Farmstay holiday rentals in Southern Indiana

We have a wonderful stay here. It was clean, comfortable and peaceful. Loved the location near Shades State Park and Crawfordsville was easily accessible for restaurants. Great hosts!

This is my third time staying at this property as travel to Louisville from work every 2-3 months. It is absolutely stunning. Waleed is a great host and very prompt and helpful in responding. Property is exactly how it’s listed. Great area to stay with beautiful surroundings and great restaurants at walking distance. Highly recommend the place.

We loved our stay at the little house next to the Ark! My kids adored interacting with the animals and we had fun trying to find animals “on safari” on the cute little nature hike that was set up. Also, 10/10 on the comfy bed. We’ve done a fair amount of traveling and visiting lately and this was by far the most comfortable bed we’ve come across. Also, extra care was taken to make the hide-a-bed comfortable for my kiddos. If you plan on doing The Creation Museum/Ark Encounter or just enjoy a little Kentucky relaxing it’s a great place to stay!

Bill was an amazing host, the pics do not do it justice. We were greeted by the welcoming committee or as I lovingly refered to them a gang of attack chickens. They were super cute and friendly. We spent most of our time on the lake fishing during the day and fished the pond in the evening. just a great place to relax and get away from everything and connect with nature.

This was our second stay and we will def be back. The property is beautiful and peaceful and has gorgeous porch views. The house was cozy and kitchen fully stocked.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage! Zella and Stephen were the sweetest hosts, and extremely accommodating. They made sure to check in on us and were immensely helpful if we had any questions! We had the pleasure of trying some strawberries, eggs, and jam that Zella and Stephen provided from their farm and hens. They were all delicious! If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay, this farm is perfect. We loved it, and if we are ever in the area again, we would love to stay. Amazing hosts and experience!

If you are looking for that private getaway for two, then look no further! It is perfectly located in the heart of bourbon country! But secluded enough that you're not in the middle of the mess! So quiet and peaceful! And the host, Jackie, was incredible! My wife and I talked to her for quite a while! Do yourself a favor and get to know this incredibly interesting woman!

What a perfect place to stay for a golf weekend with the guys. The property has spectacular views and is very secluded. The house itself is beautiful and has an amazing amount of room and an amazing deck that we thoroughly enjoyed. And within driving distance of many activities. Definitely recommend this place!

Barbara's Barn Loft is perfect for a peaceful and serene getaway! We were warmly welcomed by Barbara's friendly and gentle goats. The loft has a cozy and warm aesthetic with amazing views from every window. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish including delicious breakfast and charcuterie board, relaxing on the deck and ending the evening by the fire pit. Thanks for an amazing stay, Barbara!

Absolutely incredible stay! One of the best Air BnBs I’ve ever stayed in. The pictures look great, and then when you get there & it’s 10x better than you thought it would be! Super easy walk to Makers Mark and very central to a lot of other distilleries in the Bourbon trail. Not to mention the peaceful creek steps away from the side deck (great for sipping your morning coffee). Book this spot!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You have to book this Airbnb! What a gem to find so close to the downtown areas of Indianapolis! As a host myself, I can absolutely see how much time, and hard work has been put into this lovely space. From the farm animals, cozy bedroom, amazing views with outdoor seating, fire pit, and the farm animals ( cutest baby goats ever!) and farm decor, this place is like no other in the area! Would love to come back and spend more time here! Our pup absolutely loved the dog friendly amenities. Water & food bowls, towel for his muddy feet, treats, fenced in huge yard, absolutely amazing!

Lana was a great host! She was very friendly and maintained constant communication throughout our stay. She even stayed up until 1:30am to make sure we arrived to the Airbnb safely after driving through severe storms. The home was extremely clean and very peaceful. She provided just about anything you could ever need to feel right at home and comfortable. What stood out most was her kindness and intentionality. The handwritten note greeting us, a binder full of recommended restaurants and activities, homemade bread, and coming out to say hello to us. I could not have asked for a better host!

My wife and I didn't have a lot of interaction with J.T., because we didn't need to. Everything from how to get there, to getting inside, to the amenities provided was clearly explained in emails leading up to our arrival. The one time we did reach out, we received a response within minutes. J.T.'s place is in a beautiful setting just outside of Bardstown. Complete with friendly horses in a pasture behind a fence, just a few yards outside of the back door. We would highly recomend "On The Rocks" and would love to stay there again the next time our travels bring us to Bardstown.

We have a large family and have stayed in a lot are air b&bs. Lisa’s by far is my favorite. From the freshly picked flowers on the sun porch table when you walk in to the night lights and fully stocked kitchen she has thought of anything you might need for your stay. We had the opportunity to visit with Lisa and her husband and truly enjoyed the conversation and she even shared some of her home grown strawberries with us. The porch is perfect to sit and watch the sunrise or sunset and listen to the birds. Her home is clean and cozy. They even had toys and books for our kids, I wish we could have stayed longer. We would love to come back!

First time renting an airbnb was a success, definitely better than a boring hotel

Loved our stay in their beautiful home. We were all in love with it and it was perfect for all of our needs. Great location if you’re planning on going on the river.

We had a wonderful time at Josh's Sanctuary!! The place was so beautiful! I highly recommend this beautiful gem! We were there for my wedding with family. Lots of things to do. Perfect place for my grandchildren! Josh is very responsive and kind! Thank you Josh for letting us make memories at the Sanctuary!

We traveled with a group of 10 to the Farmhouse. We had a great time. The kids loved being able to see the cows across the street. House was clean with plenty of amenities. Gina really thought of everything. We will be staying again for future trips to Holiday World!

An awesome stay on a beautiful property in horse country. So quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch and taking in the view. We were in town for a music festival and the location was great! Just far enough away from the traffic of the city but close enough to still be convenient.

Had a blast. The zip line was a hit for the girls. They loved feeding horses. It was a great get away. We definitely will stay here again the next time we are in Lexington.

Very awesome cabin! We enjoyed it and the surroundings very much! Clean, cozy, and large living space with everything we needed and more! We Louisianians were pleasantly surprised to even find Tony's seasoning in the cabinet! We enjoyed hearing the birds and the frogs and watching the fire flies at night- wonderful atmosphere! We also appreciated the binder with information on things to do/eat/ places to go locally. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the back porch of this quiet cottage, everything went smoothly from booking to checking out!
