Holiday rentals with a hot tub in South Hams District

Trystan was an incredibly kind and helpful host, really accommodating and went out of his way to make sure all of the kiddies were happy and comfortable. If you’re looking for child friendly accommodation this is it, there is every kind of toy and car available for the kids to play with, very easy and a fun house to stay in. Beautiful gardens and a great location.

This property’s location is perfect, whether you want to stay on-site and enjoy the vistas of Dartmouth or use it as a base to thoroughly explore the environs. It’s only a short walk into Kingswear, where there is a car or foot ferry to get across to Dartmouth or the steam train which will take you to Paignton. Communication with Mark was thorough during every stage of the booking and stay. The accommodation is divine and we’ve rarely slept so well; a combination of the Savoir bed and serenity within this hillside property. Nothing about the host, property or location could be faulted; exemplary in every aspect.

This is a very special property. Large, beautifully laid out and equipped. We appreciated the fabulous location, the gorgeous kitchen with 3 ovens and 2 sinks and great space for us all to eat and the comfort of the beds. We also loved the cosy lighting and furnishings., The cows in the field were an added bonus. We loved this place and will likely rebook. Thank you.

Splendour House was just what we expected for an extended family holiday in Paignton. All facilities were available which was good as the weather was not what we’d hoped for. Tom is a great host and would recommend Splendour House to large families for its location and enclosed back garden. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Tom & Co.

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

Beautiful place for a family weekend. Rachael was very clear with her instructions. The jacuzzi was fantastic! Would definitely recommend for family getaway!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Nile are a awesome man how help me a lot. My plan with the without the house couldn’t take me and my friends, so we were standing without anywhere to live thanks to Neil. My wife didn’t divorce me.

Shackled-Am-Not is definitely at the top of places we have stayed at. From the luxurious kitchen with plenty of kitchen gadgets and lots of equipment for the whole family, to the beautiful lounge area with plenty of seating for everyone to have a great catch up on the evening. The bedrooms were so clean and comfortable, the en-suite bathrooms was a lovely luxury. We enjoyed the games room playing pool and darts. Would like to say a massive thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, we will definitely recommend it to our friends and family and would love to stay again. Lovely few days away in a small complex of lodges, staff on site very approachable and a very short distance to the lake. The cafe and restaurant didn’t seem that inviting and very quiet for Easter but that’s no reflection on Roz place. We enjoyed the hot tub unfortunately we weren’t able to use the outside lounging area due to weather being mixed. We enjoyed travelling to Bude (beautiful place) and we enjoy going to strawberry fields farm and coffee shop. The site is very peaceful and the lodges are set out so everyone is well spaced out and Roz has a lovely position overlooking the field (no animals currently). My husband used the gym once which was handy. Thanks for a nice few days

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.

This Airbnb exceeded expectations. Super clean, in a lovely and peaceful area, and the hot tub was absolutely the highlight – so relaxing! The sauna was a great bonus too. For the price, it was an incredible value. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely week at Alpine Grove touring park. Clear communication from Keith. The space was very clean and had all facilities needed for our stay. Our toddler also really enjoyed the swimming pool! Would definitely stay again. Loved it

Just back from a lovely weekend away at Tom’s cabin. The cabin was in a great location, private, peaceful with beautiful wildlife surroundings. The hot tub was a real treat. Great communication from Tom during the weekend if needed, check in and out was a breeze. A perfect weekend for my wife’s 40th birthday celebrations.

Lovely location with beautiful views. Secure garden to allow dogs to run around freely, which mine loved. It was my first trip away with both of my dogs and I was a bit worried about it, but it was perfect. Hosts are very welcoming to dogs as well which made me feel more at ease. Hot tub was great. Lots of different areas in the garden to relax.

Absolutely lovely ! very secluded and perfect for a-few nights away. definitely book more than 1 night to fully enjoy it. gorgeous rainfall shower and freestanding tub with great amenities . place smelt lovely and was spotless and the music was a great touch. board games were really fun to play and the hot tub was so nice. great and friendly host with good parking and even a little trolley to help bring over your things. will def be booking again!

The Hideaway is absolutely gorgeous. So simple, yet effective. Everything was catered for, the bed linen was clean, the bathroom was clean and Rachel had contacted us the day before with clear directions to the place and lock box. We came for a romantic break for a special birthday and it exceeded all expectations!

Simply stunning couple of nights away. The location is beautifully quiet in the woods. The only note is that it is next door to a holiday home so there can be some noise in the evenings which we experienced, but it didn’t matter one bit to us. Cosy living space and a nice comfy bed with a lovely en suite bathroom. The Chicken House is the best air b n b we have stayed in and we will absolutely be back to use the hot tub as we are gutted we didn’t get the chance to use it this time as we were too busy :) Thank you again for a lovely stay!
