I have been staying at Mel's place several times/year for 4 years now and I am sure that once you stay there you will be coming back again and again. It has that home away from home feeling--clean and comfortable with kind and trustworthy people. You can be also confident that whatever situation comes up Mel has city info to make your life easier. And then there's the wonderful food to start your day off with--they are such great cooks! Truly a one of a kind Airbnb and you are lucky enough to be visiting West Lafayette and able to try them out. Don't hesitate to book your stay!

We had a wonderful 2-night stay and really enjoyed this home in the woods. The room was comfortable and quiet. Continental breakfast delivered to our door each morning was yummy and Vicki made a special effort to make sure it was gluten free for me. The grounds are beautiful and the pool looked inviting, though we didn’t take advantage of it. We appreciated the proximity to the Dunes parks/beaches during the day, and the short drive to many restaurants in Chesterton in the evening. All in all, a very pleasant stay. We would happily stay again!

Teresa is one of the best hosts I came across after staying in many previous Airbnb's. She was very sweet and helpful. Upon our arrival, she prepared amazing welcome snacks and beverages, gave us a tour of the house, which was spectacular and made sure we have everything we need. In the morning, we were greeted by amazing breakfast. I strongly recommend to everyone and will definitely come back if I'm in town next time.

We booked multiple rooms for the family to attend Purdue Graduation. The stay was for only one night, however, it was so much better than a hotel. The home was inviting, beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. We enjoyed waking up to coffee and breakfast made by Beverly! We also loved the upper patio that overlooked the front, enjoyed the morning sun and peaceful environment! We would enjoy coming back, and staying longer to explore the area.

This stay exceeded my expectations!! I am so glad I stayed with Jeanne and Jim rather than booking a hotel. Breakfast being included was such a nice touch, and I thoroughly enjoyed conversations Jeanne and I had each morning. I would definitely stay again if I find myself back at IU in the future! ❤️

After multiple delayed flights I arrived close to midnight and Barb welcomed me at the door. She offered to fix me food without hesitation, and went out of her way to feel at home. My suite was beautiful and very comfortable. One of a kind and a must stay! I am never staying anywhere else.

One of our favorite Bed & Breakfast experiences for sure! Home was beautiful, hosts were gracious and full of knowledge about the area and breakfast was amazing! We appreciated access to the butler pantry for home-made snacks (hello lemon bars) and drinks throughout our stay. If you’re visiting South Bend or passing through, it’s worth an overnight visit.

This historic mansion was absolutely gorgeous! It was such a treat for us to stay there for our Anniversary. The recommendations for restaurants were great. We dined at Brooklyn & the Butcher per Ron’s recommendation and it didn’t disappoint in the least. I can say we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hot breakfast served in the morning was delicious and far exceeded what I expected. The room was beautiful and the claw foot tub was a delight and relaxing. I would recommend bringing your own pillows and possible mattress topper though. We didn’t sleep well, but we are used to a sleep number bed. We also had people lodging in adjoining room and you could hear most everything (talking, TV, walking around) going on in each others rooms. It wasn’t very sound proof. Those are only qualms with our stay, but I don’t think it would keep us from coming back. Everything else was stellar. Ron gave us a great tour at check in and a full history of New Albany all the way back to Civil War era.

We spent 4 days with Host Gary at his B&B in the Old Northside. Gary is a super host! He was there for a warm greeting when we arrived and provided friendly chat and interesting details about his lodge and the area. We had a different hot breakfast every morning, delicious home baked goods and coffee – and plenty of snacks in the evening. The inside of the home and our bedroom were excellent. Plenty of beautiful woodwork, artwork, photos and antiques to keep you busy looking and asking questions. Nice private parking area and grounds in a very walkable area of the city. The price was very reasonable - especially considering the week we were there had full hotels for conventions and this home was very luxurious. We highly recommend this lodging and would stay here again.

My stay was great! Eugene responds super quickly any questions and sends very detailed instructions. Your room has its own electronic locker and feels very spacious. Everything was clean, and linens and towels were of decent quality. There is plenty of free street parking, the wifi works well and the place is very quiet so it's good for working or studying from there.

Lovely place, perfect location close to everything and peaceful serene at same time . Hosts were extremely nice and responsive. Loved the smores, firepit, bunk beds for kids, the outdoor swing, games, and delicious breakfast. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Paul and Susie were wonderful! Their home is lovely and peaceful, just what we needed. Breakfast was delicious. You will not be sorry if you choose to spend time here. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I saw some poor reviews of this place but needed a place for the Taylor Swift concert and we were pleasantly surprised. I got the feeling this place is trying to improve, and it shows. The Paris Suite is on the first floor so it's easily accessible, it's very spacious, clean, and has a huge tub if you choose. The TV/Netflix worked fine, parking was a cinch, and the continental breakfast had coffee, tea, milk, OJ, three kinds of cereal, two kinds of instant oatmeal, pkgs of muffins, crackers, chips. All in all, we were pleased with our stay.

I can’t say enough great things about Shelly’s Airbnb stay. We had never stayed at an airbnb with the hosts present and it was wonderful Great breakfasts and they treated my wife and parents like family. Great location for access to anything on ND campus. Safe nice neighborhood The basement is very private and was great to relax with our family. Everything was well communicated and checking in was simple.

April's place was spotless and spacious. The room was huge and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Bathroom was right next door. She was very welcoming, flexible and accommodating and easy to be around. She also gave me great tips for where to eat and explore in Marion. Breakfasts were delightful and we enjoyed some awesome conversations. I would definitely come back!

Perfect place for a quick trip. Location was a short drive to Purdue. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.
