzle, there are plenty of outlets and even charging docks on the nightstands, the toilet is elongated, the queen size mattress was firm but not hard, good sized closet with plenty of coat hangers and suitcase wrack, a convenient beverage and snack area outside of the room. Rowena served a lovely breakfast and is a gracious host.

the host was absolutely Sweet and kind. she left us snacks and beverages as well as a nice tour of her lovely home. she seems very hard-working which is even cooler for her to take some time out of her work to help us with anything that we needed help with. the neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. I would highly recommend, especially near the Cincinnati Liberty City area

Sherry was very responsive prior to and during my stay. Private room and space was clean and exactly as described! The location was perfect for driving in and out of downtown Cincinnati.

Lovely vacation stay! The restoration of the church made this such a unique and fun experience. Excellent hosts.

The environment was peaceful and quiet. The accommodations were neat, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome and the staff were friendly and polite. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The mansion itself feels like a large country home with two screened-in porches, a parlor, dining room, and drawing room, all beautifully decorated with antique and comfortable vintage furniture. but with modern conveniences like internet and a Kuerig that is available all day and night. The stairway landing has a huge golden stained glass window--walking downstairs for breakfast in the morning, you will be bathed in light. It's gorgeous! We stayed in the suite on the top floor, which was quiet and private and comfortable. The owners live onsite--this is not a place where you pick up a key and are left on your own--and they provide just the right balance of southern hospitality and personal space. I highly recommend staying here, whether you want to go have fun out in town or just relax and have a quiet weekend reading and taking walks in the neighborhood.

We truly enjoyed the relaxing weekend at this beautiful inn. Our room was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was available. The breakfasts were tasty and filling. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and shared great local information and recommendations. We would be happy to visit again if we have the opportunity.

Art on High was a great spot for me. Easy to find and just a block away from Main St. I loved being able to meander through the quaint downtown so easily. The room and especially the bed were very comfortable. Bear in mind, this is a very old house and is a work in progress, so the creaky floors and squeaky doors are part of the charm. I wish the patio had been available, the weather was perfect and it would have been nice to have a place to sit outside. Once that area is finished, this will be the perfect place to spend a weekend!

Great hospitality, beautiful property and exceptional value. Will be back for sure. A true gem on the Bourbon Trail.

Lovely place, perfect location close to everything and peaceful serene at same time . Hosts were extremely nice and responsive. Loved the smores, firepit, bunk beds for kids, the outdoor swing, games, and delicious breakfast. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Beautiful home and grounds surrounded by lush horse farms… A piece of Heaven! Amy greets us with a warm welcome and tour of the space, it was impressive. In the morning we awoke to fresh brewed coffee and a chefs breakfast of eggs Benedict, absolutely yummy! Over all it was one of our favorite air bnb’s and an exceptional value!

Ann was very helpful and accommodating during my stay. I forgot some belongings and she was able to get them back to me without any trouble.

We were here for just one night, but we absolutely loved our time at this beautiful, historic hotel. The surroundings were beautiful. We really enjoyed our delicious breakfast and learning all about the history of the hotel and the area. We would love to visit again sometime.

Eric was fantastic! We had a slight issue with the electric(Not the hosts fault) and he personally came to the camper and resolved the issue in a timely manner! The place was amazing and the area gorgeous and full of adventures!

I LOVED staying with Regina, five stars doesn’t feel like enough! She was incredibly kind, very responsive, and made sure I had everything I could possibly need! I was able to have excellent conversations with her, as well as other guests over breakfast. Breakfast was simply fantastic, I have no words except that you should eat it…seriously. The house felt very safe even though there were others staying (that was a concern of mine), locks on all the bedroom doors and bathrooms, and I don’t see Regina putting up with any nonsense. When I left, I felt like I was leaving a home away from home and couldn’t have been more grateful to stay there. I wish I could’ve stayed longer and will definitely be back!

What a great find! The space is situated in a quiet neighborhood in beautiful surroundings. The room itself was well-equipped with lots of options for lighting and lots of room to spread out. I especially LOVED the soaking tub with plenty of hot water.... so peaceful and relaxing. Exactly what I needed!

I cannot say enough good things about Sheri and Sam's home, they are amazing hosts and my parents felt right at home. Sheri went above and beyond to communicate consistently and to help my parents, as they have been greatly struggling with mobility lately. She had the perfect demeanor and background to help them, and even helped them pack their car on Sunday before they left. The price is wonderful and it's a short, pleasant drive to Bloomington, with breakfast provided! Our private dinner with Sam was DELICIOUS, and worth every penny. Sam took great care to provide a dinner that accommodated my Celiac disease, and we felt so comfortable and taken care of. We would recommend scheduling a dinner if you can, Sam has a passion for cooking and both Sheri and Sam are kind and passionate hosts. To quote my parents "Sam and Sheri are such wonderful people, really cool backgrounds and they would be great to just be friends and hang out with them".
